as title says, i'm using GalaSih kernel and it don't have any volume increased,,
is possible to make it louder in speaker and headphones?
thanks a lot
I have no experience with Galasih. Siyah kernel lets you tweak both speaker and headphone volumes using STweaks. Perseus kernel lets you do the same via init.d scripts
Edit the default.config file in root/etc there is an app in the apps/themes thread called gvm I think that works a treat too

What you are experiencing is a known bug.
Use Extweaks + DSP manager to boost headset volume.
Some third-party music and video players have hyper volume boost for headset

Oh, IT WORK! Thanks for all!
Hi U all. Im in a hurry
Headphone volume was perfect until yesterday when I connect my S2 to ax external speakers, everything fine but today a noticed Ive lost volume but in only 1 headphone speaker.
So I tried other headphones but with same resoults; after that I plug to the external speakers again but, after that I used the headphones and rigth now volume is almost cero.
SO: volume with external speakers partially work (not as loud as before)
volume with headphones is almost cero (al maximun)
I´ve flashed a stock JB rom but problem remains. I also flashed dorimanx kernel and, stweaks helped just a little bit
Im affraid Im in front to a hardware issue
Any suggestions for me ??
Thanks
I've heard of everything from xloud to Alva to beats bit for the longest time I've used volume + but I'm wondering how many users use which one more or maybe which one is the best for our device....I was looking for loudness and clarity
Sent from my LG-P500 using Tapatalk 2
if u r in ics or jb use acid engine (google it) otherwise beats or dspmanager
and press thanks
Yeah I flashed the acid engine 5.0 and now all I'm hearing is a static TV sound as if you've changed a station....even when I'm trying to change a ringtone
Sent from my LG-P500 using Tapatalk 2
2.Flash it in CWM
3.Wipe dalvik cache
4.fix permission in recovery
5.reboot your phone
have u done exactly like this the first step is nan backup

Strange, what exactly did you flashed and you modified build.prop
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda premium
Take a look at the screenshot....
Sent from my LG-P500 using Tapatalk 2
No build prop modifying, the result after following the installation is every sound sounds like a static TV station..no sounds work just a static sound..I've done it twice, the first time I didn't make a BU but thab I did after a clean install of hephappy final cm9
Sent from my LG-P500 using Tapatalk 2
For me it was worse, I modified build.prop, installed the universall and the modified dsp manager, clean install, removed dsp before, etc and all I had was a very noise sound like when switching radio stations , If I remember correctly, I tried it on hephappy's genetics 9.1.3

so now as everyone is experincing problem give dev a logcat as he said in his thread
I'll get the logcat to the dev but I'm pretty skeptical on dev reply.. I'd rather find out myself but since I have no computer than that idea is completely pointless...guess i ll just go back to volume+

Not much gain. Use viper 4 android instead and set output gain to +6.0db to get loudest sound possible.

Tested on CM11 and on 4.3 stock rom:
Improvement seen on Sony rom but not really on CM...
You can also use Williams or Doomlord's kernel , depending on the ROM you're on, and install Fauxsound
You can literally blow your speakers so be careful when increasing your volumes.
I'm in stock 4.3 build 205 ..
In fact I find the files named snd_soc_msm_2x_Fusion3
Located in folder system\etc\snd_soc_msm ..
I used to successfully edit in xperia m in jb 4.3 but in xperia sp can not ..
Hi guys,
I see in every thread of Cyanogenmod based rom the users say that there is a low volume.
Soooo I found an app who boost the volume x2! For me it works very well !
Instructions :
~Download the app here :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.omegacentauri.SpeakerBoost
~Open it, go to the settings and set maximum allowed boost to 100%
~Enjoyyyyyyy !!
ATTENTION : PLAY MUSIC WITH THE VOLUME AND THE BOOST AT 100% FOR A LONG TIME WILL DESTROY YOUR SPEAKER...!
¤If you have the sensation that it doesn't work, re open the app to be sure that it is in background !
Don't forget to hit thanks button if I helped you
Didn't work for me.
Tested on various YouTube videos using CM9-FXP216 no difference.

Boost won't work for me (Upgraded from clean install CM 10 FXP228 to FXP 230).

Make sure that the application is in background

Sorry was in holiday till now, and had no internet
It's pretty easy download the .apk: http://www.mediafire.com/download/7t1c73wsz4qiygu/ViPER4Android_FX_2211_en.zip
and move it to /system/app and set right permissions.
Then reboot and open the app. A window will pop up, wich asked you if you want to install the drivers.
Click yes and choose CortexA9/15 with NEON.
Then reboot. you need to choose Viper4Android in sound settings, under effects to make it work.
You can run it alone (recommended) or with other sound mods (for this choose compatibility mode)
Hope it helps you

The Kernel you are using has 2 Sound Engines (Scoobydoo and Wolfson) and they are not the same as Viper4Android. I use the Googy Kernel too and Viper4Android parallel to the Scoobydoo engine. Viper4Android enhances the Audio Quality a lot.
