[Q] xperia u : no rom installed with no backup - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hello
I am currently in a big problem. I just accidently wiped all my data. I didn't backup and cwm is not installing aokp rom. The boot screen only stucks to "Free Xperia Project" Logo and does nothing else.
I tried flashing ics firmwire again but it failed. I also tried pushing cyanogenmod rom to my sd card my it keep on giving no device error.
I dont know what to do now. Simply cant even explain it properly. Can someone help me please.

Did you try repair with SUS or PCC?
If you can still enter CWM or you even get a boot logo then your ok, it will be an easy fix.
Sent from my ST25i using xda app-developers app

PCC and SUS are not able to detect XPU because XPU is not able to connect to pc.
Yes I can enter CWM and see boot logo.

Enter cwm, connect the phone to the pc, open something like "mounts and storage">"mount usb storage" in recovery.
Copy the rom that you want to flash from pc on your internal memory, unmount usb storage and flash the rom :fingers-crossed:

Can you connect in flashmode? If so,flash stock ftf file.

Did u unlock bootloader? Or still locked?
Flash generic ftf using flashtool or try repair using PCC.

If you have installed clockworkmod recovery and able to boot into recovery, then try flashing any custom rom(don't forget to wipe cache and data).
OR
Flash a GB or ICS rom (.ftf extension) via flashtool.
you need to download any .ftf firmware for your phone.
then install flashtool.
put your downloaded .ftf files to C/program files/flashtool/firmwares.
turn off your phone, hold down the volume down button, while you do that don't let it go just yet.
open flashtool.
connect your phone to pc using usb cable.
wait until flashtool recognized your device.
then click on the lightning icon and choose flashmode.
then choose the .ftf files that you just downloaded then click on "start" if im not mistaken.
then just sit back and relax and wait till flashing finished.
that's it. your phone will boot normally.
if you dont want your files in phone memory (downloaded games/apps/settings),
unchecked wipe data and cache in flashtool before you flash the .ftf
Flash Using Flashtool
Just flash your phone using flash tool.
1. Download the respective *.ftf file for your phone.
2. And then flash using the flash tool available for xperia.
:good:
if you really want to save your data ..and you already have cmw ..
there is a tricky way ..but not sure if it would work or not
Thank you very much guys. I reflashed my phone. Problem solved, but all my messeages gone, thats the only bad thing, and Market app is still not updates to Google Play, i dont know why

Error mounting /sdcard!

I had the same problem. Solved.it by flashing.xsx kernel. I think its just that you need.to reflash kernel with fastboot.

yes also already fix my xps..try this..
1.download xps ics rom(.ftf must be 600+mb)
2.download the latest flashtool (v0.9.7) then install
3.copy .ftf(ics rom) then paste in the C:\Flashtool\firmwares
4. goto C:\Flashtool\drivers then run then mark "xperia s for ics, fastboot driver and flashboot driver"
5.goto C:\Flashtool\ then select flashtool64 if your comp is 64bits,
6.click the thunderbolt at the left side then mark flashmode
7.select lt26i then ok then do not touch anything just wait to flash until a dialog bo will pop up to connect your device
8.turn off you xps then trigger in flashmode by pressing vol+ then power, release the the two keys until green led light
9.wait to flash the stock ics
10. if finished disconnect your xps then reboot (note:first reboot it takes to long)

[Q] stuck in boot loop after flashing rom

Ok guys, I'm relatively new here. Been reading a lot, but never posted.
So today I tried to flash my Xperia S with flashtool.
Downloaded CM10 (FXP144), copied the zip file to the phone. etc etc.
fastboot works, but when I'm in CMW recovery and try to install the zip file (FXP144-cm-10-20121026-unofficial-anzu.zip) it fails..
E:error in /sdcard/...zip (status 7) installation abborted.
This means my phone is completely stuck.
What do I have to do?
Been searching and reading the forums for more than 3 hours now, can't find a solution...
Hello,
Think you should post this in Q and A section. I'm not sure of the codename for the Xperia s. But I'm quite sure it's not 'anzu'. Make sure you download the right zip for the device you're flashing to.
Nozomi maybe?
Hit thanks if helped.
Cheers,
Lunar.

If you can get into cwm then I presume you can download the right file to a PC, and transfer it to your phone by going to the mounts and storage menu in cwm and mounting mass storage?
You should be able to flash the correct file in cwm?
Hit thanks if helped.
Cheers,
Lunar.

How do I copy the file to my phone..
hey..

There maybe an option in cwm mounts and storage menu. Mount sdcard, or USB mass storage or something along them lines. Then you can connect phone to PC via USB cable.

Hello Guys!
I have a little bit the same problem .
Any luck ?
Look for a stock rom that's a .ftf extension.
Download flashtools.
Reboot in flashboot (Vol down + power)
Flash the ftf file.
Should (hopefully) work?
Edit: Try looking for an ICS rom. The stock ones are kind of every where. GB ones are a lot harder to find.

You can go to stock ics with cwm but it will get stuck in bootlogo. Cause u don't have a stock ics kernel.(fxp is not a stock kernel)
U must flash a stock kernel 1st.

Bro that means fastboot & flashtool drivers are not installed or not installed correctly..
Do this go to C:/ Flashtool /drivers/drivers.exe and install this exe file
Warning pop ups will be given by window but you will choose "install drivers anyways "
Reboot Desktop and phone then try connecting in fastboot or flashtool

I had similar problem with all drivers properly installed, i tried everything and nothing... until i uninstalled the "DroidExplorer" .
Probably it was some kind of driver conflict or something, so if you are using anything like that.. uninstall it and try
