Need a mod for quick reply!

I really like the new update, but htc took out quick toggles, and quick reply. Anybody else miss that?

Under Widgets/Settings(Android) there is a power control bar.
That's what I use and set up on one of the home screens.
Then also under Widgets/settings(HTC) there are indivual buttons plus a bar to choose from.

I haven't used JB sense. Been on JB AOSP (and intend to stay here),...HTC removed quick reply from notification panel?

Yeah unfortunately, aside from that the update is great.

Sms Enhancer from the Google play store is what I use and it gives me pop up texts with quick reply without leaving the app I'm in. It has no restrictions and is free. The paid version is merely donateware meaning contains nothing more but u donated to support the project. Here's the link: Sms Enhancer on Play Store
Hope that helps.

Icon theme for Sense 4.x

Is there any way to do this with any other tweak packs? Like with venom tweaks but on a diff sense 4.x ROM

Not really. There are apps in the market that allow you to manually replace the icons used on your home screen. You can also pull the framework files like systemui.apk and manually replace the pngs.

I have no experience messing with system files so that would be some trouble for me. Its the first time ive seem that mod and I love it its cool. Sense with aosp icons + lockscreen thats a cool mix

Messaging Widget

This may not be the best place to post this question but here goes an way. I just got my One in the mail yesterday! I'm switching from the HTC vivid and the only flaw I can find with this beautifully crafted device is that there is no built in/stock messaging widget like the one I have from sense 4. So my question is would one of the devs be willing to recode the one from sense 4 to work with sense 5.

You can use apw widgets. It's not as good as sense 4s but they work.

I'll check it out I'm currently usingng sms widget it works and dosent take up as much space on the screen, but it's not the familiar widget that I'm used to

[q] sense feature

Ive saw a feature in sense 6 which allow it to activate the screen by doubletap the screen. Is it possible to port the feature to non sense Roms?
