http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2035106
I may be tardy to the party but did not see anything about this in the development threads yet. 2swizzle has this posted in the general section so in case anyone was looking for newer source code then what we had before. Snooped around it a bit and dates show 11/15/2012 as last date modified.Have at it devs in case you haven't gotten it already. Here's the link to Samsung if you don't feel like viewing the post

Athena Goes Underground

Hey Evreyone,
Browsing through the other forums such as the development forum, you may have ran across the thread labeled "Introducing: The Mobile Underground".Basically this site takes all the hardware, issues, news, software, and roms updates and centralizes it on one site as blogs! If you're an Athena owner you probaly did'nt hear of it till now, especially if you only check Athena forums. The author mainly aimed it "towards newer and most used devices" and cross posted to those device forums. If us Athena owners can agree on one one thing, that our phone is the most powerful and feature packed device despite it being huge and over a year old we still come to realize its still the best around.Especially with the AP Team around bringing even more potential with their awesome roms. And the inclusion of another rom chef yes ughhh irus things can get interesting.
So with this all being said I emailed the author about adding in an Athena section and by my request they have!, and appointed me the editor for this section.I will try giving this a shot to make things easier for evreyone to provide cutting edge information to the unknowing masses! I do ask because I feel this is a team effort as well, that submit feedback and share ideas and information. Also for Rom Cooks to provide up to date information on their respective projects. If anyone is interested to help pm me so this way I can list contributers and rom chefs willing to provide these updates so evreyone will be aware what to expect.
My idea is before I post an article on the TMU, post it here first so it can be subjected to any additions, fixes, and updates by the community before it's finalized as an article.Feedback is appreciated.
Update: The TMU thread has been moved to xda-devs general and all cross posting in other device forums are closed.
P.s ltxda don't worry I wont post about ur fetish's ;p
The site:

Register/bookmark and take a look as theres information about other types of devices (Blackberry,Palm) and Windo s Mobile in general.Untill I post an Article , HTC Athena wont show up yet under the Windows Mobile Category.

unify release thread

I know I have not posted too many things on the forums, but, there too many of threads all tracking the release of the prime.....can we unify it under 1 thread for everyone and lock the others? ( including this one)
i'll lock you good!
while it would be cleaner, in some ways threads about preorders from specific places might be better as no one seems to be on track with anyone else, thus the experience from where one preordered it is going to probably vary in some way.
There is a unified release date thread if thats what you want. link is incoming...
Collective Pre-Order/Release Date (Multi-National) Thread)

Does anybody actually know what source release will do?

I keep reading posts from people who aren't developers talking about how features can be added to roms when source is released, and how everything will be better with source, and how source will cure cancer.
So who actually knows?

Android N - anyone working on it for the Mate 2?

Just wondering if there are plans for the Mate 2 to get Android N....

I wouldn't hold your breath.
I doubt it. If someone does do it... they deserve donations from everybody.
Would you believe me if I said I'm still using the CM12.1 preview ROM?

Questions should be asked in q&a thread. Not development thread. And NO
Noone is working on it. There is no source code.

While I'm not expecting an N ROM... there never was a source code for M either, and yet we kind of have it, right?

Got to agree. I never thought we'd see M. Yes, we do have it Scoob. Not even "kind of". I would not be surprised if one of our very talented Devs create an N. But, this device has enjoyed more life across a greater amount of Android versions of any device I have had. Totally amazing device.

We did have the source code. They havent released the source for N. Just roms. There is a huge difference. We had the source for M. There was no M until source for M was released. Don't confuse a rom with source.

Source Code Posted at ZTE Forums?

Very interesting sub-forum for CM13 at ZTE that references the XDA thread, with a link to source code for A2017.
Is this what we've all been waiting for?

not the be That Guy, but really WHY creating a thread when there is already one?????????
http://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/news-offical-community-builds-z-t3487054
this is why some users get in trouble when trying to Root or Mod. their devices cuz they don't read or look around for things.
P.S. this have nothing to do with me creating that thread few hours ago, my point is search before posting or creating a duplicate thread
"A2017 Source" and "ZTE A2017U Marshmallow Kernel(3.18.x)" are almost the same size (569MB, +- 100KB), so either the A2017 Source is just the kernel of the Chinese model but mis-labeled, or the A2017U Kernel package includes the full source as well. (I'm not a developer, so I'm not sure which is the case)

I was aware of the thread, and no disrespect saying this, but I just didn't think it was a big deal to be honest. I figured the threads would self-regulate - my post was about this instance of "source code" posting which could be confusing if I just add it to a thread talking about the prior misnomer "source code" posting. But if the discussion continues in the other thread, that's fine too.
I know many have forum etiquette pet peeves about not doing multiple threads, but let me respectfully disagree that it's an important issue. In theory, I don't know that having a single thread to discuss multiple discrete instances of ZTE posting "source code" is better than each instance of "source code" posting having its own thread. The former is a nightmare to untangle when you want to determine whether that (not actually helpful) source code posted in August is the referent of a discussion when you're looking for that (hopefully helpful) source code posted in October. Conversely, having multiple threads is a nightmare if you have to do multiple searches. Both have advantages and disadvantages.
That said, sorry - delete this post, do whatever, I just wanted to get the word out.
Sweet! Here's hoping for some development!
Thread closed - someone Ninja'd you HERE!
