Can LTE be possible in GSM EVO 3D? - HTC EVO 3D

This may be a stupid question(and probably impossible lol), but
I was tweaking around with my EVO 3D and I went to the hidden phone menu and saw something weird -

Can LTE be possible in our gsm evos(since I know that for LTE u need the antenna and all)

Sure. If you can solder on the lte hardware into the phone, then program the motherboard and get a modified lte sim card to work with the evo, then build a rom to have lte working along with the kernel to have the appropriate drivers. :banghead: : banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: : banghead:

[Q]Replacement Question

Since the EVO 3D has been discontinued
--source--
http://m.engadget.com/default/artic...inues-htc-evo-3d/&category=classic&postPage=1
Will that mean that if we lose our phone or something happens we won't be getting a Evo 3D from sprint ? I know its refurbished and sprint doesn't control what phone we'll get, but will that mean by December if we submit our phone as missing we'll be sent an Evo LTE rather then the Evo 3D?

It is discontinued, but that doesn't mean they have zero refurbished 3Ds ready to cycle through. But! That would be a nice treat if we sent one in and got an LTE instead. I know I'd be like......

Select time zone message?

Does anybody else get this from time to time? I get it every now and then when I'm both on 3G or WiFi.

Is this an issue from Sprints towers then? My other sprint phones never did this.

Its like that on Most Phones well everyone I`ve owned. AT&T Note, N7000, N7100, HTC One X, Xperia phones, LG Thrill, Galaxy S2 .
Gotcha I remember the nexus 4 people did this and was able to turn on the lte radio so I thinking this maybe the same thing with cdma just for the fun of it
Sent from my HTC One X+ using Tapatalk 2
I've wondered something similar to this. I've noticed that almost all new phones have a micro SIM slot even Verizon and Sprint phones. I heard somewhere that most newer phones have radios for both gsm and cdma which makes me think if they were unlocked anyone could use any phone for any carrier?? Is that correct or am I wrong?

[Fixed]3g issue

I bought my LTE but I couldn't use it till morning. The city I live in is Madison Heights,MI...I stayed the night at a friends...she lives in Ferndale. My 3g speeds normally are crap
In that city...but when I tethered to the EVO from my S2 it was getting 2mb/s on 3g..and as soon as I activated the EVO its back down to shifty speeds...in Madison heights...I use to get 1mb/s if not better on my 3vo and original EVO. Is there something I'm missing? Latest radios? I'm on meanbean s-off with dirty raccoon any suggestions?
I have done ##3282# restore changed cdma/LTE back and forth updated prl and profile still nothing..
Re: 3g issue?
Updated to latest radios and pri still being slow...I think I'm being throttled..how can you tell??
