I have some problems and i think you can help me.
1. I have rebooting problem on my x10 mini pro with Froyo CM6-Latest v3.01. I downloaded it from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1059361. In performance settings I have disabled JIT, VM heap size to 32m. In Troubleshoot it says to install non overlocked version, but this is older version of CM6, it's v1.0 (Not Overclocked MiniCM v1.0). If I install it, my previous rom will be deleted, or no?
3. My phone is sometimes lagging and it's working sometimes very slow. How to make it faster, and without lag?
2. This is a GPS problem. I'm using navigon, but it can't find a gps signal. The signal is found just after a long time (about 10 - 15 min.). How to solve this problem?

Hey guys, I just installed the rom GingerDX v17 on my x10 mini pro and i am having some small (i think) problems. Ill make a list to make it easier for you to read.
- I flashed with the basic package (gingerDX.zip) but on the post of this rom there are more things to be installed. How could I install the "newCMParts.apk"?
- The second file to be installed is only if I use a stock kernel. How can I discover if my kernel is stock or custom? It says Kernel version: 2.6.29 [email protected] #1 but I have no idea what it means. And if I have to install it I should use the same method of the question above?
- How can I change the keyboard layout? I have a "ç" that is being typed as a ","
- The lights of the keyboard are not turning on, any hint? I searched all configs and I couldnt find how to do it.
- My cellphone reseting randomly, I am running out of battery kinda fast and the wifi not always connect perfectly. Anybody knows something about this? Maybe if I install the file on the same question itll make it better?

What is the best music player, you have the option to find and play by folder and that does not take many resources
Someone recommended me the best application for instant messaging, where you can chat services like MSN, Facebook, Gtalk, etc ... but that can send and receive files
If there is no ROM and stable good enough, someone can help me, that applications are in order in the system of stock I can safely delete
As I can change the system bootanimation
Stock, I put one of the new Xperia where only the word XPERIA

I think the best ROM for x10 mini/mini pro are miniCm7!:good:
It's very stable, it's still in development
And the best application for instant messaging i think are Kik.
But i dont know if you can send files??

MiniCM7Pro by paul-xxx is the best ROM on stock kernel, check it out in the MiniPro Development section of this forum.
i think miniCM7 is the best and more stable!!

Useless advice if he states time and time again he can't unlock the bootloader, MiniCM7 only runs on nAa kernel.
You could also try ArcMini Nxt, (the non ICS version), that will run on stock too

Kik is definitely best! I use it all day every day and it's great as for file sending you can install an addon from the + on a chat screen then more and apps that kik, there's an addon in there

I'd agree with that. I had that for a while and it worked really nicely.

MiniCm7 pro V21 (This is very good, and something stable, but the battery consumption is excessive and also the problem that the keyboard lights are lit when the display is lit) (I tried 2 fix it is installed through CWM and fix apk)
ArchMini (This is very good so it stable, but has the problem of the lights, I tried several fix and none works)
XperianBlaze (Very good ROM and also has a new version is very good but if it has a problem with the lights on the keyboard)
SonyStyle (Very good and very stable ROm, but as has the problem of lights)
I tried these ROM's and many more that I found on the net, but all have the keyboard problem, the wifi is turned off by the minute (This I could not fix) Besides all ROMs to install and move applications to the SD become slow (Which does not happen in the official version 2.1) All ROM's are slowed to install themes (I tested issues ICS)

can't go in recovery
phone=xperia x10 mini pro (u20i)
I tried almost every method for installing cwm or xrecovery....like recoverX ,xrecovery installer, etc etc...and all methods says successful....
Bt the problem is that it won't go in recovery....i tried all combination...like vol+,-...back button ,etc.....
No success....can any body help me.....to solve this problem...

Hi I'm looking for some help to make 100% to GingerDX v21b Rom (Stock kernel) x10 mini pro
What I do is:
1. - The STAY wifi always connected as in version 2.1, with this ROM the wifi disconnects every hour and 20 minutes that remains connected to a wifi network (No change in the ROM where that does not happen this)
2. - The radio can not be heard from the speaker (or do not know where I can get it to work)
3. - I would like to put the clock in the notification bar at the center
4. - I would like so that we can change the style of the lock screen and answer calls, by the style of the new xperia black

As you can give more stability to a ROM?
As you can read from the title, i am asking you which ROM is the most stable for Xperia U.
I have always had problems with the status bar (it disappears in CM), keyboard (slow and disappears randomically in almost every ROM i tried), calls (because of the lag problem in some ROMs), apps compatibility (like Vine).
I would like to avoid these problems.
Anything else does not matter for me (Sony based or not and so on).
Can anyone help me? :fingers-crossed:
