I update my s3 to android 4.1.1 yesterday. Then I saw a leaked rom android 4.1.2 in sammobile today. I installed it and found out that it has a lot of bugs. I tried to install android 4.1.1 back and after install, my phone cannot boot. What should I do?
One more thing, I can stall android 4.1.2 (the leaked rom) and can reboot. But I cannot reboot after I install android 4.1.1 rom.
try a factory reset
Thx. I fix it. :good::good::good::good:

Do a complete wipe (factore reset, dalvik, cache) and install the correct rom version. Also make sure you're running the latest CWM Recovery.
Hello to all, this is my first post and thread, I hope everyone is ok.
Well just yesterday I updated my samsung s3 to a kitkat 4.4, it is a custom version and I do not like it and decided to downgrade it to a 4.1.2, but I have tried several times and I cannot do it
I have used, odin 3.07 and 3.09, lastest version of twrp and cwm recovery and nothing, the twrp log file is attached.
I will appreciate some help, I can only install the 4.4 kitkat but I want to go back to any version, I have 4.1.2, 4.2.2 and 4.3 and none of them work.

I was wondering If it is safe to flash a 4.3 stock Firmware via odin on my I9300 4.0.4 device.It's baseband version is I9300XXLH1 which hasn't recieved any OTA updates so I'm going to flash one via odin.And I also wanted to know if any fullwipes will be needed after flashing new firmware cause for my I9500 which I flashed a 4.3 firmware on a 4.2 one I needed a fullwipe in order to fully boot the device...
Hi
I have managed to root my Samsung Galaxy s2 and install a custom rom, I havn't got a clue what rom it is I think its jelly bean, how can I tell (I think there is a mention some where of jaboo)? Is it possible to update to the latest KitKat version or one that is similar/recommended, without wiping everything off my phone as its such a pain reinstalling all my apps etc?
Cheers
I had android jelly beans installed in my phone and I wanted to try the newest version of android so I updated my phone to android 5.0.1 but I did not like it so I tried to downgrade my phone back to version 4.2.2
I searched the internet for how to downgrade my phone.I found that I have to download the stock ROM for the version that I want to downgrade to.I downloaded the stock ROM for android jelly beans the exact version That was installed in my phone before I updated it.But when I flashed my phone with this ROM, the phone just hang at Samsung logo.So I downloaded the ROM for android kitkat a more updated version. It worked however now I cannot install any app in the phone.When I try to install from the cmd it returns INSTALL_FAILED_DEXOPT .And when I try to install from google play it returns "Tty again ,and if the problem continues ,get help troubleshooting.(Error code:-24)"
