Has anyone been able to install this on their atrix?

I have tried however no luck. It said that it cannot install. There are other folks who tried it on the XOOM, and other android phones, and so far no luck. Not sure if Skype has locked it to the Thunderbolt. Also you should consider that the Atrix is a dual core, so there might be voice and video issues anyway.
This would be great if it worked on our phones
no luck here either... hopefully we can get this working soon!
I tried to install this apk via ADB when i got home and my error is:

Now if we can only figure out which shared library it is, then we might be able to make something for the atrix! Just an idea.

bottom line, it will not work on any non-Thunderbolt phone running Froyo. Period. The FFC drivers are not the same.
The new HBO Go (HBO on demand) app works great on my Galaxy S, but on my Gtab (TNT Lite 440) it FC's with a NullPointerException on a call called "GetDeviceId".
My guess is this is is related to the Gtab not having an IMEI since it doesn't have a cellular modem.
Is there a way to fake the IMEI (not for any illegal or nefarious purposes, but just to have a value returned other than NULL when it's polled).
Thanks
I'm curious too if anyone can get this app to work on the gTab. I can browse etc. but as soon as I click the "Sign in" button the app force closes.
It works great on my Incredible and my husband's Droid 2 (rooted).
My stock 3588 force closes when I too try to sign in.

Likewise, FC under VEGAn-Tab GingerEdition RC1 (which, if memory serves, is based on CM 7).
Yes, great app, I hope someone gets it working!
I'm trying to video chat with someone on skype and apparently when they try to video chat it says unable to connect. Is skype working fully on the Thunderbolt yet or is something up? I'm running an aosp rom if that matters.
Appreciate any insight

I have done it with newest version of Skype from Market. You need to be on Gingerbread to use FFC though. I have successfully done it TB to TB, TB to DINC2, and TB to PC via Skype.
You both need go into the Skype app, from the main screen press menu then settings. Go all the way down and ensure the Enable Video Calls is checked.

I've done this and enabled video chat. However, when i actually try to videochat with someone (been trying with a PC), it reverts to voice only as soon as the call is connected.
Also, with google video chat, i installed the patch for rooted users to allow it to work, but all i get is a screen full of a big mess of color and stuff, plus a little box in the bottom with my video feed in it. really strange.
Running Synergy if that matters.
works just fine on bamf 3.0
Jwb
It is supposed to be released today on all mobile devices at $4.99 US. The photon is one of the supported devices. When it shows up for purchase I will be getting it

Running great on my MoPho and I/O gtab. You can go to the market on you computer and send it to your MoPho , that's what worked for me
photon with cm7
The game started up and downloaded the extra files but now it wont display anything then force closes. I'm running cm7 with the new 1.4 oc kernel. Any ideas?
So i uninstaled and reinstalled the game and works perfect now. I remember the first time downloading the extra files there was an error of some kind. No error on second try tho and works great.
I first had a problem where my internal storage was full but instead of saying so while trying to download the extra files, it just says no internet connection could be found. After clearing up that issue, the extra files downloaded but I am met with a black screen upon running the app. If I press the back button a message appears on the screen asking me press back once more to quit. I restarted my phone and it did not help. I cleared the app data and I'm currently downloading the files again.
Unrooted Stock Photon with all updates.
*Edit* Someone in the below thread said their issues were resolved by installing over wifi instead of 3G, which is what I have been trying. I will try installing over wifi tonight.

looks surprisingly well, controls are pretty good, although when driving the car the left and right steer are really sensitive but i didnt really mess around with the settings yet but looks 10 times better than it did on my ps2 when it came out. a classic
The game runs great for me, running rooted/unlocked CM7, but I'm having issues with the sound - not getting any at all. Anyone else have that issue?
anyone know what to use for wiimote controls?

I can't find it on the market for mt phone, but inly I find ir and get the same errors about it not being compatible as well.

I just installed it on my Transformer and pulled the apk, runs fine.
Has anyone made a sixaxis work for controls?

Did it show up in the market when you manually typed it into your photon after you pulled the APK?
I'm wondering something....

Nope, used a link to get to the app page in the market and it gives me the same incompatible message.
For whatever it's potentially worth for other problems, I solved my sound issue by simply uninstalling, re-downloading, and reinstalling the game. I assume some file containing the audio quietly failed to get properly downloaded.
if you are using jokers skinnyrev2test2, you wont be able to see it on the market however once you change rom's ( to lets say cm7 ) the market will see it just fine..
I have been using Tasker for over a year now on my Atrix and would love to load it on my touchpad, but it appears it is not suppported according to the Android Market. Has anyone gotten it to install? Is this just a matter of the Market or the app creator not being caught up with the dev done on the touchpad?
Maybe copy your tasker apk form your Atrix, than use it on TP?

Sounds almost too easy, if I could only find it on my phone I would... Anyone know there it would be stored by default when downloaded from the Market?

You can use an app called bluetooth file transfer. Once paired theres an option to send apps from your phone to the touchpad. It works great...

/data/app/
You can just email it to yourself and install from the attachment.
If you can't find it that way, you can download app monster, and manually make a backup of Tasker, then navigate to app monster folder and email it from there. This is what I do when apps dont show in the market. Hell, Im bored ill try right now.
and yes Tasker works beautifully.

It shows up in the Market from my TouchPad for me. I've had it installed since the first day I switched over to CM7, but I haven't really done much with it, except to verify that it does recognize events and execute tasks.
So I tried coping it from my phone, but when I ran the apk it wouldn't install on the touchpad. In the market my device is greyed out unfortunatly, I am using MIUI... Guess I will have to try the backup route
Maybe a MIUI vs CM issue?
