Better reboot on The Base - AT&T LG Optimus G

If you get this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.scartech.holoreboot&hl=en
you can link to to the Status bar swipe rght to left (or left to right) This will allow a popup much like holding the power button on other custom devices with a full reboot menu.. Recovery, reboot, power, and bootloader..
This option is in Base options status bar, works great!

[Q] How to add reboot and recovery on power button on void echo?

I saw that there's the reboot and recovery menu available by pressing the power button on other roms. Is there any way to put things like these on void? I saw some guides out there but it only works on specific devices..
I'm flashing things and customizing my android frequently so I thought that putting these on the power button can speed up the process.
The power menu is ROM/THEME specific. If you flash a rom which does not include this option then the power setting will not have reboot or recovery option.
Why don't you install one of the theme found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=916006
The honeycomb one has working power options
On a side note: if you don't want to install themes, then just install terminal emulator from the market.
Type su
reboot (to reboot) or
recovery (to reboot into recovery)

(REQ) Reboot -> Hot Reboot in Power Button Menu

We all know about the actual limitations for the reboot option to be implemented in GB, so can the HOT REBOOT be implemented instead the NORMAL REBOOT like an option in power button menu? i have a widget for that but would be a great addition to a Custom ROM.

Stuck on Wallpaper

In my infinite wisdom, I tried to create my own custom theme, and in the process totally screwed myself.
I was using Infected 3.5 as my ROM with the Anthrax Kernel and everything was peachy. I tried to make an install a custom lock ring...and got all jacked up. Basically my phone turns on, goes to my wallpaper and does nothing else. I have a status bar up top, but it wont pull down, and none of the buttons on the phone work at all. Holding down the power button in order to get to the reboot menu does nothing. OH, when I do reboot, the phone asks me to allow access to Sense????
How do I get back into the recovery console to reflash the phone? thanks in advance
Remove the battery, then press and hold the power button + volume down. Then choose recovery, and re-flash the rom/kernel.
adb reboot recovery

[Q] Micromax canvas A116 pattern locked, SPFlash tool is not detecting device!!

My little bro drawn the unlock pattern one too many and now its locked with too many pattern attempts.
Unfortunately my mobile data was in OFF mode. So, couldn't connect using google account.
Tried to Factory Reset, with possible Select keys for Wipe Data/FactoryReset ::
1. Left and right touch keys simultaneously for some seconds (as listed in micromax website)
2. Left and Middle touch keys simultaneously for some seconds (seen in some threads)
3. Long press volume + key ( seen in some threads)
4. Or any other possible touch and keys combo...
doesn't work at all for my device.
SOS:: Any idea how to select the WipeData option in Recovery mode?
.
Downloaded Stocked ROM 4.2.1 and other needed drivers to Flash my device, listed in some threads in this site.
But device is not detected in SPFlash tool. How to make it detected?
Please Help *** Unfortunately there is no Micromax service center in my state ***

bro! u r doing it wrong here's the procedure....
Switch Off your phone.
Press and hold Power button together with ‘volume +’ and ‘volume –’ buttons on the side of phone until you get two options.
Now, press the ‘volume +’ button to enter into the recovery mode.
This will make a Android icon appears on screen, press power button.
This will get you the menu options, use the volume up and down button to choose the option.
To select the option, you needs to simultaneously press two touch sensitive buttons on the bottom of your device, left button which is for the Menu and right button which is for going into previous stage. You have to do this for about 3 seconds.
Choose the wipe data/factory reset then press the enter button (left button which is for the Menu and right button which is for going into previous stage). Now, phone will get switch off and brings to its initial stage.
press thanks if i helped u!
