I've had a search on the forums for the answer but I mustn't be wording my search properly.
I have an HP Touchpad running Cyanogen and logged to Google Play with my usual username. I've just installed Cyanogen on my Xperia Arc and logged in with the same Google Play username - now my phone has started downloading all the apps that are on my Touchpad.
Can anyone tell me how to stop this happening please?
I guess I should mention that when I had Cyanogen on my Touchpad and stock on my Xperia Arc the two devices were treated separately and I could have different apps on each one. I'd really like them to be treated separately again.

This might be really stupid but Launcher Pro has expired and I can't install any of the new files. I am using shubcrafts android build btw.
Is there any way of installing it? I have also allowed android to install foreign apps (so to speak).

Also it wont let me access anything and just keeps opening up a web browser. I replaced the android file but that didn't do anything. I am thinking of just installing a new build.
a coworker of mine had the same issue today. I'm just reposting the link from another website, since I typically come to xda to find answers to stuff like this... either manually type this into your ANDROID browser, or if you could somehow make it to this page from your phone, just click this link... from your phone lol

today my Experia X10 Mini Pro arrived. Untill now I had a HTC Touch Dual so there are some things that seem very unusual to me, hope you guys can help:
- Can i access 2 different email accounts via this email app? If not: is there any other way?
- There's no file browser, is there? Can you recommend one?
- By the way: I need an ftp-client to access some stuff... what would you recommend?
- I need a way to sync my device with my exchange server... RoadSync doesn't work (Error -1002, seems to be a problem many others have as well). Is there any free alternative?
- Off course the first thing I did was installing Opera Mini and make it the default browser. Yet i have some problems with it and would like to use the default one from time to time. Doesn't really work. Only loads the start page but when I enter try to go to a different page it always goes to opera... how do I change this?
I'm sure there will be more questions... maybe I will add them later.

I recently bought an android phone from overseas (China) and when I was trying to set it up I noticed that there are no Google Play services meaning there is no Play Store, Music etc, I can't sync my contacts or emails and do a lot of the stuff associated with Google.
The Phone is an HTC Desire 5088 (I think its the Chinese version of the Desire 510) running Android 4.1.2. I really just want to install all the Google services so that the phone runs like a regular android phone.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Also I know this may be the wrong place to post this but would anyone be able to point me in the right direction as to how to root the device? I have tried looking everywhere but can not find anything.

Maybe this is due to ban on google in china.
Solution could be to root the device and flash gapps package.
Even better would be to find a chinese forum for your device and see how those guys do it.
Use google translate of course.
Hello guys,
I recently flashed my phone and did not save my apk before.
Thus I've lost all my applications. Fortunately I was able to get back most of them from the Google Play Store.
But I miss Evernote and Feedly. I could find some APKs on various website, but I'm not quite sure they are reliable, and sometimes they won't even launch !
Some could you please kindly share the previous GB compatible version of FEEDLY and EVERNOTE ?

I got my new Moto Z and one of the things I miss is the Google Dialer and Contacts. I came across on the forum that it is possible to load it without rooting etc.
Could somebody direct me to the correct latest apk and maybe a simple few steps how to do it as I'm a bit nooby when it comes to things like that?
