hi guys...
basically i had once bootlooped my evo3d and to solve that, i relocked the hboot and reflash using ICS RUU which upgraded my hboot to 1.53.0007... (i just realized it now when i want to downgrade my hboot...)
now my htc is unlocked, rooted, using 4ext recovery, run on mwakious v11.5 with 3.28.707.1 and still s-on...
i have read some tutorials for downgrading 1.53 hboot, however all tutorials tells me to flash the leedroid custom rom first...
is it possible to downgrade my htc with current condition (mwakious ICS rom) following the wiretrick method???
must i flash the gingerbread rom???
thanks before for the answer...

So i tried flash new kernel. And now it's just reboot all the time. Hboot 1.53.007. Clockworkmod recovery v5.0.2.0. Some one has good idea? :fingers-crossed: Sorry for bad english. I'm from finland if some one wants know.

Which Kernel did you flash??
Your first thing you should do is restore a backup (Which you should always make before doing something dangerous like flashing.... Anything....)
If you don't have a backup, Reflash a rom, Any rom that you know will boot, The most stable closest to stock rom you can. I'm from the CDMA section so I don't know your roms.
If worse comes to worst, Find your correct ruu and flash that, It'll take you to 100% stock, and unroot you, But rooting is easy :silly:
AW: Booting evo 3d gsm
1.53 hboot isnt compatible to all roms (afaik only sense 3/3.6 based roms and the Viper sense 4.1 rom)
U would need to downgrade to 1.49 if u want to flash everything...
Which rom did you flash?

It was yoda kernel if I remember correctly.
You should Definitely grab the stock kernel when in a bad spot, I'd link it, But I don't have a GSM phone, I'm sure you can find it.
Be aware that the newer kernels are just for jelly beans Roms, also are you s-on, if so the kernel is not flashing correctly. I would also suggest updated your recovery to 4ext . If your s-on , 4 ext has smart flash which will flash the kernel correctly

I have one simple question. After Htc Unlocked bootloader on hboot 1.53 can i flash custom roms and kernels.?
Please reply ASAP
you can flash sense based roms like mwakious, yodaICS and Viper3d. but you cant flash AOSP based roms like cm, aokp etc. they require hboot 1.49(which requires s-off)
What about S-ON + 4ext? Can I flash AOSP roms with 4ext and HBOOT 1.53 S-ON?

If the rom requests HBOOT 1.49 (AOSP, AOKP etc..) you simply cannot flash it on Devices with HBOOT 1.53. After that flash the device will be bootlooping.
if you want to s-off your device, follow these instructions: http://unlimited.io/juopunutbear.htm
please note that you will need to make a live cd of ubuntu as windows is no longer supported. and you need to RUU back to stock before doing the wire trick

If you really want to install stock ICS RUU, you'll have to downgrade your hboot first (only possible after S-OFF). Easier would be to install an ICS custom ROM and kernel without changing the bootloader.
Is there any tutorial for downgrading and s-off procedure?
Please give me a link if u know of any.
Take a look here... Shouldn't have been hard to find with search...
