Hi again people, ok so here's the deal. I have this Moto Photon that was running on 2.3.4, so i decided to give it a try to the GSM methods by flashing the KDDI radio. First i unlocked the bootloader, then i rooted the phone using AIO, flashed CWM recovery via fastboot and backed up the stock ROM. Everything went fine till that point, but then when i flashed the KDDI radio and flashed the Peetrs rom it looked like everything went well. Except for the fact that when the phone booted was asking for activation. It wont let me pass that message with the onscreen keypad so now i dont know what to do in order to make that work. Please i need some help asap...
you can try deleting these files or using cdma workshop

Hey y'all. There should be two radios now. The T-Mobile and the Tellus. Wind should have another radio altogether. Could the powers that be please pull radio.img files and start up a quick guide on how to unlock the boot loader and flash radios. I am happy to contribute, but I'm new to HTC. I am running a T mobile phone on a Canadian network - I assume that a radio designed for here would work better (wrong or right).
My Baseband is 1.07.550L.04DC_20.64.550L.07D
Thanks.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you have to have s-off to be able to flash a radio?
I flashed radios on my 3g slide and didn't have s - off
correct me if im wrong but if its an official radio, ex- signed update - s-off is there to check if its got official signature, it should be allowed to flash
I don't know much about HTC. I owned a nexus S and flashed a few radios with fastboot and adb. It helped alot through the search bug issue.
I see this full roms availble now

The question is what will happen if I flash another providers ROM on top of my fully stock T-Mobile. The guide suggests that you just copy it onto an SD card on a fully locked phone and Voila. There doesn't seem to be an indication of someone switching ROM's ie. Tmobile to Wind. There are a few that tried the Telus Rom but no indication that it's worked for anyone yet.

I'm pretty sure you have to have SuperCID to flash another carrier's ROM, and you can't get that without full radio S-Off. The current HTC unlock method doesn't allow us to flash radio images, as well as other little things like splash screens. Until full S-Off is achieved, I don't think we'll be able to do any radio switching.
So would a carrier be able flash their ROM onto a phone - ie. walk into my provider and have them flash their software and CID information onto the phone - or better yet - could HTC theoretically change my CID information directly?
After numerous flashing to get my phone back, previously flash wrong pudding
file and had to flash electrify rom just to get my phone started which it did,
now my phone is USCellular and won't activate on sprint, help please.
[A]Search the forums, the answer lies in them.
What u did explain from start.

Was stock rooted photon 4G on sprint wanted to unlock bootloader and I flashed
235pudding. From then on I could not flash any sbf (stock) but finally I flash electrify sbf just to get something going and now phone works but can't get activated on sprint. I tried again to flash sprint sbf but no go, error at the end.
This phone is unbrickable for USCellular but for sprint doesn't take the flash. I guess I gonna try to unlock the bootloader and flash some rom if that works.

my phone works now on sprint but I got some traces from uscellular tho.
And unlocking the bootloader is no go for me just won't unlock.
Hi, I recently bought a used HTC EVO 3D, it was running on stock rom and i used a GSM connection on that. on switching on wifi it gave me OTA for ICS 4.0.3 which i installed and was working fine. later i unlocked it rooted it and installed recovery even. tried installing a custom rom and now it is in boot loop. I want to switch back to its stock ROM.
Now the problem is that i live in pakistan and this cell reached here after unlocking network code, i dont have its box so dont know which cellphone service company it was on, there is no print of any service provider on the body of set as well, I just have its IMEI, S/N and P/N thats it.. so can someone guide me that which RUU i should download for my set... i remember when i was unlocking it, it was on HBOOT 1.53. i even dont know its an GSM model or CDMA... but i know i was using GSM on that
Did you make a nandroid backup after installing the custom recovery?
Does the phone have a sim card?
It's probably gsm since you are in Pakistan and since its network unlocked I don't think it matters which ruu you choose as long as its the gsm version. I might be wrong though, I'm cdma.

No that was my mistake that i didnt backup that. yes phone has sim card and it was working previously. I have tried three different RUU but all of them said incorrect RUU version. now i dont know which one to download from that long list
http://www.filefactory.com/file/2hw...00U_11.25.3504.06_M_release_262714_signed.exe
have you tried this RUU? the unbranded phones in pakistan usually come from europe. i think this should work.
relock your bootloader first though
Hey so here's my situation:
Installed the CM Nightly on my AT&T One M9, didn't like it, so I tried to revert to stock. I didn't want to pay $25 to S-OFF so I just tried installing various RUUs, but none would work. I read somewhere that I needed to relock my bootloader in order for the RUUs to work, so I did that, and now my phone just boots to Recovery Mode. I've tried installing AT&T RUU 2.6.502.16 (which didn't work because my phone is on a more recent firmware) and reinstalling 2.11.502.18/flashing its 0PJAIMG.zip (which didn't work because it's apparently broken). I've even tried installing T-Mobile's 2.11.531.19 RUU, which of course didn't work because my CID doesn't match and I can't change it because I'm S-ON.
I realize I went about this very badly almost from the start--no stock backup in TWRP, etc. This is my first Android phone so I've been learning this as I go and I was a bit sloppy.
I'm pretty sure I'm screwed, at least until a new update comes out or the current AT&T RUU is fixed, but I'm wondering if there's something else I can try. Any ideas? Thanks.

I do not have this phone... but...
I would go thru the bootloader unlock process again... reflash twrp...
And then probably flash the viper ROM... since it's modified stock
my at&t variant of htc m8 doesnt connect to wifi.
i bought it from a friend.
it searches and scans the wifi networks but doesnt connect to it and it seems the range is low too coz i have another m8 and it catches 3 bars in the room while this one catces only 1.
mobile data wasnt working before as well. i installed new viper rom and the data started working without any effort but wifi is the same. i couldnt connect.
this problem was before i even flashed a custom rom.
All I can think, is RUU back to stock (or update, as the case may be) and see if the issue persists.
okay ill try..
can someone plz guide me? link to a thread? where i can find ruu?
also, i have now bootloader unlocked and custom softwre.. can i still flash ruu?
can someone plz guide me?
i m now on custom rom with s-off and bootloader unlocked
i have a backup of stock at&t stock rom (wifi wasnt working ....nor mobile data) which i had backed up before flashing custom rom (after which mobile data started working but wifi problem still persists)... soo after restoring the stock rom how should i update it? and of course i couldnt update via phone coz wifi wasnt working... so if i find a stock update flashable file on xda should i flash it straight away? what about the radios? and should i relock the bootlaodeR?

That's a lot of questions, most of which aren't relevant to my previous recommendation (RUU - which is not the same as a stock ROM backup).
You can find links (and more info on RUU) to AT&T RUUs on my Index thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2751432
Latest RUU for AT&T is 4.28.502.2, and you fill find the download and instructions on how to run it near the bottom of the HTC support page linked for RUU 4.28.502.2 on the Index.
You'll need to relock the bootloader in order to RUU with the command: fastboot oem lock
RUU 4.28.502.2 will return you to a full stock image, and the latest official software available for the AT&T M8. Hopefully, this will help your WiFi issue as well.
Make sure you don't have any apps installed that would mess with it. I had one app that no matter how many times I tried to turn off my wifi it kept. It back on
