[Q] Exchange account does not work - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I loaded CM 10-201203 Nightly, but I cannot make the email exchange to work. Emails are fine, but the exchange is not working. I tried to clear data from Email and Exchange Services in apps, but there is only a possibility to do this only in Email. Exchange Services has the buttons gray. I cannot set my account at all. I can do it in Enhanced Mail app, but this app does not sync my contacts and calendar. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

[Q] Push for Gmail

Is gmail push mail? I know my hotmail account which is setup on the email app is.
But when I send a mail to both accounts, the hotmail one always arrives before and the gmail one waits until auto sync.
Im no expert on this, so any clarification would be appreciated.
Yes It has push mail. Just mark auto sync from accounts and sync. But there is a problem when using it in wi-fi connection. You can fix it like this way:

Sync Exchange calendar, not email

I have an Exchange account setup on my phone (running Project-V).
Is there some way to prevent it from syncing email? I only want the calendar to sync, but I can't find an option to disable email syncing.

native exchange mail doesnt work properly

I have setup two accounts hotmail as primary and gmail as secondary. The thing is it only checks hotmail for new mail and notifies me. But in order to get new mail from gmail I have to manually refresh it.
Any solution?

[Q] Is there an app to replace the Android Exchange Active Sync service?

I configured a new account to sync my work email and calendar. This results in me being able to use the stock email app, as email syncs fine, but only some calendar entries are synced. I've tried clearing the cache/data, deleting and setting up the account again, to no avail.
If I use a mail client like Touchdown or Nine, that apparently have their own EAS sync engines, then the calendar does sync fully.
What I'm looking for is an app that just provides the EAS service, that would allow me to use the stock email and calendar apps, but I can only find those mentioned above that also have email clients (and calendar for Touchdown) integrated with them.
I'm on a rooted Nexus 4.4.2

Exchange & Gmail on LP

Has anyone managed to configure an exchange account with Gmail on the 690 LP ROM.
From a fresh install there isn't the option for adding the account.
I have tried removing the system gmail app and exchange2 apk and reinstalling the latest exchange services and the Gmail app from the Play Store.
The account configures fine after this, but only syncs the folders and not the emails. Then it force closes exchange services.
Has anyone got it working properly?
Thanks...
I'm using stock gmail app and email app and they work perfectly.

Hi,
My gmail accounts work great. Its just exchange emails that are the issue. Once exchange services is installed you get a third option!
The folders sync but the no emails arrive!

Are you adding a new Android user profile or just an email account from your existing profile?
Email account to existing account. Looking on Google doesn't bring much joy about Exchange services working on 5.0.2!
