Not exactly a smartphone or tablet, and might not even make it to XDA, but it says Tegra and ICS, so it might be worth looking into.

Search for "tegra" in GSM Arena and u'll see all the phones with Tegra, there's also some windows phones :3
Don't think something like this would be posted on GSMArena. Windows Mobile device would be useless.
The reason I posted this was so the developers can look into this and decide if it will be at all helpful towards our quest for a working ICS kernel.

Is there any way to.strip it down to where u get a vanilla android experience . I was watching G2x video on phonedog and damn I had no idea the Tegra 2 was capable of that. I am running greyblur and its nowhere near what I saw

Not until the bootloader is unlocked will we be able to load anything else onto the Atrix
Sent from my MB860 using XDA Premium App
That locked bootloader is stabbing my Atrix with no end in sight....
I agree I hope they crack this bootloader wide open, and I like the greyblur rom but I want more out of this phone.

i dont trust lg for solid products or support for some reason.
If you can I'd suggest contacting Motorola support about this to let them know that there are lots of people wanting to be able to do this. See this thread for info:

Good call on it now

I was looking for some useful apps when I stumbled something about this emulator for PS1 games. Does anyone here tried it on LG p500? I saw some tutorials but the phones they were using are mostly on the high-end bracket..would just like to know if anyone had made it work or if its possible to run it on our phone at the first place
It probably doesn't work with our hardware configuration

Did you try or you just give a guess about that?
Educated guess lol

It works, although badly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uO2ie6d-9sc
Keep in mind that the video is stock froyo, so it would be slower than a custom rom
Use FPSE instead. Its way faster. And by fast I mean around 2-3 times. Besides PS1 emulators runs on our phones.

Seems like all it needs, is to use headphones as an antenna

Hey they ported over "S Voice" why not Dyle tv', it is on the play store but incompatible with all my devices.
I have the GNEX and I'm sure it can handle it.:silly:
Yep needs to be done.

I would assume there is some kind of hardware component that goes along with this service, but maybe not. if we can get someone out there to give up this app maybe someone can break it down for the rest of us to try..
I read somewhere when i was trying to find the apk that you have to be on metro pcs for it to work at all

I did some more research, there is a dyle chip in the galaxy s lightray that enables the service to work. Dyle did tell me on the phone yesterday there are universal adapters for android phones and iPhones testing right now and should be released in a few months. Basically its just mobile DTV tuner that pics up the digital signal from local tv stations, no subscription fee required.

So i want to buy the XDA Premium app but then i see there is a XDA Premium HD app as well. The price on the HD one is 50 cents cheaper but that isn't my concern. I know it says the HD one is for tablets but being that the EVO 4G LTE has the nice 720p display, how well does it work. Will the HD version look any different? Better? Worse? I would think the XDA Premium would look very similar other than no ads compared to the free XDA app. But how does the HD version compare?
Sorry if this is in the wrong place but i thought it would be fitting since my question has to do with how the app(s) look on the EVO 4G LTE.
Thanks!
I could be totally wrong, but i remmeber that the iPad apps have an HD at the end of them. Maybe its optomized for tablets. But i knwo the XDA premium app works on tablets. So i could be wrong

You're right, it is for tablets as I've said already but some of the reviews are from non-tablet devices. I'm trying to figure out what looks and functions better for the EVO LTE though.
Does anyone have the HD version on their EVO LTE?

I was actually wondering the same thing the other day.

I have been using premium since they made it. I love and have no issues with it. Id recommend it.

It's funny you guys are taking about this, because I have xda hd on my evolte ,and it works great, it kinda makes me wonder what other tablet apps might work on this phone
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
Well I just bought the non HD version as there were not many reviews for the HD one and they were mixed. There was only one from someone with a EVO LTE and it was bad. No regrets with this version.

I use Tapatalk. I purchased the xda app just to show my support.

I got "Slingplayer for Tablets" working on my LTEvo. Had to edit DPI/LCD density to see it in market and d/l though. Work and looks great except the fact that the menu doesn't go away during viewing.

So I've been looking through associated threads on other phones that didn't have this available to them out of the box. So I assume this is similar issue with our phone?
Like need some .lib files and fix the build.prop and it'll automagically work?
I just really want to use it for the hell of it.
Sent from my LG-E970 using xda premium
I use it quite a bit myself and really miss it now that I'm not using my Galaxy Nexus. I am hoping that they get the N4 Rom ported over soon.
