Anyone else' s LGOG rebooting each and every time you try to open a message from the pull down notification?
Tried to clear the cache/data, didn't help. Reverted back to gmail 4.1.2 via TBU.

I am having the same issue, however it started happening after the latest update to facebook itself. I think this is where the issue lies......

I don't know what phone you're running but I'm on a custom jellybean ROM on my phone and haven't had any problems .
First thing to try would be to clear data for the Facebook app in settings and see if that doesn't fix it. If not try to completely uninstall and reinstall it.
If Facebook is the only thing that's force closing then I see no reason why the jellybean update is really to blame. But if the above options don't work you can always try reverting to ICS and installing jellybean again.

I was on the latest stock ics Rom then used the ota jellybean update that's available on here.
Getting all sorts of phone misshaps, keeps buzzing and force closing on stuff, noticed it most on facebook but has also happened on music player also. Have also been noticing that when I come out of apps that the homescreen is slow to reload and looks like it's refreshing. I'm using stock launcher.

Try the new ota jb leak and see

Is that not What I have having done the ota?

I think that these problems are related to the last update of Facebook app. My phone is running ICS, and also have intempestive FC.

Yes you have jelly bean. But just like flashing a ROM from scratch without wiping the system first, you can run into issues flashing an ota. A clean install is the best thing if you're having system wide issues.

It's happening on a couple apps, they don't seem to sense that I'm holding the phone in landscape. I've cleared cache and I've done a soft reset. Running the base 7.3 with no other problems. Any ideas?
Thanks

Edit: now it's stuck in landscape after using the camera.

Did you happen to have flashed Nocturnal mod ?
I flashed it, didn't like it so I tried to restore. Got an MD5 error so I had to flash the base again to get rid of the nocturnal mod.

I had the exact same happen to me, tried everything I could think of to fix it. Finally had to use lgnpst to restore, then reroot unlock and flash base.
I think I'll just wait to see if the next rom fixes it if that's the case. Does anyone know if there is an option to calibrate the sensors? I've looked but haven't found it

Under display in system settings, the last option but it will not help. You can be up and running in no time, lgnpst doesn't wipe data and there is an automated install script. Once you have everything downloaded it runs in few minutes.
I'll try that then, thanks

Fixed using lgnpst. Interesting fact my phone was missing the option to calibrate the sensors before restoring with lgnpst.

Had exactly the same issue, also proximity sensor to turn off screen in call was broken
Starting yesterday I started getting this issue. Before I go to the Sprint store I figured I would come here to try and fix.
I have performed 2 hard resets and it is still happening. The funny thing is this started happening after the new year. Any thoughts?

you are right that this issue started with the new year. we think that is has something facebook contact storage. first thing to try is to open the facebook app and turn off the contacts sync from the app settings.
edit: the problem is with a contact that has a birthday on feb 29. weird right?
I tried booting into recovery w/o success. BTW I am non rooted stock.
I went into facebook settings and seleced contacts to not sync. Then reset and still same problem.
Uninstalled Facebook, still having problem. I will try another reset and see what happens.

You are kinda limited as to what you can do being that you are stock you could try taking it to sprint or calling them and see if they can help

I have the galaxy S2 but, it's the SCH-R760. What happens is when I tap the contacts app my screen goes black, then pops up the message android process acore has stopped working. My phone is rooted. It's been rooted for a few months now, and this issue just started last week. Anybody have any ideas on the problem, and a fix?

Did you flash a ROM? Or tried flashing one and coming back to stock?

I have not flashed since there is no recovery that I can find for my phone. So I wouldn't know how without that.

I had skype installed, and once I removed it my contacts work again. Why would skype cause that problem?

As Skype does request to access your contact list it is proably related to that.
You might have to try setting your contacts as a default.
I noticed in the past that sometimes it would ask me if I wanted to call contacts using Skype or Phone so my assumption is that somthing with the defaults is causing it to check Skype but it is also causing it to crash
So you're guess is the default contact app got changed to skype right? That makes sense. Whenever I dailed out it asked if I wanted to use skype or the dailer. Thanks

Everything was OK then.

So, I cleared my system cache last night and now Snapchat notifications aren't working right. Notification bar and floatifications show users username, not display name as they did before. Tried uninstalling, wiping data, cache, etc and still not working. Any suggestions?

Did you go in the actual app and check to see if notification settings are turned off?
Yes they are. Notifications come through fine, it just shows the username and not the display name like it used to. I don't know who the snap is from unless I go into the app, then it shows the display name. Thanks!

Snapchat seems to have lots of defects still of which not receiving any notifications what so ever is one of them. I've experienced this as well and only thing you can do is wait for the next update.
