unfortunately Wi-Fi calling on sense4.0 will likely never work and adding to the trouble wi-fi calling on ics didn't work that good and was buggy

Try clean wipe, flash Rom, then flash a kernel right after. Also make sure 4ext smart flash is turned on

Thanks to PreLudeDrew for getting this working. My First roms were having issues so Im using his update script and binary.

Most of you don't like wiping your phone to install roms. But when it comes to that its best to just bite the bullet and get a clean install.
I will try to make roms so that you can just install on top and just clear dalvic cache.
I'm at V2 right now so if I go to 2.1 it can be installed on top with just a clear of cache and dalvic but if I do V3 then its best to wipe the phone as I have done something big for a change.

This is a stock rom thats all. All that I change is added more cache for us, and optimized the apps to work better for us.

Here is my first rom in a few weeks that I did by my self. thought it was time to do something as a base. Nothing has been changed looks wise its fully STOCK. I will be adding things to it. This is a updated base for any user or dev. just give thanks where its needed. I know right, since I had to sell back my HeroC to Sprint (damn I miss that phone ) to be able to afford my 3D I haven't flashed anything to a phone in over a month. It's actually been fun though using sense again, and I'm definitely content in waiting until we get S-OFF/perm root. The wait will make it that much better.

Thought I should share something with you all.
Here's my attempt of porting Sense 3.5 from Pico. I used Pico Hero rom from HeroGSM as a reference for porting... This is a basic port, as I really don't have time due to numerous exams and a uncooperative slide (the trackpad now refuses to work at all :|).
Without further ado, here's a list of what (doesn't) work:
What WORKS:

What DOESN'T WORK (plenty):

tether
call
bluetooth
USB storage
camera
very laggy.
If there's anything else, tell me.

Really? Selfish? I just didn't want to release a non-daily driver... that was slightly... disappointing.
Anyways. Tell me how this goes, and if anyone has suggestions on how to improve this rom, PM/post on this thread. This rom needs ALOT of work.

found out why it didnt boot... my cache space was filling up way to fast... so i lowered my system space to 175 and increased cache to 120

Try it out. I overclocked daniels release and it ran pretty smooth. Apart from the major bug of no audio during calls I would have kept it as my daily.

I meant WE shouldn't be looking at this as a race, but rather as a WIN WIN situation.
But the last things are extremely hard to get working, I'm guessing they both get NFC pretty soon, then MAYBE cell data, but wifi and bluetooth are going to be near dang impossible without those drivers.
But seriously, just tried out X's new preview (v3) and man was it smooth! I can't wait for the whole shabang!

Just needs bt, data, gsm, and something else... Not WiFi though... They have that I believe. They also got usb recognition for charging and adb working they other day.
There's another thread called "ics for the amaze" or "who will get cm first"... I don't remember... Clutter smh...
Anyway... There's an update there

Its probably about there for daily driver. Data still funky..didnt recognize sdcard2, gallery and camera were iffy. SMS worked but never tried mms. It ran good besides that. No fc except gallery after a long wait and camera should since it froze. The base rom is solid though.

The ROM is ALMOST daily driver material. The battery life is atrocious compared to other ROMs, but that's something that will be worked out. After that is fixed, I would call it a DD.
SD card already works, camera is somewhat stable, Google Now works well, and I'm not seeing many force closes.

Will be a daily once they fix the screen going off when making calls issue too...
If I need to "hit 1 for English," I'm SOL. If I need to use speaker, I'm SOL. Etc.

One thing I saw was that I couldn't mount my storage to my PC or it would hot reboot or just not mount at all. I haven't tried it on aokp yet though.

Keyboard in landscape only shows top row of qwerty for me. All bunched up to the left too. Don't know if this has been discussed yet just thought I'd share.
Edit: works fine after a reboot.

Yea, it was clean flashed. Ok i just tried it again on AOKP JB and it mounted just fine. Maybe it was just my build?

I'm on a build from 2 nights ago but the sound profile seems finicky. Like it will show the icon n status bar that its on silent. But a notification will sound, then I can use the volume hardware buttons and see that the ringers way up, but if I turn it back down and LA with it a bit it gets right.
Also, with the play store when I am doing what I call rapid fire downloading, which is scrolling through "my apps" and installing one after the other, is rare but after about 12 apps sometimes the play store will just force close to the home screen. But then I can open it and it loads up fresh and works fine.

no FC for me. just random reboots. happens a lot when apps request root. at first set up its annoying but after that it seems to work well.

Not until you just mentioned it. I think it's a pretty silly gimmick and I never notice it unless I'm looking for it. I can confirm though.
Was listening to BT music and placed a call ( with phone not bluetooth ) was done with the call the audio played from phone and not from BT.
