Well, I dont hear the difference. actually, NC modes button isn't working, and the 'Set noise cancel Level' bar is not in proportions. I used it on a Xperia Mini Pro(SK17i)
here's a free app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.liberty.android.noisecanceller
and btw:

I really wish this could be done, but physics says no. The wavelength of all but the lowest pitched sounds is too short for the phase shift to work with a microphone anywhere but in the back of each headphone, and even then cancelling high pitches relies more on passive blocking than active cancellation.
(Wikipedia: Wavelength says 17mm-17m for the human hearing range)
So to implement this even for constant noise you would need to sample the sound accurately, then adjust the phase shift and volume differently for each ear, which would have to be done manually. And it would only work until the frequency changes.
Sorry to bring bad news (and yes, I did register just to post this)

I don't know all of that, but can I install this mod on CM10?
i use MDR-EX310 but still not hear the difference too
I have a pair of noise cancelling earphones (EX 33NC) which i happen to get with the Walkman A844 music player. However the noise canceling doesnt seem to work no matter what. If anyone could help me out.

i dont test that dear but if you want i will do that for you
that is free on applanet
the 1.8.7 i trail version but i dont know about 1.8.2
thanks .
i'll try this app ..
here is some advantages that this app got:
TapeMachine for Android features play, record, convert WAV, AIFF, FLAC, OGG, and MP3 under certain conditions, scroll and zoom the waveform for easy forward/backward seeking, select and export, delete, crop, mute parts of the sound, with undo support, play the selection looped, send by mail or with other apps such as Dropbox, record in the background when the phone is locked, and adjustable input gain, and automatic gain feature.
What's new in this version: Version 1.8.3 increase license checking timeout and fixed crash at startup.
i'm so sorry because i dont have that on my phone right now but i will test it by my self although that sounds good for rec some voices.did you use applanet? that is market free version do you have that?
not until you recommend tapemachine, i still used voicerecorder >.<

Thank works fine on my SK17i FW 58
Thank you
really really not working on LwW running Hybroman v1.6 (stock .62 based),
there're no volume difference at all..
I found this a few months ago and have to say I didn't like it. When music plays, the music spits and breaks, it sounds unnatural on my phone, it's clear the speaker is pushed too hard. I know you can adjust the settings, but I removed it, I'm not damaging my phone.
Xperia Mini ST15i
Audio hack for headphones.
Dear developer! Can You tell us, what is the parameter, that should be modified for increasing the headphones volume? Or can the hack be created for that?
I tried this apk, but it didn't change anything. Is it for the GingerBread 2.3.4?
AudioPara4.csv does not originally exist in my system...
works for me 100, and to increase the volume on the headphones use dsp manager, moderate compression.
yeah working on my st15i thanks

Redneck, I installed the pay app of this after reading your post. Unfortunately, nothing is working at all. (meaning within the app) I tried all settings and no results. Could I be missing something here?
ROM= Unofficial (up to date) no other MODS or software related to sound.
Also I gave root access to the app for in-call volume.
Thanks for any advice on this.
Have you tried the beats audio and dspmanager over on the development forums? It's done wonders for mine. Here's the thread.

Hello
i have been using Xperia Sola since gingerbread. it was horrible phone for it price, then come ICS update that make the phone a lot more usable. I was happy.
but... How to make the video recording in Xperia Sola ICS to record in STEREO?
in GB, the video is recorded with stereo sound. Now in ICS, the video still recorded in stereo channel but in mono sound. It's weird.
Have been searching the forum and the closest thing i found is this problem on XPeria S -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1570168
Thanks for any replies.
Pretty sure that it cannot do "Real Stereo".
on GB you'll pro find that the sound was "Stereo" with both channels being the same track(Basically Mono)
Happy to be proven wrong but I would be very surprised
Pvy.

here i upload to youtube the video on Ginglerbread Sola
http://youtu.be/ZUXwrYJxQpk
it should be online after 3 minutes from this reply posted. :highfive:
EDIT:
the video is online:
as you can hear, the sound is recorded in true stereo. It even able to reproduce "3D sound position". Listen when i keep saying "right" multiple times.
i move from near the phone, away to right and behind the phone.
guys, usually how long Sony will reply an support email?
It's been one day since i emailed them and i only got robot reply.
do i really need to blow this issue in mass media just to make sony answer my email
OH MY GOD Sony...
Confirmed SONY XPERIA ICS will make your video recorded in MONO.
Dear Sir/Mdm,
Thank you for contacting the Sony Xperia support centre.
We value the importance of your concern and we are here to assist you.
With regards to your query, for ICS updates, videos will me recorded in mono. Stereo video recording would be available in the Gingerbread version.
To downgrade the mobile version back to Gingerbread, we would advice you to bring your phone to our service centre where they will be able to assist you with the downgrading of the version.

Exactly, Automatic Call Recorder by Appliqato. I use it on stock 4.4.4.
Automatic Call Recorder by Global effect
I've found a very nice app for call recording, that is feature-rich and doesn't require root.
It's called Automatic Call Recorder and can be found in Google Play here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.globaleffect.callrecord.
As the name suggests, it automatically records incoming/outgoing phone calls in any file format you wish (mp3, mp4, 3gp, wav) and you can adjust the quality.
Very importantly, it allows you to save the recordings on an external SD card, saving space on your device, even on KitKat.
It also supports linking to cloud services (Dropbox, Google Drive, SkyDrive).
Also useful is the option to have an alert dialog asking you whether to save a recording after every call.
That way, you can only save recordings of important calls, instead of just maintaining a huge archive of calls some of which are not worth keeping.
The recording is clear and loud on both sides, I am using the app on my Note 4 and my boyfriend on his Xperia Z3 (all running KitKat).
I recommend trying the fully-featured 2-week trial, it'll certainly make you want to get the full version!
All in all is an excellent solution that, once set up properly, according to your needs, will give you hassle-free, high quality recordings.
The overall UI is very nice too.
Try it, you won't regret it! :good:
