I think its better not to compare hard work of our great modders and developers.they've tried their best to provide us with a nice piece of software. the best way to find best cfw for urself is to try them all and choose one which suits u best and give some credits to dev.
As some users found lumitrix best and others said rataplan is better.
The better way is to flash and use the cfw for few days and then try another one.

Iolite had the same configuration with G4 Tattoo .
Everybody who can make a Android ROM for Touch Cruise 2 Iolite?
flying12818: No. The same configuration doesn't mean that both devices are 100 % similar. If you want android OS, you should buy android device.
There are reports in the haret discussion from people saying that they have Android running on their Iolite through Haret. No matter what I have tried I can't get this working, personally I have given up on the idea of Android on my phone, just have to wait for my upgrade to be available from O2..... Damn 18 month contracts!
Mark
Some WM devices have android running......see start screen of today....but it requies some development......have not seen any reliable attempt......perhaps somebody will put an effort in it.....till than we have to wait.

See attached thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=662289 where member Fisher 51112 announces he creates Android running on WM devices.
Is a pre-alfa version. No bugs reported. A download link is not yet provided.

No, not possible...the mentioned thread is closed sofar......
there is infact one possebility.
some kind of developer processed an app that drops your windows mobile phone in a unix-console.
with some programming developers from all over the world managed to get Dolkin (androids kernel) to work.
you can download the distro's from websites like http://www.androidonhtc.com/ (pre 2.0 android systems) or http://connect-utb.com/index.php (check android ports on download page and follow instructions)
Thanks, somebody tried this?
well, what we 've done now is:
-Android On NANDolaris(touch cruise 1),Kaiser
-Android on Haret:Niki,Touc Diamond,Touch Pro,HD2,..............
But not touch cruise 2 yet
No point in reviving these old threads. If you want something done, start a new project to get things running on the Iolite.
Closed.
Hi.
Question in title is not without sense. Saying good ROM I mean ROM that
not necessaryly has to look - it has no meaning for me it looks nice or not.
It has to work as operating system should : be stable in all situations, without memory leakages, fast as possible.
I tested few ROMs s so far and none of them fulfilled above criterias. Sooner or later soft reset had to be done.
I am full of adimration for "cookers" for their work so do not be angry for my post Maybe my question has no sense however, because base of it all, original WM kernel, drivers and other files, are simply with bugs and that is why good ROM will never be created ?
Regards
fxdjacentyfxd
Well... not a silly question but there is simply no answer.
A good rom for you may not be the same as a good one for me...
IMHO and by my experience, stock roms are often more stable but are clutterred with operator's junk software.
Be aware that, for exemple, 6.5.x roms come from other devices and must be adapted to TG01 so this can generate bugs. The same way, the more you add things into a rom (software and tweaks) the more you risk problems.
Another exemple : adding Sense to a non-HTC device is risky in terms of fiability and memory available space.
Anyway... Windows Mobile is not that stable...
My next PDA will be an Android one
I use miro 2016 . it is stable and sense makes more sense than stock rom.
I tried 2018 . it was faster but much less stable

Hi! I want to know if its Possible to use Boot Manager Pro (available on Play Store) or some other app or any way that might Help me in installing multiple custom/Official ROMs on Octane Plus without having to format other/previous ROM.
I like many custom ROMs that are out there for this mobile, I heard about this app called Boot Manager Pro and I'm very much interested if I can to something Like this on Octane Plus or Not?
Also I'm using ROEHSOFT RAM Expander which helped me extend RAM on this mobile which usually don't work on many other Androids, Currently I'm Using "Vibe_v2.0_1501_by_himura2051" ROM which is the fastest ROM I've experienced yet and i also very much want to know If its possible to upgrade this mobile to Android 5.0 Lollipop or not because somewhere i found article regarding Custom Lollipop ROM here for this mobile - lollipop-lollipop.org/2014/12/karbonn-titanium-octane-plus-6219.html, but I tried everything i could think of to download it it, but i Could not.... IS IT FAKE? so anyway I'm hopping it might also be possible to use Multiple ROMs on this mobile.
Plz HELP!!! Mighty XDA-Developers. (You Guy's are my only hope it seems)
Thanks.

1. I tried using Boot manager pro, it does not officially supports this phone. So we have to manually enter the block sizes etc. This can be found using 'readback' function in SP Flash tool. Will try that later and report the result.
2. Lollipop-lollipop.org is fake. No 5.0 yet.
3. Official lollipop update - no idea, may or may not come. And even if it comes, will be quiet late.
4. Unofficial - somebody needs to compile a custom kernel from source.

I see, I don't really understand the concept of block size, yes i saw it in lite version of this app, yup it was something like that...
Good Luck! I'm eagerly hoping u get good results, I'll also try what 'readback' u mentioned on SP Flash.
Uh-i see so no lollipop , i think most probably it won't get Official Android L Rom, But i wish somebody/anybody unofficially customizes/build any Android L ROM suitable for octane plus.

There is always a risk. However your phone has different processor so just forget about even attempting it you'll end up with a brick.

This is a message to the remaining users of the former Xperia flagship, in particular mini and mini pro. I know that you are still out there and using this magnificent piece of device. I have a question for you.
What rom combination are you guys using in 2017 which provides the phone to be most stable. Development has ceased and most of the rom links are broken or dead. But there still is some shimmering light, like cm 13 legacy rom. Also a few threads still cover mirror links.
Can you please share your experience in this thread.
I use my xperia mini as a mp3 player and alarm clock now.If you want a stable rom use official cm 11 kit kat rom.I know there are android 5 and 6 roms out there but they are heavier and not so stable in my opinion.Cm 11 works absolutely bugfree, or at least i didn't encounter any bug.Keep in mind though that you can't use it as a smart phone nowdays, a single heavy app running will fill the entire ram and make the phone lag.But still is a great phone for ordinary usage.

That sounds nice, will see if I'll try cm11. Currently I'm on radium v4 rom from karandpr. This basically is a heavily stripped stock rom, with speed and battery enhancements. Its really fast and covers all basic needs. Although it is true that apps from nowadays are to heavy. Bright side is that we can still find light weight apps on playstore for almost all needs

Hi, I recently got one of these and, due the lack of time I was without android, I know nothing these days. Could you help me out with links to root it or flash custom roms? Mine here is a Xperia Mini Pro, model SK17a, Android 4.0.4 untouched, version 4.1.B.0.587. Is there a way? Thanks anyway.

There are lots of ways, it depends on your preference. For example do you want to modify system partition (flashing kernel), you need to unlock your bootloader. If you want to flash rom only, you can maintain your locked bootloader. Basically this are the steps:
1 backup necessary data
2 root (one click or comprehensive)
3 unlock bootloader (optional)
4 fastboot flash cwm recovery/kernel of rom choice
5 wipe
6 flash rom through cwm recovery
Like I said there are many ways. There is an index thread in the development section, which contains tutorials for al the steps I just mentioned.

Radium is based on ics. Rom was working perfectly. I only had problems with a few app compatibility. That is why i switched to los 14.1.
