First of all: We need more information on what you did, which rom and kernel you tried to pair up, which steps you took on installation, and most importantly, which model phone you have. Just saying you get a bootloop and you're not able to repair it isn't giving us much to diagnose your problem.
Secondly: BE PATIENT!!! There is no excuse to double-post the question in a different and wholly inappropriate thread like development. You won't get your answers anymore quickly and it will only result in people being less likely or wanting to help you.

so...I have a SE X10 MP with 2.1 update1. I rooted phone and unlocked BL with flashtool. Tried to flash nAa-14 kernel, done, restart the phone => bootloop, after first bootloop flash GDX v21b, CM7 2.2.1., gingersony v05, with all 4 wipes: data, cache partition, dalvik cache and battery stats. Then I tried to flash JB by nAa and CM 10 and after all I tried to repair/update phone with PC Companion, SEUS and SUS but all methods results in bootloop the phone.
I attached some print screens with some steps

Download this, it's complete kernel and firmware (2.1 original SE generic) to flash with flashtool. It comes in at 213.5Mb, although the site may indicate a smaller size.
Put it in the firmwares folder and flash with flashtool.. Hope that will solve your bootloop issues.

Yea, I had that problem sometime back. At that time PC Companion repair worked. I Un-installed both went back to SE site and downloaded SEUS again. This version now gives repair option.
i´ll try that and post back here.
edit:
i uninstalled both and downloaded from SE but i still can't get that repair button to appear. i´ll just stick to the flashtool and the backup from SEUS i have.
thanks for the help man.

Flashing green LED

Hello,
I have a problem. Yesterday i upgrade my xperia to 4.0.2.A.0.58. At some point the phone is turned off. Now i can't turn it on, the green LED flashes.
Please help.
Did you try to restore it via SE Software?
Flash stock using flashboot!!!

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I have the same problem as the OP had.
My phone is Xperia Mini Pro.
I had CM 7.2 on it. I wanted to go stock, but flashtool didn't work.. So I extracted the FTF file (SK17i_4.0.2.A.0.62_(1251-0103)) and using ADB I flashed kernel.sin and system.sin.
Phone started normally. I didn't wipe any data or cache.
Then I installed KRsH Kernel v3.0 and the wlan_modules.
Then (don't know why) I wiped Dalvik cache..
After a while using, the phone asked for software update. I installed it and phone didn't boot. I wait about 10 mins, and took the battery out.. (USB unplugged)
Put it back in and the phone did nothing when trying to turn it on.
I tried updating with SEUS but it said, "the phone contains modified software that cannot be updated."
I tried flashtool again, and it worked! But after installing, reboot, and keep saying "Device connected in flash mode. Device disconnected. And keeps repeating this.)
I unplugged the USB and when I tried to turn it on, the green light flashed once. If I hold the power button it keeps flashing in interval of 1 sec.
*The light is not as bright as when I plugged the USB cable*
If i plug the USB now the LED turns bright green and I hear the USB connected sound on my PC(win7 64 btw).
Anyting I can do to fix my phone?
Thanks!
le fix
This can be fixed using the free debranding flash Wotan client. just google it as i cannot post links yet.
You have to create an account but this is a service that doesn't require any credits - which I would have been unhappy with. Download the flashing tool and sign in. When you sign up for wotan you get two accounts. The username for the account you sign into in the flash client is just a number. The only way I discovered this was by re-requesting my password on the web page - then it gives you the numeric username.
Make sure your phone has been on charge for at least an hour before doing this - my phone was quite flat first time i tried and it actually failed twice with different errors. Once it was fully charged it worked fine though. I recommend a couple of retries if you get errors.
Just flash it with the latest 4.0.xxx image which takes a couple of minutes and hey presto.
If you have a unlocked bootloader and you update phone firmware over the air(OTA), it gets "bricked".
Relock bootloader(Flash relock_bootloader.ftf file with flashtool) and then install stock ROM with Flashtool or WotanServer.
EDIT: Attached the file.

nood question sir,
since this would relock the bootloader,
in case my phone needs repairs, would the service center detect this???
thanks!
If you have completely stock phone(ROM/firmware, kernel, etc) and relocked bootloader, then they might not notice it.
Don't take it as sure answer, I don't have information about it, so it's a guess.

thanks for the reply,
another question sir,
i found a thread here in XDA about how to flash to stock kernel,
it says there that flashing a stock rom would also flash the stock kernel, is that true?
need your opinion on this, thanks!

Using Wotan server will leave it stocked even the kernel but it will be generic. It's kind of using seus.

Yes will flash stock kernel too cause stock rom contains stock kernel. But you can install a custom kernel after you flash stock rom.Just flash custom kernel you like, of course your bootloader must be unlocked
is the green blinking led is also the indicator for complete charging??

any one have some solution for this problem?
i really needs some..

You could try the repair option in PC Companion. It's by far the easiest solution.
Just about all the downloads for firmware for flashtool has been removed for some reason or other

[Q] Flashtool and SUS won't flash

Hello,
today I wanted to restore a CWM restore on my neo V (.587), but i forgot that backup IS GINGERBREAD. Now the phone is softbricked. Flashtool is stuck at around 13% (system.sin) and SUS also cannot succesfully flash. I googled for solutions, but haven't found any. Alsom my bootloader is locked (unlockable). I tried flashing two different 587 FTFs, none flashed. Also, should i check or uncheck the final verification? Please help me! :crying:
After restoring the backup,of GB you can just flash a GB kernel ... This soft brick is caused as you had ics kernel on a GB Rom which won't boot!
Try flashing a GB kernel .... Instead of whole Rom ...

I already half-flashed (stuck at ending flash session at 14%) ICS with flashtool so i,m afraid that won't help me.
By the way, will Sony repair it? How expensive will the repair be? :crying:

Since they can't turn on phone in this condition, meaning first they need to flash it, root will be gone after that.
And you won't do anything stupid like telling them you used some unofficial program for flash, right? .
So there is no way they will know you root it and used flashtool.
And now about your problem. Are you using latest flashtool?
Can you show us log of flashing?
And what is exact problem when you try flashing it with sony update service?

Okay, will try to flash again. The log looks perfectly okay, as usual, but while flashing system.sin, it freezes for a few minutes (at 14%), and says Ending flash session and will stay at this message forever. I'm on Flashtool 0.9.8.0, and i guess i won't try to flash it again. I'm bringing it to a repair center (is that the right word? my english is not the best). And the phone CAN be turned on, but will only show the Sony screen and then the "orange triangle and a phone" screen. Guess they won't find out about the flashtool, I'll just say that I was updathing via SUS (in fact, it WAS the last thing i was doing with my phone ) and they'll hopefully fix it. Thanks for your help, next time I'll update my Flashtool.
If you haven't took your phone to a repair center yet, try this (i had the same problem):
Try reinstalling the drivers flash tool needs to recognize your phone.
If that didn't work, try another PC or another Windows. Sometimes the problem is pc, not the phone.

[Q] (Soft) Brick Xperia P Please Help

Hi,
I'm new to the Xperia P community and just rooted my phone today. My Xperia P still has a locked bootloader. I flashed a rom and a few mods. But felt that I did not like them. I then formatted my /system through CWM. I flashed back the rom. However, now when I try to turn on my phone, its stuck at the sony kernel logo. Is this a hard or soft brick? I am unable to go into CWM. Is there anyway to flash back to stock rom? I don't mind losing all my data.
Thanks in advance.
PS: I'm 15, so I can't do any hardware stuff...

Connect Phone to your PC and try doing a repair over PC Companion or use Flashtools to flash Stock Rom
Flashtools can be found in this Thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1900172
Stock Rom can be found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2020778
Thanks ALOT. SUS managed to work for me and restore my phone back to working condition. I wish I could click the thanks button a thousand times.
