Works great, thanks!
Is anybody able to add a Flipboard widget to the homescreen? Apparently it comes with one but it doesn't show up in my widget drawer.
Edit: I got it to show up in Epsilon but not AOKP. Weird.

Okay so this app is very nice. Although, I have a glitch where I cannot go back to previous articles. As it just snaps back to my original page. Other than that, its really nice, but I'll stick with Pulse News.

Yeah, I have something similar to that--it glitches up and displays a certain page over and over even though you are changing pages and if you click on that page it goes to the article that should be displayed on that page, not the one that is displayed.

Indeed. I see you are running AOKP. I am too. Perhaps it is an AOKP issue? Can someone else confirm?
After a day of usage, I'm pretty impressed. You can set up an account using the red icon in the upper right corner. The one thing I would like to see is the ability to change the sources it uses for it's articles.

You CAN add/remove sources. Search for, let's say, Engadget. And Engadget will show up as one of the sources in the results. Click on that and then click on "+" icon to add it.
Very good!
I was wondering if anyone would be able to create a mod for the galaxy note 2 lock screen that shows notifications. They don't need to be clickable, but it'd be useful so you can see your last couple of notifications.

Same as linked above and i said that its unsuitable as this won't work on the samsung lock screen. Samsung lock screen can't have widgets on it. I'm looking for a modification to the current lock screen. Widgets won't work as you can't run widgets on the lock screen and i don't want to use a different lock screen as i like the current samsung one.
Simple don't use the Samsung lock screen just use Widget Locker to over ride the Samsung lock screen this is what I'm using with mine.

Hey guys. Just thought I'd see what everyone uses their multi app Windows for. I think it's a great idea but I can never think of 2 apps I'd use at the same time.
I turned mine off because i dont like the tab thats on the side of the phone. Texting and browsing is one good use for it. Easy to copy and paste links between the two. Although its pretty easy to swap between the two using the home key too.
SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2
I usually use mines for copying information into a notepad / memo.
YouTube and a browser bc YT stops when its in the background and with a mod'd YouTube apk, I can listen with the screen turned off
I haven't used it once, the phone switches windows so fast

Student GMail -> calendar. I get notified of school meetings and stuff all the time. Multiwindow makes it very easy to copy over the information into my Google calendar.
But that's really my only use for it. It is nice for this purpose, but I could live without.
Copying links/addresses or other information to a text is a good use, as is from any app to a note taking app.

On TW if you hold the back softkey button while multi-window is enabled it hides the bar until you want it again. Simply hold the back button once more for it to show. =)

I have to agree, aside from the cool factor of actually being able to do it, I have not found a practical use for it.
I use it when copy/pasting login credentials from LastPass.

Cool thanks guys
I have used it a couple of times to text while I watch a movie or video.
Before I had the phone, I thought I would use the multi-window a lot and was excited about it.
Tried using it a few times and it just wasn't clicking for me.
I think if I could incorporate my apps with it or if it were more intuitive, maybe I would use it. I don't know.
As of now I have it disabled.
I would like a better app switcher, though. Something like Zephyr for the jailbroken iphone.

I am a fan of Touchwiz but am open to trying other launchers. The problem seems to be the badge system doesn't work fully on any of the ones I have looked at.
Do you know of a launcher which can show numeric bubbles for unread items on SMS, email, facebook etc?
Lots do SMS and Gmail but I need the email as well, I don't even use Gmail.
Suggest away
NovaLauncher + NovaPrime + TeslaUnread does gmail, htc email, samsung email and k-9 mail.

I appreciate why people do this, but it is not for me.
If I can extract another hour of battery life I would do it, but just to make it look prettier, not for now.
If I can remove all the TW framework I might have another go
The only thing holding me back from using Nova Launcher is losing the samsung calendar widget for a full month. Why is it so hard to find a decent month-long widget??
If anyone has some alternatives, I would greatly appreciate it
I use business calender. It doesn't show a month, but it's scrollable.

Acalendar has daily, weekly and monthly widgets.
DigiCal
I had the same trouble, literally downloaded 5-10 different calender apps. I settled on DigiCal which is a paid app but I really like the widget. I found the app to be sup-par so I use the Samsung calender app to add events.

so far i've found simple calendar widget, by j4velin as one of the best Simple Calendar Widget for tablets and phones (such as my Note 10.1 2014 & note 2).
it uses little to no resources, has easy to configure options (multi-calendar, font size, layout, transparencies, refresh, etc.), and only adds one fully re-sizable icon to your list of available widgets.
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.j4velin.calendarWidget&hl=en
Try business calendar app. It has great customizable widgets.
