Yeah where my Thunderbolt averages anywhere from 15-30mbps my brother's Note 2 averages 32-45mbps download.
His upload has yet to spike above 15mbps though, mine is consistently about 10. His consistently 12. Great device I wish I had one

So at first I didn't think there would be any 4G where I live, so I was testing the 3G. I live on the northern border of Maine and Canada, not to mention the fact that there is only one 4G node in the entire state. Apparently I can pull 4G from Canada.. DAMN this connection is fast.

At home I am getting 15/7 .

Very nice "feaux" g speeds (HSPA+)

Whilst waiting for a friend, I decided to run a few speed tests.

I can wait for LTE
Those are nice. The highest I've gotten here in MS is 10MB.
I max out at 9000 down and 1200 up here in NorCal, that includes the counties of Mendocino, Lake, Sonoma, Colusa, Glenn, Tehama and Shasta.
yeah here in Ohio I have hit as high as 12.68Mps down and 1.2Mps up.. although it seems if I have the higher down speed i get slower up speed. for instance if I hit around 5 or 6Mps down I get over 2Mps up but if I get 10+Mps down I average around 1.2up... kind of strange

Getting LTE in non lte area

Okay so it done it again an while typing. It happened 2 weeks ago. It only happens between 11pm ans 7 am in the mornings. Don't know if it happens past 7am. So would they be testing it here? It says I'm not roaming under status. But it doesn't say I'm on att. It shows number instead of att look at screen shotbbelow. And it will go into lte when my phone is dormant. But when i go use the phone or internet it will sit there for a few sec tthen drop to 3g. This area just got 3g from edge a few months ago. So I'm sure they wouldn't be already testing lte here. Its a very small town.

No idea

To me this seems slow, I never got involved in speed test. I am inside in an area with bad reception. The one at the bottom is before the speed adjustments from another post. The one on top is with the adjustments made. Does this blow chunks?

Well the good news is you made awesome gains by making some adjustments.
As for speeds, your now getting decent 3G speeds (or "4g HSPA" speeds). Obviously this isn't 4G LTE speeds, as those tend to be in 20's, but even that varies greatly by location and time of day.

[Q] Problem with T-mobile 4G speed..

I have 2Gb unlimited data plan, currently used about 500Mb..
The 4G speed is so slow, I called Tom CS, they said its the tower's problem, and wanted me to wait for two days..
The following pictures are the results of Speedtest..
The download speed that more than 5Mbps is tested in Manhattan, NY.. Others are tested in my area, Elmhurst, Queens..
I am wondering if this is my phone's problem..

Hey man if it helps I had that same problem, T-Mobile is updating their tower in a ton of places including underground work. Had that exact problem on my s2 for about 4 days.

Northern CA has the LTE.

I was on my way home from work yesterday and noticed I had 4G. I was leaving the San Jose area.
Then tonight I was at dinner and noticed I again had 4G. I live ~90 miles north of San Jose.
It is fast.

I have had all three EVOs. This is the first one to get 4G in my home town.

OP, please search as there are a few LTE threads already and we can't have one for every area pop up as their own thread in here.
To all the ppl that posted things such as "in b4 the lock..." you guys should just take that time to report the thread instead of posting nonsense like that as it helps no one in the end.
