hey huys
my galaxy has presented some problemas with the usb port, so i want to take it back to warranty, but i have custom rom/kernel
i want to flash the stock rom again but i'm not sure how
I9100UHLPK this is the stock kernel (4.0.3 chile entel pcs) i just need to flash it with odin in the pda option? or do i have to do something more?
thanks guys, and sorry if my english has some flaws
ps: i forgot to mention i have cwm recovery
yes, just flash it with odin.
You can use the zip file if you have cwm but either methods works.
If you have problems with your USB port, I would recommend you to use Mobile Odin to flash stock ROM instead of PC Odin.
Just download the stock ROM from sammobile, open the file in Mobile Odin and flash it.
Take a nandroid backup before the flash.

i'm on my KF1 stock rom, and i want to experiment on different roms.
1) are all custom roms (e.g lite'ning, cognition, darky) flashable using CWM? (i got my CWM from flashing the mirage kernel). or i can use odin anytime if i want to flash them thru the computer?
2) i searched for the forums for my stock rom, and i found a link:
http://www.multiupload.com/U95BI5QVDL
it's in an .exe format. is that flashable too thru CWM, or i have to use Odin to flash it back if ever i want to revert back to my stock rom? isn't flashble stuff in .tar or .md5 format?
The one you found is correct and it has to be extracted from .exe format via Winrar/7Zip. Then you will get .tar file which you could flash via Odin.
And I think you can flash any Custom ROM via Odin over any ROM.
Regards.
do i flash the stock rom under the PDA tab only, just like flashing a kernel? i don't have to tick any other options (bootloader, phone, csc, etc)?

Hi
Here is the case:
I have problems on my SGS2, and going to rma it.The reason for the rma is that I have usb problems an battery problems.
So now I need to get back to stock rom, unroot an remove CMW recovery. How can I do that?
I can not use Odin because of my usb problems. So I believe the solution will be flashing to stock rom using cwm recovery (and in the same prosses unroot)? Is that possible?
If so, where can i download a stock rom (nordic version) for flashing in cwm?
How do I later remove CWM recovery to get stock recovery?
(Sorry for my bad english)

Stock rom thread or Sammobile .com .
Use Mobile Odin to flash firmware from SD card that will remove root and CWM .

Mobile Odin would be a more sensible choice. If you currently have a custom binary count in download mode and no option of USB jig due to whatever problems you're having, a long winded convoluted method of resetting it would be to flash an ICS ROM (again with Mobile Odin, making sure to use a CF-root kernel in the process), use Triangle Away, then revert to a stock GB ROM.
I won't be elaborating on any of those things before you ask.

I've been searching like a b******d for the official ROM but in .zip format so I can install with CWM. Reason being is that my phones USB/Charge port is f****d, so it doesn't let me flash via odin. I also have Mobile Odin Pro but that keeps f*****g crashing on the ROM I have installed just now, so I can't bloody change ROMs, it's extremely irritating.
Just wondering if you guys know of any because I can't seem to f*****g find one and I am seriously about to throw the b*******g phone off a wall.
You told you have installed just now a ROM from mobile odin, which is crashing, you must have selected pre-root option, and CWM injected??
I have not heard of any official CWM flashable ROM yet..
Why you *******tly required an officilal ROM, you could have selected Custom Rom?

Genuinely don't understand what you mean. I have previously installed a ROM the other day via CWM. I cannot find the .zip for the official ICS to install it via CWM. I cannot use the .tar.md5 files on mobile odin, because mobile odin keeps crashing on the ROM I have installed. I cannot use the USB on my phone either so that rules out any USB flashing with Odin.

Sorry I understand what you mean now....
Since your current ROM not allowing you to use Mobile ODIN, you have still option to flash a ROM from CWM which will allow Mob-ODIN to work flowlessly, chose any GB stable version closer to STOCK, like checkrom...then flahs Official from MO
hi.
i have note i717r of rogers.
pda of my mobile is UCLA1.
i want to update my mobile to android 4.
can i use the roms with diffenet pda? for example UCLD3?
where can i find rom for my mobile?
Rather than flash the rom through Odin, flash the CWM recovery kernel with Odin, then flash any rom you like as a complete zip file using CWM.
hi.
pda of my mobile is UCLA1.
can i use this rom with UCLC5 PDA?
Read my answer above.
You have a Rogers Note so you can only install One Click Odin PDAs for Rogers. If it is for ATT then you can't. Most likely if you hold off for another week or 2 then Rogers will release their update. Or as rangercaptain stated, install Clockwork recovery and flash any of the .zip ROMs you want. UCLC5 is an old leak anyways.
hi.
i download this rom:
http://www.hotfile.com/dl/152048801/4c0e015/I717UCLA1_I717ATTLA1_ATT.zip.html
but i could not install it from downloading mode and in CWM recovery mode.
in download mode odin show "fail" message and in cwm mode cwm show "bad rom" message.
i also download this rom:
http://www.ponack.net/designgears/leaks/9a852b4c31b6fc69908d2e2cfa479a0b/SGH-I717UCLC5.exe
but i could not install it in downloading mode too.
what is the problem?
where can id find android 4 for note i717r of rogers?
The first file I am unfamiliar with. The second file is a 1 click odin file only for the ATT Note. You cannot install it.
You need to install ICS using clockwork recovery and not odin. There are no odin files for ICS for Rogers that I have found or know about.
If you wait a short time you will get an update for ICS from Rogers. It could be any day now. Sure sounds like you have been told this info a few times in this thread already. So what do you want? An official Rogers ICS or a rooted debranded ICS? One you will have to wait for. If you want the other I suggest this.
Install clockwork through Odin.

Hey all,
I'm new to the s5, haven't had a samsung since the s2 so my memory is a little foggy. I'm about to odin flash the twrp recovery, then my plan is to do a backup on my stock rom then flash cyanogen.
do I need the pit file to flash the recovery? I remember odin being very easy but also very easy to brick so I just want to play it safe

All you're going to need is the TWRP.tar and flash it with the PDA slot in Odin.
