[Q] How is it with aplication LOCATIONS on ROM CM10 - HTC EVO 3D

One more question about the rom CM10. I bought offline navigation for Europe in Locations. Will It be a license to operate even in this ROM?

Usually things like that are tied to your Google account so it should work, but I've not tried that myself.
EDIT: I was thinking licenses, not framework. See below.

No. Locations is an HTC app and such requires sense framework to work. It will only work on a sense ROM with locations

Nope. cm10 is based on AOSP. (which is one of the key reasons why 3D is so hard to fix)

And...you know some Rom with Jelly Bean and sense 4.1? Or exist only sense 4.1 ROMs without Jelly Bean?

Viper3D sense 4.1 ICS
sadly no JB sense 4/4.1 roms yet for us evo 3D users. I guess we'll get some kind of port from our great devs once JB hits the One S

ok, so for me Viper3D ROM is better as CM10? I prefer to ask, because I do not know much in those forums, there is much posts for me.
Or is there more differences? I really like the user interface. But I don't want use only launchers
I was thinking about buying a new phone that was just Jelly Bean and the new Sense equipped from the factory. But unfortunately, in the Czech market, prices are overly high

It all depends on personal preferences. cm10 is light and will probably be a lot more "smoother" than a sense rom. but some people prefer the sense UI and all the added goodies that come with it. I would recommend you try them both out and choose whichever you feel suits you more.
Btw we have a thread for discussing/comparing roms.

Damn... Good Lord, I hate Touch Wiz.
Fine, ASOP then. Having said that, is there an app(s) that I can get the Sense widgets at least? You can't deny the functionality of Sense widgets.

Having come from a HTC device, which I ran as aosp, my comments are;
Sense widgets were easily replaced from the market. Many alternatives were superior to the sense equivalent.
You cannot have sense widgets without the sense kernel and framework
If it's touchwiz you dislike, just get a launcher from the market.
As a former AOSP developer, I have to recommend that you stay with sammy plus launcher for a while. Sammy roms are feature packed and you will lose loads by going to aosp. Don't jump ship until you know what you've got and whether or not you want it.

[Q]will we gets sense 4.1 update?

i just saw a news said that one series will gets a new sense version
and it's much faster than before and quick settings added by htc so will we gets that?
Officially, never in a million years.
We got Sense 3.6 with our official ICS update, while other devices got Sense 4.0.
So when we didn't even get Sense 4.0, we won't get an even newer version than that.
Unofficially, then absolutely 100% sure that we'll get some form of newer versions of Sense should it be released.

Most likely no. Never from HTC or Sprint. We may get a port but I seriously doubt any real development will be done.

I agree.
All Sense 4.0 ROMs still have major bugs.
HTC didn't release it for our phones with the ICS upgrade, so they won't release 4.1.
And, the development by devs on this forum is unlikely, since, like I said, Sense 4.0 ROMs still have major bugs, which means Sense 4.1 will only create more.
Not from Sprint
I agree, Sprint is not going to help us out. They were slow enough to roll out the office ICS update for us. And I haven't seen any evidence that HTC is planning this either.
I contacted HTC and they said that they are trying to get JB on as many devices as possible, may be a possibility, they don't have enough new devices to fit the title "as many devices as possible"... The one series has what, 3 phones.?

Its not that they don't have enough devices its that they don't want to make empty promises like with that Desire HD scandal.
They just want to test Jelly Bean thoroughly so they are sure the device will get better with new software.
As for the OP question nope not in a million years i even doubt we will get Jelly Bean even thought HTC is the best with the updates on the market but i think they won't bother to get us latest Android and beside Google Now has been ported to us and im already using it so now all i need is expendable notifications and then im all set.

Who's porting JB Roms?

Anybody know of anyone working on porting some of those international One X Jelly Bean ROMs?

I've personally been holding off on AOSP ROMs for the EVO LTE because i actually prefer Sense (well, Sense 4.x) and it's more capable Facebook integration.

Depends on if you want AOSP or Sense, to begin with. Stock Sense would obviously be the most stable. There are a lot of great kernels in the CDMA section for both.
I personally find the DisarmedToaster CM10 ROM to be the most stable (if you want Jelly Bean/AOSP) in combination with the ButteredToast kernel. There are a few other ROMs and kernels, though.
Preferred ROM/kernel combination seems to vary a lot around here, though.
I don't think there would be any harm in trying multiple ROMs and kernels to see what you like. After all, it really comes down to what you personally feel works the best when it comes to Android. Just be sure to make back-ups before flashing

Most stable for me was mobsters hd lite Rom with anthrax kernal. It's nice because you don't need to be s off if you flash the Rom with 4ext. And just flash the kernel right after you flash the Rom.

You would need to define your criteria for "best" first.
For me, "best" ROMs are ROMs that give me better speed, more features, and similar stability to stock. I also keep my devices for a pretty long time. So as they age I look to the community for support in keeping up to date. Hell, I still have a Tegra 2 tablet (Gtab) and my old Hero C laying around.
In this respect, I have had very good luck with ViperROM on the LTE. YMMV

I believe the apk has to be modded to work with sense. I tried restoring some aosp system apps on a sense rom and just got FCs. Clean ROM used to have a bunch of modded apks but I think it's been abandoned...haven't seen any out there for 4.1.2 yet.

Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
This is always going to be a question that never has the perfect answer. It depends on what you want/need. Go sense if you want the classic evo look and just want the basic experience its for people who don't care as much about making the device faster and better, they just want it to work and the only real reason they rooted it was to get rid of the bloatware. Keep it simple stupid. Honestly sense is fast, but aosp is is much more reliable and stable. Sense kernels have that small chance of corrupting your file system if and when your device crashes. It's a small chance but a chance none the less.
AOSP is by far the best for the ones who do want to unlock the devices full potential. AOSP (Android open source project) roms are more difficult to create and perfect but they give these devices more potential but its also up to the user to do his or her research. Don't flash or tweak even the slightest thing until you do your research and search xda and google. When you find a guide that of course isn't too old and you know you can trust it, read it over and over and bookmark it. Always search xda but never listen to the opinions of others until you test it yourself.
These rom creators work hard and they expect us to know what we are doing.
tl;dr - I will just say this, if your willing to spend more time to give you the best experience go AOSP. And if you go AOSP go CyanogenMod and nothing else. And for the kernel if you do wish to use a custom kernel I hightly recommend Komodo if you want an even better user experience.
Best rom is...
... the one that works best for you
FWIW. I love the ViperRom. Phone feels like it just "works" and, if I want, there are lots of customizations available.
That said, I just switched to HatkaLTE because I wanted to stay with a sense rom and it seems to me that the last update of ViperRom reintroduced the original rom's sensor problems on my phone. [I say seems because it's still not perfect, just better, on the HatkaLTE and maybe the hardware has developed a defect]. I can't say much about this rom yet because I haven't had it on my phone long enough and because I'm also playing around with different launchers at the same time.
Good luck!

IDK, but I'm really excited to install the new VIPERROM
Very, very excited. Hopefully it (re)fixes the proximity sensor problem, but if not, I have the init file all ready to solve the problem myself!
I have to agree with many of the posts, it's more of a personal taste question. I've run almost every ROM at some point, and I love the speed of AOSP, but like the features of Sense. There are a few key features that you lose on AOSP. After a whole lot of flashing, I've settled on SuperJelly Bareback, it strips out all the bloat of Sense while retaining those key features, and is almost spot on with the speed of AOSP. It's my happy medium. Good luck and happy flashing.
If you dont need Bluetooth, Sense 5. Otherwise Viper or Super LTE.
