Hi, I have an SE X10i
Firmware: 1.6
Baseband: 1.1.31
Build : R2BA026
and I'm wondering if there is a way to get the Market app cause it didn't come with the phone as I purchased it in Dubai.
Thanks
Market Fix
Cheers man.
So I have to ROOT my phone to get this done? Is it safe? or should I avoid it for now? And if you can advise me to a video or thread that can help me in the Backing-up/Rooting/Restoring process that would be great!
Sad thing is there aren't much forums for Xperia. I mean look at iPhone forums theres just TONS of them. I love SE but they just need more ACTION!
Anyway thanks for the help man.

Yes, and now can be done with ONE CLICK. I use the Standalone X10 root.apk which allows you to unroot with one click too.

Why avoid it when it's ridiculously simple, install app, click to root.

Just remove space before and after " :// "
Don't like the UI, very GB-looking with some improvements...

Our devs made the previous Alpha available for Neo within a week, so have patience.

There is anyone tried install XS roms on ACRO S ?
Is that possible ? because there isn't any rom for us . except CM10/CM9
Yeah, some work, some don't. The device is nearly unbrickable so just try the ones you like.

I didn't test ROMs because I don't have a device, but I worked with stock ROMs a bit and they're pretty much identical. The device is actually nearly unbrickable because you can always flash stock with flashtool.

Pretty much so. At least as long as you don't do stupid things like flashing firmwares for a completely different device (P,U, etc. <-> S,AcroS etc.)
can someone give me link for the stock rom ( Acro S ) and how to install is
if i broke my phone while iam trying flash XS rom
Take a look here.
Don't be afraid the file store, you have to put the digital code into the field below the code and press the green button then after wait 10 seconds and downloading will start.
i am wondering the latest firmware for xperia acro s is the same as the latest one for xperia s, since their build number are exactly the same. Is that mean Sony is trying to merge both device rom and kenerl together?
