i bought a pre-owned galaxy s2 i9100, everything is working fine except the headset. when i listen using headphone, it produce garble sounds. i conclude that the problem is on the hardware side. now, i wonder if the hardware wherein you insert the headset is replaceable? any thoughts? thanks in advance
btw, my current OS is jellybean 4.1.2 (leak version)

Hi all ,
today i upgrade my Samsung Galaxy SIII to 4.1.1 from 4.0.4
and my problem is when using my iPhone earphones that i like , and used to use "just comfortable to my ears .."
they was not fully work with my galaxy "the volume buttons was not working " , but the answer button was working + mic and earphones ...
and now mic don't work with it any more ...
i double check the issue withe other earphones , and with another Samsung galaxy that still on 4.0.4 .
any idea ? or solution ??
Its due to Apple suing Samsung i am afraid .

Hi
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 International (GT-i9100M) on Bell Canada with Cyanogenmod 10.1.3 Android 4.2.2. I'm looking to get an aftermarket car stereo to replace my aging Pioneer deck and am considering getting one with Bluetooth.
What I'm looking for is one to connect to my phone and play podcasts (BeyondPod) and music (Apolo) and GPS directions (OSMAND+ via TTS) I'm currently comparing these two models:
Sony MEX-BT3100P
And
Pioneer Mixtrack (Sorry no link Best Buy took it down)
Anybody have experience with either of these or have another one they prefer?

Help Please , I have a Mpai i9500 , great bit of kit , it's my back up phone to my galaxy s4 , the headphones that came with the Mpai I9500 are pretty rubbish to be honest but they do work , remote , mic and earphones.
I would like to use a better pair of headphones
I have tried my Samsung galaxy s4 headphones and a cheap android compatible pair from eBay on the phone the sound works for listening to music , BUT the mic does not work and the remote buttons do not work......
The Mpai i9500 is running android 4.2.2 , I have had a look for a headset app for perhaps re-configuring headsets , but I've not really found anything that is made to fix the problem.
Does anyone know of a solution via a app or a link to a compatible set of headphones.......if required , I would be happy to root the phone if required.
TIA
