Surprised this hasn't already come up... It looked like flash was pre-loaded on my phone, but disabled or something as the size was 0kb. Visit this thread to download the latest apk and install no problem.

Loving my gtablet! Installed vegan and the market and im rocking and rolling with one issue left to solve. So i downloaded and installed the latest version of flash, but in firefox and the stock browser no flash videos will play. They show a link to download flash, which leads me to their site saying the device is not supported. What am i doing wrong here?
Firefox doesnt do flash. I am not sure why the stock browser is not working. What flash did you install and what rom you running? In the settings of the stock browser do you have plugins enabled, off, or on demand?
Info
Flash version is 10.1.120.1
Running VEGAn-Tab v1.0.0b5.1.1
thanks for your help!
Uninstall that 10.1, look around and get the more recent Flash 10.2. You can get it from freeware lovers if you dont have the market set up... Also, not sure about Firefox, but with any of the browsers make sure you're looking at the site in 'Desktop' mode
Got it to work!
Hey it works! I had to fool with the browser settings and install the version of flash recommended and i couldn't be happier! thanks you guys. this is an awesome community.
Can you post the steps you took to resolve this issue? Ie, 1. Uninstalled Flash 10.1, 2. Went to Market, searched for "Flash 10.2", etc. That would be helpful for other people that have this problem (especially what browser setting you had to change).
I know that Flash is bundled with VEGAn 5.1.1, but all of the sites I go to say that it isn't installed (or need higher version than 8 or 7 or whatever).
I went to the market and it doesn't list Flash no matter how I search. Shouldn't 10.2 be listed even though 10.1 is installed?
Thoughts?

I couldn't see Flash 10.2 until I did the market fix.
Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> Press the 'All' tab
Scroll down and look for 'Market'
Clear Cache, Force Stop
Return back to the list and look for 'Google Services Framework'
Clear Data, Force Stop
Now go to your Market and it should error (that's normal)
Reboot and load Market back up and Flash should be there
I did the Market fix 3 times until I could see it.
But that might not work for everyone. In that case you should look into this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1020130
I still cannot see flash videos on sites like espn.com. it just shows a picture instead of the video.
I have done the market fix a number of times and still don't get Flash to show up. Grr...
Maybe I will try a few more times for good measure or try the alternate method mentioned by Hachi2go.
This method worked on the first time when I needed to get the Facebook app.
I was unable to get Flash with this Market fix up.
To frustrate me more, my co-worked just tried this easy fix and Flash just popped up for him. Grr...
I had to go to the other thread and change the device ID in the build.prop file.
Ok! I installed ClockworkMod_Gtab_v08 and then flashed with gtab_tnt_lite_v4.40. Than I did the installed and did the Titanium Backup. I used the Gtab for about a week. All the while logging onto Market and downloading and installing various aps.
Two questions. 1. I downloaded and install Adobe Flashplayer 10 which downloaded and Gtab said successfully installed. But I can't find it in the aps section and it won't open (open is grayed out) in the market (where it has an "open and uninstall" button. Anyone know why it won't open?
2. After this flash, how do I find the next upgraded update for the Tnt or should I go the another rom like Harmony? And how do I do the flash? Just like the original flash using ClockWkMod? And will I loose all my installed (some bought) aps?
Thank you
Flash player isn't going to show in the app drawer. It isn't something you run, only utilized by the browser. Try loading a site with flash animations/games/video/etc. and seeing if it works. Not sure on the market side of your problem. It has never showed in my market no matter how many times I've done the simple fix. I got 10.2.156.12.apk from the viewsonic page (gtablet page, click on Favorites, not the link on the main page for flash) under Multimedia. Works fine for me.
I'm not sure about #2. Pretty new to this. If you mean the official Tnt, I think you'd need to revert to stock and update. I think Titanium can be used to backup, but again, I'm pretty new and just going by what I remember reading. Search around and I'm sure you'll find all your answer.

2) Bookmark the original thread and check back. The devs always update the existing thread with new releases. If you decide to change to another ROM please make sure to read that developers instructions to make sure there aren't any special procedures needed.
Can't post in development section because I am a new user, however I have a few issues with flashing the new Omega rom.
In Omega kitchen, I seem to be missing a few section, eg Mods and "Theme"
In the other thread, someone recommended to install the stock toggle bar by
"you can find it in omega app/omega v8.0/mods/statusbar toggle buttons."
So I can't find this on mine, can't reinstall omega kitchen because it is system file.
Is anyone able to help?
You can download the latest Omega Files (v1.02) from Google Play. In fact, if you visit Google Play, it may show Omega Files has new update.
The omega files comes preinstalled when you flash the rom. Not sure if thats normal but it is what it is. Now, if I go into the app store, it's telling me that it is "installed".
I don't know if there is a way to re-install it or not but I can't seem to find it. And I'm not able to uninstall it because it is a system file.
No idea if there is a way to update it from there either. Please give some pointers.
For those who are in the same situation, here is the solution that worked for me.
If you have the older Omega Files flashed (1.01), all you have to do is go to the Play Store on your computer and download Omega Files using your gmail account and the file then gets sent to your phone which ultimately updates your Omega Files passively. Afterwards, you are left with the latest version of Omega Files.
Hope this helps.
it seems that Flash, for me, is malfunctioning. If I enter just any website which has flash content, it always tells me I need Flash Player to view that content. I know Adobe said they'd drop the android support, but it was my understanding that Samsung still would include Flash in their Jellybean update? I even tried installing a Flash apk I know works, but neither the stock web browser nor Chrome picks it up.
Chrome does not pick it up since it's unable of using extensions.
Are you sure you included a complete APK (best results are from ones exported from ICS-phone)
Try an APK from this forum, you should find several uploaders.
Flash works flawlessly on stock Browser in Jelly Bean
IIRC, the .apk I've been using came from the Nexus 7 forums and was said to work witg Jellybean. I'll scout the themes and apps section and see if there's one which works.
EDIT: By the way, does it matter if the .apk is installed as a user app or system app?
For custom ROMs one has to download the google apps separate for licensing reasons, what I am wondering about is: Those provided zip files, are they created by the ROM maintainers or are they directly from Google? If they are directly provided from Google, where is the official download place for them? Thanks
goo.im contains all of the gapps.zips that you will ever need. But make sure that you pay attention to the version of gapps that you flash to your phone. If you flash the wrong one, you can easily flash the correct version, but sometimes you have to reflash the entire rom.
