You have to flash the kernel present inside the rom zip.

those rom which has a kernel included in the zip means u have to use that kernel. roms that do not have kernel in zip can be used with compatible kernel depending on the base of the rom

yes. that blurring camera problem is because of using ICS and ICS will reduce the performance and battery life.
try hybrom v15 or latest stock GB rom with x kernel. better performance and better battery backup

Hi all I'm from x8 forum, how i can install jelly bean on xperia mini pro(mango). When is it possible the easiest way and step for step guide.Thanks.:fingers-crossed:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1879982
There's no official jb for mango sadly. But there's an unofficial cyanogenmod 10 with some of jelly bean goodies for our device and a lot of ported rom over the dev section.
I recommend for you to take a look for sticky thread regarding flashing custom rom.
Basicly all that you have to do is unlock your bootloader, flash the kernel and flash the rom in clockworkmod.
If you encouter a problem, don't hesitate to ask question. There's a bunch of good folks around here.

It's not like CM10 is fully stable as there are some minor bugs...
Most bugs have been fixed for 2011 devices (see fxp changelog) ... And FXP team is working hard to provide a stable JB:thumbup:
According to my point of view, FXP 147 is the most stable version... With FXP kernel attached in download zip file...
But you can try MESA 2.3 or DDS kernel for a better battery life

I tried to download the leatest version and kernel of the rom ,but can't find the links.
Currently I'm using cm10 fxp 147 and kernel. The rom is stable enough for daily use in my opinion. U might consider other extended kernel e.g mesa or dds.
Bugs include front cam not working, soft button light and a couple of people experience bad battery drainage.

Android Open Source Project (AOSP) is stock Google android with no modifications
Cyanogenmod (cm) is a custom rom that wants to bring the latest android version to as many devices as possible

The obvious combination is LegacyXperia Kernel (based on nAa 3.4, much improved) with LX Rom (10.1 is quite stable, 10.2 is bleeding edge, unfinished).
Or the LX kernel with any Rom that is based on Mike's LX Rom (like PACman, for example).
If you want to run 10.0 Roms, try the nAa 3.0.8 kernel. It's a bit buggy and not maintained anymore.
3.4 kernel with 10.0 or older Roms will not work AFAIK.
Guys, someone reported that nAa kernel does not support usb otg??????
Gosh, why cant they have a fully functional kernel. Im currently on New Divide rom. And i dont wanna use Lupus because of its wifi disconnection. So what should i do? Btw i want usb otg.

What have YOU done to help with the kernel?
You sound like you got less than you deserve; how much do the developers owe you?
You should probably go back to a stock kernel, they are almost feature complete.
