Dear visitors of forum XDA Developers. I'm starting to develop an operating system Google Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for smartphone Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i. I assembled a team of 10 programmers, we will develop an operating system, and to promote it in the network. We are going to develop a new operating system by rewriting the library file system, as well as correct drivers for the operating system. Our project was prepared in early September and lasts for 3 months. Our firmware is based on the operating system of the Sony Xperia TX and its predecessors. Due to problems with Jelly Bean run on devices Xperia X10i we can tighten the development release. Approximate date of the beta version on December 15. We are also very happy to receive feedback from you on the project. Donate funds to us for a powerful operating system. The last test, the operating system started up and operated without uniform hangs. To upgrade the operating system, no longer need to connect the phone to your computer, click on the phone much press "Search for updates."
Installation requirements Jelly Bean:
1. Unlocked bootloader
2. Firmware Android 2.3 or Android 4.0
3. Installed drivers SEMC HSUSB and SEMC Flash Device

edit: (guy abv me)
okay totally cannot read that....

So basically, Scritch and nickholtus get CM10 to an alpha state and then you appears, reposting their work and demanding 'donations for a powerful operating system'.
Don't think so!

yeah, same as his previous thread.
also reported this one.
come on, this is hard work!!!

this is so lame, the right place for this thread is the thrash !

if you really need donations, you could have done a lot better than this you know, this is just pathetic
Have some respect for the real devs & their hard work

can't wait to test it , goooood luck

holy **** !!!

It's my OS Jelly Bean, not skitch!!! I create OS on my own kernel.

Wish you best of luck groschovskiy. We should encourage and remain clam when posting or commenting anyone work. Specially not without understanding the idea!

Someone who is making 1.3 OC on this chip must be mad
I wont try that **** (it might fry my CPU and battery)

i would like to har from you what you have changed to the kernel to get it working.
then we can see if the kernel is really from you

Thank you very much for clarifying that (i suggest you add that to the original post, so that people don't get confused, and go crazy like previous comments.)
anyways, according to forum rules, a thread is not allowed before a rom is released, am i right? (if i remember correctly mcsqwizzy's thread got closed temporarily because there is no rom ready yet.)
so just a friendly suggestion is to try releasing an alpha rom just to make sure you don't get your thread closed by the original_ganjaman. xP
For those of you that feel that this is a scam or whatever, please be patient he did say 15 Dec so lets all bear in mind that this is a development forum and all development should be welcomed, especially to our x10 which is waay past its lifetime.
for the sake of us all i humbly apologise if i have hurt anybody's feelings, and please give this team their due support

Welcome to the Main Thread for the CM9 version of the ICX rom series. CM9 is the latest version of the highly successful CyanogenMod7. ICX is a rom series created by a team of developers which features the brand new ICE CREAM SANDWICH. The ICX rom series is currently in an alpha stage and as of such as lot of stuff doesn't work. Rest assured though we will have a fully working rom for our device hopefully before Sony release the official rom!
What works?
GSM (Calls - Texts)
Boots (Always a good thing)
Stable
Hardware Acelleration (3D + 2D)
Live Wallpaper
Google Apps
What doesn't work?
Landscape Only
Data
Touchpads
Autorotation when sliding up or down.
Camera
Bluetooth
WiFi
As you can see the rom has alot of features missing, however we will strive to fix these issues and get a fully working rom on our play!
Also I forgot, one last thing!

Now where do I download it?
"One cannot download the beast until it has been tamed!" - The wise words of the late XperiaPlayerus.
Sorry but as the rom is in an alpha state, no builds are available.

Is this built off CyanogenMod source? Or did ye do an MIUI style porting job on this one?
Is there a difference between this and FXP's CM9?
Sent from R800x
How dare you work out what i did
At the moment it is a straight port from the DHD version of CM9. At a later point I will begin to compile my own versions using the DHD version as a base.
Yes there are differences. This is the DHD version of CM9 modified (really easily ) to work on our devices.
for locked bootloader too¿¿¿
no, until there is a update to 4.0 from SE it wont work on locked bootloader because of kernel
Seriously I suggest you unlock your bootloader. I wasn't sure at the beginning but once I did it I haven't gone back!

none of you except doom has to do with CM9.
but with strange spring can decorate each
@LorD ClockaN
Ah, I get it now. Ah well the more AOSP the better
@All
This isn't CM like the FXP project is. This is parts of CM9 with parts of AOSP (The proper android like on the Nexus devices..) Ie the one without bloatware and other rubbish.
@Atze_Kraut
No we are not noobish. (It's not my fault theres more than 1 thread. Well there are seperate versions...).
Also what do you mean noone except doom has to do with CM9? I ported this to work on the Xperia Play. DooMLoRD helps us with the kernels and other stuff.
Sorry I dont quite understand you.

Hello folks,
This ROM is very early in development
Many features will not work eg data, wifi, etc.
This is just a test version to show you what is to come ahead
For some time it will not be rooted you could add superuser app and binary, etc via recovery
THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR DAILY USE
Please keep that in mind and go ahead to test it
I want bug reports not rants

Have a try using FXP 113 working for me at the moment
I hate to sound uninformed but does the X10 not have an Adreno 200 graphics chip and an Arm v7 Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon which is the same as the HTC Desire (and Nexus One)? Hence would porting either of their ICS builds not help in development of ICS for the X10?
If I had to port wouldn't I just simply port it?
This is not a port buddy
This is compiled from Google's source repositories to work on our x10s
You are right though, porting from any msm7x30 and QSD8250 device is very easy

[Mini][ROM][JB] BlackMesa [Unlocked BL]

Release : Alpha 2 (Firefly)
Built on CyanogenMod source code & CM10-Xtended ROM by ~Hikari no Tenshi~ with M66B patches.
The aim of this project is to build a CyanogenMod 10 based ROM for Smultron without any bloatwares found in stock CM ROMS. Some additional apps are added for improved functionality - Sony Media Apps (Album & Video), Walkman Music Player with ClearBass, Jelly Bean 4.2 Keyboard, Aptoide, F-Droid, PDroid Manager, beem, OpenSatNav and also a new bootanimation has sported instead of the default CyanogenMod. Gapps won't be included in my ROMs due to their proprietary nature and tracking capabilities. I strongly suggest to use free alternatives wherever possible and I have included some of them. If you still insist to use gapps you can search for it on other threads. But I wont provide support regarding gapps here.
This is my first ROM and I am not taking credits for everything I did, so go easy on me. My website includes the name of those who spent hours to bring a workable CM and other patches and features.
You are completely free to use my ROM as you wish, study, make modifications and redistribute your copies provided they carry the same freedom to others.

Notice :
This is to clarify that the version of Aptoide in Black Mesa doesnt ships a default app store out of the box, nor do I promote use of paid apps out here. Whatever the user does post installation is at the sole discretion of the user and his responsibility. If an user cant be handcuffed for using apps by other means by acting on his choice, I don't think Aptoide should be a problem. Still, If it is indeed a matter of objection, please do inform me. I would remove Aptoide from my project and FDroid will be the sole app store.
Alpha 1 is out to get a first look and for any reviews suggestions.
Whats not working?
Almost everything that works with FXP releases. Except Panorama... And I have removed ANT+ because a very few people use that.

I dont have a device at the moment. If you are planning to get your hands on development, may be you can join me : )
Why was this thread voted 1*? Is this ROM so bad?
@OP: Add support for this ROM to other devices too (PM some porters here). Use Aroma Installer.
This ROM seems very cool to me, and continuous input might make this ROM a very successful one.
All the Best.

Haha. The votes doesn't matter as this is pretty new and is mostly Alpha. So people won't notice much changes over CyanogenMod apart from little polishing and tweaks. As of now I am sticking to Smultron cause thats the device I have and I am developing all alone with my spare time. This is more of a freedom and lightweight oriented ROM with added usability. But thanks for your suggestions anyways.

As always, I want say thanks for all big names here, my testers, my friends, and all community (especially thanks for Pizza_Dox, wedgess, krisdee, Spizzy01 and DooMLoRD .
As I have 6 projects to work on for Xperia X10 and Xperia Play, all things I'm making with more stress and less time, trying to do it with all my best knowledge the best possible way . But it doesn't matter, when DiXperia 3 is right here right now!
DiXperia 3 is my ROM based on official Gingerbread with full of mods and ports.
Only one version is planned, and I can't promise any more unexpected ROMs by me (like always, my life changed much and my free time is not big as was before ).
Most of features are written below, so start reading this big thread! Hope you still want do that, and use my ROM :fingers-crossed:.
Based on official SE 2.3.4 GB, with Sony Xperia apps and framework.
Create Yourself ™ - my own idea. You've seen this in all DiXperias - it's something like "you choose stuff and version you like, and if you need something, you just apply this like extra file. No need to delete tons of apps you don't using and won't" - it's simple, fast, and has potential .
DX Engine ™ - Kernel for DiXperia projects!
Playstation Certificate.
Track ID.
Xperia player.
Changing music via volume buttons, and music in lockscreen.
Facebook.
Xperia swype keyboard.
Scripts, tricks, tweaks - they promise lot of fun, lot of performance and lot of stability ^^.
I think it's enough but you know it's not everything - I'm sure I missed a lot of features, but it's up to you to test it yourself if you really want to using this ROM.
Just come and get it in second post .
Of course Root + Busybox.
Unlocked Bootloader.
Required Kernel (could be any for GB ROMs).
CWM Recovery.
Download ROM (+ optional addons) and put it on your SD Card.
Go to CWM Recovery and make Full Wipe and Wipe Cache, then clean your Dalvik, fix Battery and Fix Permissions.
Choose .zip to flash and select my ROM. Wait...
Done! Reboot and feel free to use this!
==> Important <==
Don't want make mess here, so just go and read Suggestions, cause there are some nice advices to get DX3 working like it should (we need change some settings after flashing and booting ROM ).
And bugs are in 3rd post .
Golden-Suggestion -> If you like my work and you are using it right now, please glorify it on your signature with this graphic:
Golden-Suggestion #2 -> I want this thread clean best possible. Of course you can write here anything is connected with DX3, you can write some reviews, write about bugs if you find some which was not posted before, give link for some videopresentation if you made some, screenshots and more, more. But please - if you want thanks to me or anyone, click THANKS button, or if you want write some "little-offtop" go to Discussion Thread(thanks to pedyvirus and all guys who will help him in support of my ROM ), where you can talk about everything, not DX3 only ^^.
And:
- Don't use any backup! (it doesn't mean you must delete yours, but be sure that it can create some problems. If you replace backup and everything is cool - that's cool! )
- After flash my system give it 1 day for better stability and the second one for applicate all scripts/tweaks/tricks.
- Flash every addon separately.
- Simple, but no one understand it. If you want to have better battery life just decrase brightness.
- In my opinion, smartassV2 or interactiveX (choose yourself), and frequency of CPU 364-1306MHz gives awesome stability and performance (up to 1613MHz is still good enough with battery, at least should) .

perfect is pretty subjective
perhaps you have to express what is perfect in your opinion and talk to the dx3 team about it.
Guys, as I asked before, please do not spam dev thread before official relase or something. You have discussion thread to talk about all things .
Also, I'd like to thank you for good opinions, will do my best to give you fast stable and awesome ROM like I always try!
run4jit, I don't have R800x and I can't promise it will work. You need to check it yourself unfortunately. Sorry dude.

Change of Plans....
Good News : I have my Play with me for the Summer
Bad News : I won't have any Internet (even mobile) for 2 weeks when I get there.
And probably not much time to tamper with xPlay.

As always, I want say thanks for all big names here, my testers, my friends, and all community (especially thanks for Pizza_Dox, extremetempz, wedgess, krisdee, Spizzy01 and DooMLoRD .
Energizer is my first Jelly Bean project for Xperia Play so there might be some bugs, and I will need your help to get it fixed or get some suggestions from your side, be sure of it! Thanks community!
DiXperia Energizer is my ROM based on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
Most of features are written below, so start reading this big thread! Hope you still want do that, and use my ROM :fingers-crossed:.
Based on JB 4.1.2, with Sony Xperia apps and framework.
Walkman player.
Required Kernel (of course could be any for JB ROMs).
CWM Recovery.
Download ROM (+ optional addons) and put it on your SD Card.
Go to CWM Recovery and make Full Wipe and Wipe Cache, then clean your Dalvik, fix Battery and Fix Permissions. (if needed, make /system format too)
Choose .zip to flash and select my ROM. Wait...
Done! Reboot and feel free to use this!
==> Important <==
Don't want make mess here, so just go and read Suggestions, cause there are some nice advices to get DXE working like it should (we need change some settings after flashing and booting ROM ).

Free ram?

CyberScopes, thanks dude . I will definitelly check this, but ROM will be relased in two days max without fix for it, then some update if I make some progress with touchapds . Is there any ROM on JB with fully working touchapds like in GB stock or Customs GB?
jianjian0255, a'ight thanks!
masteril, in ROM with some already installed apps more than normal, some games, a part of widgets - I see 167mb, just checked right now, as before I didn't look into it .
for sure no
in most of the games touching touchpads will cause lag
So it means there's no JB ROM that are working fully with touchapads?
yes
but touchpads will work in some of the games
i think they work with fifa 12 (im not sure. i dont use touchpads at all)
im waiting badly for the rom
Ur first JB Rom Sir?
Looks great,will try it soon....
Cheers

Touchpads are working, but it seems like touching them starts a lot of events (that's what Cosmic Dan and farenheith said, when they analized it) and so lag.
But still, in newer CM10 releases, touchpads lag is reduced, so they can be used without problems in games like Dead Trigger, perhaps MC4 and others.
P.S.: if you want I can patch the framework.jar for you, as I opened a whole thread for touchpads fix on newer roms
Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app
It will be much easier if you could friend, thank you for trying to help - some hand will definitely helps me out . When ROM will be relased, you will see framework, so you can help me in update for touchpads in your free time . BIG THANKS!

Are you using Lupus v8 480 jb kernel?
Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app
For now yes, till me and extremetempz will work on DXEngine, but before we start I need to end all ROM projects first, so DX Rare for Xperia J, DX Plentiful for Tracer OVO 2.0, and Kernel for Xperia X10 - then will contact extremetempz for Play Kernel . For now, use Lupus.
Attention, happy using of DXE, thread updated .
nice to see a JB rom from you..lets see how it goes..any news on JB kernel?:good:
Justin 'extremetempz' is offline for a long time and I can't contact him....Also, I decided I will work with him on Kernels for Play after I relase all my last projects for all devices, so I wanted to contact him after 2 days but still...He's not here. No news for now, I know he has some problems with his laptop and he said he might be offline but I didn't know he won't be available even on mobile ;/. Sorry buddy.
