Hi Guys! I have bought this xperia neo from O2 UK and they blocked ICS update, as you all know the issue. But I really want to install ICS .587 after taking backup my current ROM & so that if ICS doesn't function well I can revert to my current ROM.
I have researched for two weeks about taking backup my current ROM but all I found on a site that the file system version: WORLD-1-8_4.0.2.A.0.62 is the difficult one to backup.
As I believe, for the developers nothing is difficult, they always come with a solution. Can I get help from any of you please??? If you could tell me the way to backup current ROM & install ICS that would be a blessing for me. Thanks in advance.
Root ur phone, instalk cwm, goto cwm > backup & restore > backup done

The only method I know off to backup your Rom As it is now
Is to take a Nandroid backup through Cwm
But you need to root your phone for that!
Read some sticky threads on how to root!
You'll get it done easily!

Come on man why don't you use Google or xda's wonderful search feature.
The biggest misconception of you guys is that you think we're all sitting out here to help you out.
Not that people here don't help but why don't you use your brain for a change.
Or even better use GOOGLE.
Its "Q&A" forum not "I AM AN IDIOT,

Mate,I am also facing the same problem, for some reasons, I also want stock systemui.apk but I can't get it anywhere.
But my question is that our Xperia go has only 1 Ghz Processor, and u said that u had overclocked it to1.15 Ghz!!!,but how????
I have root access and I have installed setcpu but it has
Options only upto 1 Ghz.pls tell me how to overclock to 1.15 Ghz.
Pls reply me,soon.:silly:
To overclock it, if i'm not mistaken, root is not enough. You have to unlock bootloader and install a custom kernel. Because the stock kernel doesn't support overclocking.
Do you know there is a section called "Q/A, Help" available for help and request !!
Everytime I try to update Facebook from Timescape this notification appears:
"Could not update from Facebook
Please tap here to retry"
Does anyone have any solution for this problem?

im sorry i dont understand
im really noob at this. this is my first time using android device.
i heard that there are lot of problems with ics on sola, lags etc. is this true?
i;m currently using Android 2.3.7 (BN 6.0.B.3.184)
i also havent got any notification regarding ics update on update center nor from pc companion
right now, all i need is the fb timescape to work but if i can get the ics update without any problem that would be great too.
just make a backup of ur stock ROM, then u r free to do anything u like. and when in trouble flash back to stock, so warranty wont be void. guide here

Hi,
I want to install MyXpera apk on my CM10 Neo V. Initially there is no problem and the application is successfully installed. However I cannot find the "My Xperia" option on settings. Does someone else tried to install it? Is there a way to make it work?
Thanks

Thanks a lot.
This was the reply I was afraid of, but I imagined it was the reason. Hope that in the future it also works with non-stock based Roms.
