I've been searching and I see that multiview allows you to add different apps to the list when you press the edit button.
But there are no other apps there. All I have are the 7 that it came stock with. "Gallery, email, internet, Polaris, video player, messaging, and S Note"
How are you guys adding other apps to it?

Those are the only stock apps currently supported on the Verizon Note II I was really hoping to see YouTube, Chrome, Twitter, and Gmail in there, but nope. If any 3rd party apps support multi-view they will appear there to add.
The real problem is therr are. Other apps that are supported like google maps, google talk and voice that do not show up. Neither verizon or samsung advance support was helpfull.
When does the next update come out? Think other apps will get supported then.
Don't think there is a way for you to add the other supported apps.

hi i just got the SGS3 last night and i have a few question i can't find answers to:
1- how or where do i go to download new widgets? app store only lets me see new apps, music etc.
2- is there a way to get notification for gmail so i see the (number) of new emails?
3- how do you sync music to android ? and fast way?

1. There is no category in the Play store for widgets. Go to the Android App section and search "widget". This will bring up a list of widgets, but be aware that some only work with certain launchers.
2. (Assuming you've already set up your account) Click on the Gmail app, then click on your account, check the box for Email Notifications.
3. I uploaded my music to Google Play. You can stream from there or you can make your music available offline. I'm not sure how others handle their music.

To expand on the answer to #1... a lot of apps that you might install include widgets. For example, if you install Facebook, you'll find a Facebook widget in your drawer. In fact, this is how most widgets come, as part of a larger app. Some widgets come as a standalone (the ones you might find by just searching "widget")-- things like settings toggles and such -- but most come with apps.
And regarding #3... I use Google Play Music as well. It's fast and easy.

3 - if you have mp3 files, just drag and drop in windows. that's what i do. i don't think any other methods would be simpler than that.
I searched and couldn't find any other discussion of this.
I use QuickPic because it has always been way better than the built-in gallery app, but I noticed that on my DNA I don't get the "messaging" option when I hit the QuickPic share button. I can share via facebook, gmail, and about 6 or 7 others, but not via messaging or mms.
I then tried a few other gallery apps on the play store with the same result -- messaging is not an option when I try to share a pic.
It works fine if I use the built-in Gallery app.
Is there a fix for this or is this a limitation of sense or gb?

I noticed this as well, I'm presuming this is due to Sense as it worked fine on my Galaxy Nexus.
It sucks not being able to send photo's from facebook via text. Anyone found a solution to this problem?
Hi! I'm running MeanROM currently, might switch soon, been thinking about Smooth Criminal.
The ROM came with the "people" app, but it's broken; the join option does not show up, so I can't combine duplicate entries, which is annoying. Is there a newer version of People I can find someplace? Can I use the Contacts app instead? Is there a place to get that? With ROMs that have a working 3D camera, what are my options?
My preference is for something that will not try to sync contacts with google, facebook, memotoo clouds, or other places not under my control...

Hi, you can delet them whitout any problem.I think the google photos will be deleted when you delete hangouts or gplus..

as long as you didn't delete playstore
I just had to uninstall/disable Google+ app to get rid of the annoying "Google Photos" app. I think the "auto awesome" is feature is f****** stupid. I just spent an hour crawling through my /system/app directory looking for the package to delete as root, after I found out that it wasn't easily disabled/uninstalled like any regular app.
I can't wait until Ubuntu mobile is more stable. When it is, I am ditching Android. I'm tired of how companies like Google, Amazon, Facebook, etc., all want to snoop on every bit of your private photos, emails, text messages, etc. They all want to be your "one and only" application, and that's unrealistic.
Sorry, I'm a bit annoyed right now. I don't mind Google+ as a social platform, but I do think it was stupid of them to force their stupid photo **** onto the whole world by making it a mandatory part of Google+ mobile app. Screw that...I will just use the mobile site if necessary.
Certain phones can bootloop if you uninstall the wrong Google apps. You should always ask what kind of phone and update before saying everything is ok. It is rare, but some LG phones will soft brick with the Security Error if you uninstall typically innocuous looking Google apps like Google Books.
Hi as the title says it.
The scrolling screen capture in the built in capture+ feature does not work an all scrollable apps. i tried in chrome its working fine but e.g in inbox it is not working. same in google photos or plex.
anyone also sees that or knows why?

i have no idea. but i have looked in the playstore for apps with similar functionality and it seems many of them are for browsers and such. maybe not every scrolling is the same in every app. samsung did this pretty well; worked with every app.
