After last update my Archos cannot detect nor USB nor his original dongle. anyone with same problem? or any fix. Really need help
Some people have this same issue on ther archos. Just wait archos to fix it, or send it for repair to them. And also:

(About tablet> baseband version is unknown), and same on (boot version: unknown/5.05.000009-c0x00)

Hi all,
New here and have some questions.
I have a Archos 70b Ereader. Its with Wifi and internet etc.
I want to upgrade the firmware but i really dont now or can find any info on the archos site. Is my 70b a Gen8 ? i like to hack the device so i have more options.
Can someone help me a bit or link some info i need to know?
I have right now this firmware:
Modelnr: A7EB (in the software) on the back of the device: modelnr:7702
(what modelnr do i use?)
v0.18eclaire
Firmware 1.0.1
Is there any firmware thats better right now?
The most frustreting is that i dont get the part what kind of archos i have.
If you look on the archos site i dont find any 70b device.

Sory to say that, but 70eReader is not a Gen8 Device,
It has the same hardware that 70HT (idk if it's v1 or v2) so it's the same roms

Please i need upgrade archos 101 internet tablet 2.2.1 to another rom:crying:
If u know what "rom" means but you dunno how then read a bit more and u will have no problems dealing with it.
as title says im having trouble telling which generation archos i have, it just says archos 101 internet tab, any help would be great!
The A101IT (Archos 101 Internet tab so) is a Gen8 tab.
thats great, thank you, another question i cant install flash 11, would rooting and using a custom rom sort this problem? my wife plays facebook games and it says it needs flash 11,

I'll let someone else answer this, but as far as I know, you "can" install it, but it doesn't work very well for what I recall on my lasts testings

i dont frequent here very often but i have a problem and wondered if anyone could give me a little help,.
I recently bought a Noontec A9 smart tv box but im having problems
1st is that the remote keyboard doesnt work on box even if i use usb lead to connect so i went to noonco home page for a firmware update but it wont let me download it , its as if it isnt there,
so could anyone help me out as to why keyboard wont work and also where i can get the LATEST firmware update for the box , also is there any links as to what can be modified /flashed with this box , its new to me dont know much about them

Just had the same problem. Did not find the information anywhere, but I discovered there is a usb receiver in the bottom of the mouse. Remove it and plug it into a usb port on the box and voila.

Hi I just like to share a problem on my Archos 101 G9 8GB 512RAM. Official firmware 4.0.26 Since I have problems with my touch screen, it hangs and does it reacts more left after the day or worse games in the tablet works correctly only does the screen reacts plus.depuis the official 4.0.28 update product that does more, like with 4.0.28 root no problem, I put it in against the 4.0.28 this root deodexed it again, I do not understand why this one dev can help me understand before possible return to service? thank you
