Okay, so I blew this off the first time it happened, but it has happened two more times.
I am rooted and unlocked still running stock. I turned my phone of and then when I turn it back on it get the LG splash and then it goes black. It's like it's hung. I have to hold the down button and power and I get a fastboot screen. Then I can hit power again and it boots normally.
Any ideas?

I have only rooted, unlocked, and applied the fast dormancy change.

How did you apply the fast dormancy fix? Command line? If so, revert back to original and then use the apk to fix the fast_dormancy.
Sent from my LG-E970 using xda premium
I did use the command line. I will revert and try the apk. Out of curiosity what difference does it make?

you can flash the new clockworkmod recovery touch from inside your rom manager app. costs 2 bucks inside the app but well worth it. you will no longer need the volume down. everything is touch and scroll after

If its a bright light then it seems your not bricked and have the possibility to fix your phone.
What i would first do is try the command i gave you when you do have access to fastboot/adb
Okay, the problem is I can't access my bootloader if I did I would return to my stock or flashed the boot.IMG that's why I'm asking is there a way to turn on my phone or to access my bootloader in my case
Sent from my GT-P7500 using XDA Premium HD app
maybe the problem is in battery, can you find another to try, just to be sure...

I know that. And thats what im trying to tell you.
The command
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
will make your phone go into your bootloader without using the power + Volu down buttons.
but your saying you dont have access to the fastboot or adb files?
I actually thought of that but unfortunately I don't have any extra batteries but I will buy when today.
Just in case the problem wasn't with the battery what should I do??????

Let me know if it worked.
and make sure you have the adb file in the directory.
It's happening on a couple apps, they don't seem to sense that I'm holding the phone in landscape. I've cleared cache and I've done a soft reset. Running the base 7.3 with no other problems. Any ideas?
Thanks

Did you happen to have flashed Nocturnal mod ?
I flashed it, didn't like it so I tried to restore. Got an MD5 error so I had to flash the base again to get rid of the nocturnal mod.

I had the exact same happen to me, tried everything I could think of to fix it. Finally had to use lgnpst to restore, then reroot unlock and flash base.
I think I'll just wait to see if the next rom fixes it if that's the case. Does anyone know if there is an option to calibrate the sensors? I've looked but haven't found it

Under display in system settings, the last option but it will not help. You can be up and running in no time, lgnpst doesn't wipe data and there is an automated install script. Once you have everything downloaded it runs in few minutes.
I'll try that then, thanks

I know that, when ever i do that though, after a couple of seconds the bootloader will restart too, thats why i cant get back into recovery
So you can get to the bootloader but it reboots also. Is the battery low?

Hi
I have a Galaxy Note I717 with a ROM on it (I don't remember which one I am using, I know its an aosp jellybean ROM)
Today while I was trying to send a text the phone restarted, the restarting is normal, but would not boot back up.
When I take out the battery and put it back in, the phone vibrates and then the Samsung logo appears twice. After that the phone goes black and wont display anything until the battery is taken out again.
When I hold the volume buttons to try and boot to recovery the phone vibrates every few seconds until I let go, yet stays black.
If theres anything im doing wrong or a different way I can boot into anything. Help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
