How to delete files in your "Downloads" section?

This may be a super trivial question, but I cannot seem to find how to delete files in the "downloads" folder/app.
I had downloaded some PDF files, and it shows in the Internet & Downloads page. I've tried clearing the cache/cookies/history in my Internet settings, but the files still appear in my Downloads section. I thought there was a way to delete them in the Downloads menu, but it does not appear to be. When I press the "Menu" button, it just gives me the option to Sort By Size.
Any suggestions?
In stock browser, when you look at your downloads history, you should see tick boxes next to each download. When you tick the box the option to delete should appear.
also, as a general idea, you could open the file explorer, navigate to the folder Downloads/ and delete the files you want to delete. a good thing about android is that you actually don't have to take care of file locations but it can still help to use file explorer to move, copy or delete files.

HTC Mail Appilcation, Attachments do not show up in Download Folder

When I open an attachment(jpeg file) in the HTC mail app it shows a message that the image was added to the devices download folder. However, when I check the download folder or gallery the image is not there.
When I save an image using the gmail mail app, it shows up in my download folder just fine.
Any ideas on why attachments wouldn't be showing up?

Try This:
1. WhatsApp stores a backup of all conversations in the SD Card. It can be accessed by doing the following:
1. Install a File Manager such as Astro File Manager, on BlueStacks
2. Navigate to sdcard/WhatsApp/Databases/
3. The message history backups are stored here. Click down on the file msgstore.db.crypt,
select Copy from the options that come up. Navigate to
/sdcard/bstfolder/bstSharedFolder/ and paste the file.
4. This file can now be accessed on the PC by navigating to
C:/ProgramData/BlueStacks/UserData/SharedFolder.
2. Now the messages can be accessed by decrypting the databases (this link tells you how)
I Don't Know That Whether It'll Work Or Not. [Do At Your Own Risk. ]
This worked for me
1. Explore your phone files on your PC, search for whatsapp messages in something like this: phone/whatsapp/databases
2. Upload the last created message database you found to your Dropbox or Drive account
3. Install file manager HD in bluestack (This App allows you to copy/delete files from SD and cloud servers/dropbox)
4. Make sure to uninstall whatsapp from bluestack before you do next step
5. In the file manager HD identify the database you upload in dropbox
6. Install whatsapp, before they ask your phone number do the next step
7. In file manager hd move the message file from dropbox to SDcard/whatsapp/databases
8. Put phone in whatsapp and it will ask you to recover messages, accept, and it should work
while updating the bluestacks whatsapp, i changed my profile name and now no old history is available... how to get my old chat history, Please help.
better idea is install file manager make a zip file of watsapp folder and paste it to /sdcard/bstfolder/bstSharedFolder/
find that zip file on your pc from C:/ProgramData/BlueStacks/UserData/SharedFolder and paste it in your phone and extract it to your internal directory and done

Hotmail folders using stock android kitkat app

Any ideas as to why when I create a new email folder on my hotmail account on a PC, it doesn't appear in the folders on my android app (stock kitkat email app)? Any way to refresh the folder list? I can find emails contained in any 'new' folder by searching for them on the android app, but I'm unable to actually get to the newly created folder.
Same happens when i delete a folder using my PC on my hotmail - the folder isn't deleted (or at least still appears) on the email app.
Many thanks for any help you can offer.

Well, most likely in your download folder, but you can also check under Android/data/... and finder the OneDrive folders. Sometimes file are stored there.
I don't use OneDrive, that's why my answer is that generic.
I use Dropbox tho, and it has an export button, if there is one on OneDrive I think you'll be able to save the file to a location of your choice.
Have a good day
Once you mark a file or folder offline, OneDrive will list it in a 'Files Available Offline' view.
Tap the 'Me' icon at the bottom of the app, then tap 'Files Available Offline' to instantly find all your offline files and folders.
