Hi , I have upgraded my Xperia U to ICS ..everything is working fine except camera quality, no notification sound, battery drains faster...
i can live with poor camera and battery performance ...but getting no notification sound is quiet annoying for me...i have done everything that i could do(repaired thousand times using SUS,PCC)..but no solution...can anyone help me? plzzzzzz.

yes...
when I was stock rom... I had no notification sound for messages...which was annoying ... so I changed the rom.

Go in messages press settings softkey than select notification tone and for battery and camera you can try brains rom

tried and tired...i get notification sound for some period of time but when i call someone and hang up the phone, no notification sound i get...i have to restart my phone every time to get notification sound..

I had french ics before official indian ics...i have done everything that I could do..now I want
to flash the brains rom. Is it safe to flash that rom?i don't want to unlock my bootloader.plz

Yes its totally safe but do a backup you will not regret

Hi every one. I have Installed The Official Rom And I Got The Error When I want to Use Camera That Says: " unkown error ". I Dont Know How To Fix That.
I Formatted My SD Card But It Doesn't Work.
I Tweaked SDcard Read Cash to 4MB But It Doesn't Work.....

did u test earphone in service test? if is not working well there, it must be a problem with the phone

Actually whenever I flash Rom( stock Rom)... I receive notifications with ringtone..
But after 20-25 mins....my notifications come but without sound & led light.....I've tried all kinds of stock Roms available...all have that probs.....so can anybody help me in solving this issue
Also is this an issue with hardware or software??

Custom roms are also based on stock roms so they might also have this bug.
Try cm9.Maybe it has no bug.

Why don't you try to use illumination bar notification?
I think led bar is more comfortable for notifications. Just my opinion mate

you're on JB ULTIMATE ROM V11?
+1,i also faced this problem,because of insufficient ram and it will dissapear while typing...and sometime back very fast,sometime back after 1-2 mins...
Tried using others keyboard,same.
So i decided back to ICS ROM

Use stock rom bro I recommend b.1.100 with tweak build.prop. I never have any call delay but sometime maybe I got 2 or 3 second delay.try it bro

I use the one from JDWalker here the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2226899 try it .Lots of tweak and I can play 720p video with no lag and 1080p with lag
