Possible brick need assistance - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

My phone will go to the bootloader and recovery but can't go further
The phone boots straight into the bootloader
I can then select to go into recovery
I go into recovery and it says it fails to mount sdcard and internal storage
I attempt to wipe or install anything and it fails
I attempted to run the RUU but that failed with error 155.
This issue started when I attempted to flash viper after wiping paranoid android.
After installing viper the phone rebooted with the screen top half being black and the bottom half showing the white htc screen. I thought it was an issue with the kernel so tried flashing liberty kernel. That appeared to install fine but after failing to boot up again I attempted wiping and starting fresh again and thats when the error where it was unable to mount sdcard or internal storage started.
Phone info.
S-ON
HBOOT 1.19
RADIO 1.12.11.0809
TWRP 2.3.1.0
So i am looking for possible next steps to take to correct the issue.

Nvm. Long late night and forgot to OEM lock before running the ruu.

Flashing custom rom failed - where did I mess up?

I've already completed all of the steps from hansoon2000's guide here including installing T-Mobile's ICS and \4ext recovery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1619491
Now the next step I wanted to do is install CapromCE. What I did was install the "required" firmware (the link in CapromCE's thread was down but I was able to find the file uploaded by NRGZ28 with identical MD5). I then installed CapromCE through Recovery. Should I have renamed it to PH85IMG and installed through Bootloader?
Installation went fine but I was stuck at the second HTC logo (green logo on black background). I was still able to access Recovery but it couldn't load the internal SD. This was fixed by formatting the SD and I was able to successful re-install the T-Mobile ICS by renaming it to PH85IMG and loading it through Bootloader.
Anyone can figure out where I've messed up?
Thanks!
Install zip from sd after wiping should be all you need to do. Make sure you backup stock ROM in case you have to go back

ok for some reason I'm no longer able to get into Recovery. I'm getting the same screen as when I was running controlbear for s-off

You restore everything to complete stock when you flashes the ics ruu via bootloader, now start the entire process all over again, this time wipe your partitions before installing the zip file and make a note as previously stated to backup before doing so.

[Q] Possible Soft-Brick -- Please Help!

Maybe it was a bad ROM zip I flashed, maybe I poked around the build.prop with Root Explorer too much, either way, I managed to bork my EVO LTE.
As it stands, I cannot boot into any new ROMs. I've tried TWRP as well as ClockWork Recovery. Every time I flash a ROM, it either hangs up on the white HTC screen with the red disclaimer forever, or it hangs, then reboots back into recovery.
The only functional ROM I have is a nandroid backup I made in TWRP, and I can only boot into it when I restore it from backup. If I try to flash the exact same ROM, same hang ups. Once I'm in that ROM I can factory restore, wipe everything except system, and boot into it fine. It's only when I try to flash anything new that my EVO stops booting.
I've tried flashing stock recovery, relocking the bootloader, and running the RUU, but it stops on "Updating Signature" and gives me "Error 132 Signature Error" and does not complete the RUU.
I've tried relocking bootloader and re-running the rooting tool.
I've unlocked, relocked, unrooted, rerooted, tried different recoveries. I have no idea why I can't just wipe everything, flash a ROM, and boot into it.
Any help would be immensely apprecited!!!

Can you do that? I thought you had to be in fastboot to run the RUU.exe. Even if you're inside a ROM and you run the RUU, doesn't it reboot your phone to fastboot to complete the RUU process?
Anyway, every time I try to run the RUU it gives me the Error 132 Signature Error.
I had an OG EVO, and when **** hit the fan you could put a PC36IMG.zip on the root of the SD and that WOULD run through bootloader. Is there something similar for the EVO LTE? If I could RUU from bootloader or even recovery or ADB that would be awesome.
We can't PG75IMG due to S-on, as I understand it. Have you tried to Google what that error means?

Serious Help Required

My Rezound and I are stuck.
Let me start at the beginning. My Rezound was running “RUU_Vigor_VERIZON_WWE_1.02.605.6” and it was unlocked and rooted. So recently Verizon started forcing this firmware update with no way to stop it that I could find. So I decided to update on my own. I did a Nanoid backup of everything and a Titanium back up of everything. I relocked my phone and I found “RUU-build-4-03-605-2” at Android Police [Exclusive Download] Full RUU Build 4.03.605.2 For The HTC Rezound. So I downloaded it and renamed it PH98IMG.zip. Placed it on my SD card and booted into HBOOT were it loaded the new version. It worked so I unlocked my phone and loaded “recovery-ra-vigor-3.15-gnm.img”. I loaded SU from the recovery had it updated at Google Play. Reloaded Titanium rooted and this is where things started to go wrong. No permissions were being given to Titanium. I tried “recovery-ra-vigor-3.14-gnm.img” and I even tried SUSuper but nothing worked. I went into recovery and did a complete Nanoid recovery. Since then I have not been able to get anything to work. I cannot load any older versions. I try to reload “RUU-build-4-03-605-2” but it makes it to #4 system were it gets stuck in a loop of unzipping and updating.
My very last attempt was to unlock the phone load “recovery-ra-vigor-3.13-gnm.img” go into recovery and do a wipe of everything. Then from XDA-Developers [ROM][ICS Global Phone Update][4.03.605.1] Stock, Root, Deodex, Busybox, Global Phone - xda-developers I downloaded the ICS Global Phone Update Firmware and the ICS Global Phone Update. In recovery I used “flash a zip” to update the firmware. I locked the phone and renamed the Phone Update to PH98IMG.zip. Booted into HBOOT and allowed it to update the software. I instantly powered down and renamed “RUU-build-4-03-605-2” to PH98IMG.zip rebooted to HBOOT and it made it to #4 system where it got stuck in the loop.
When I try just to start the phone it stays on the white HTC screen.
What can I do to get my phone working again? Please be specific with the steps to take because I am still at the bottom of the learning curve.
One other question: Can my Nanoid backup recover the data for the internal card so Titanium will be able to recover my programs.
Thank You SOOOOOOO very much for your help.

You tried in recovery turning on Full Format and formatting "system"?
Also try loading a custom rom and flashing it via recovery and see if everything works properly
Don't use the Su option in recovery always flash SU using one of the flash zips either SuperSU or Superuser

Thank you for your response. I went into “Recovery – Wipe” and selected “Toggle Ext Full Wipe”. Then I went to “Format “ and selected “Format all to ext3”. It showed me the warnings and I pressed power to continue.
I tried to recover using my Nandroid backup but it did not work. So I formatted a second time. This time I flashed the firmware zip file and it worked 100% this time. Rebooted to HBOOT/Fastboot and locked the phone. The phone rebooted and made it all the way through setup and to home screen. Software version 4.0.3-605.1 so why stop there. I booted into HBOOT and let version 4.0.3-605.2 load and it made it to “System” and got stuck in the loop.
So to make a long story short I started all over again and flashed the ICS Global Phone Update Firmware. I verified that everything was up and running. Then I tried one last thing. I went into recovery and did a Nandroid recovery. I only selected “Data” and “Ext-card” and let it go. I am now fully operational with all of my programs including my wallpaper. The only thing I can tell I lost was Titanium Backup’s backup. Everything shows no backup and no files are frozen.
Thank you again for your help. :good:

Phone wont boot into ROM

I have had TACHYON-1.1.5 install for awhile. I rebooted my phone and I cant get into the ROM anymore. The screen is just black. I can get into recovery and reflash, but nothing happens... I cant seem to mount SD card in recovery either. Using CWM recovery.
If its easier can I just bring my phone back to bone stock? I am S-ON rooted, unlocked.

are you s-on did you fastboot flash the boot.img
Edit: And your mount issues are caused by the fact that you never reapartitioned and formatted internal sd and emmc using TWRP only

Reventech, I have a similar problem which suddenly arose on Vanir yesterday evening. I am bootloader unlocked, using vinylfreak's 2.27 hboot, and I am S-OFF. I can reflash TWRP 2.6.3.0, I can even run and get a nandroid to restore and boot, and the system works completely normally. I can make calls, connect, BT, etc. etc., but when I reboot, the phone runs the splash, then the boot animation, then sits at the black screen. I have run this now twice, completely restoring my ROM and still get hung after boot.
Utterly bizarre.
Any suggestions? Switch to Amon Ra 3.16 and try to re-wipe boot image (I know TWRP can't wipe boot) then reflash TWRP and restore prior nandroid of boot? I'm positively flummoxed.

That worked for a bit, but darn if I didn't do a Nandroid and then the unit failed to boot again. This is so frustrating.
UPDATE: Flashed new nightly and we're back in business.

[Q] Loop when trying to get into Recovery

Hey guys so this is the first time I try to throw a new Rom on my one ever since I got it last year and threw SuperUser on it (this is the thread I used, yes I am on a Mac http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2245782) . Tonight I was able to start the install for ViperOne (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2345410) and everything was going good until the end, got a message saying there was a problem w/ installation 7 and to keep the log. Than I got a message saying that I may have lost root access and if I wanted Clockwork to fix it, I selected yes. And now I am on an ongoing loop. I get the green HTC logo saying "entering recovery" on top and than the recover flashes and goes back to HTC screen with the text "This build is for development purposes only..." and starts all over again. I am able to get into HBOOT and the top says ****Tampered**** ***Unlocked*** S-ON. I tried going thru the original thread and everything but I am stuck. Can't get into recover or anything.
Like I said earler, this is my second time doing this so I didn't clear anything prior to starting the ViperOne flash, I wasn't sure if I needed to. Anybody ever have this problem before? Or can someone help me out please?
I appreciate any help guys!

Thanks! I'll start right on it.
I was able to flash twrp but I don't have an option for erase cache. I selected reboot bootloader tried to go into the recovery but it flashes a bit than goes back into the loop.
So I was able to clear the cache and everything, I just now need to find a way to get the zip on the phone. For some reason I can't see it anymore. Could it be because I flashed it once already?
And I was able to install the Rom succesfully! Thanks for the help. I learned how to push the rom in tonight and got it going. Now I'm having a problem with the Viper One rom. Have any of you guys used the rom? I go thru everything, flash successfully but after I go thru all the steps for the setup, I get a mesage saying "Unfortunately Setup has stopped" and my only option is to hit Ok. Once I do that I go to a black screen and thats it. I tried to reboot the phone but it stays on the Viper One logo for 10 minutes now.
