You issue is that for some reason your recovery image is missing or is corrupted. With out loosing everything you can get recovery back by just NVflashing the recovery image only back into the partition. There are tutorials on this particular situation in the question tread where the moderator will be moving this post to when they get the time. Do you remember what boot loader you are on?

Hey guys!
So I flashed CWM, tried to boot into it and then BOOM ! Phone won't turn on and stuck on the Samsung boot animation.
Is there any solution for the problem I have?

I guess i'll try to install a new kernel, how can I install kernel without download/recovery mode using ODIN?
you might have flashed wrong recovery which may be meant for other variant , check again you should be able to enter Download mode

Well I was wrong and I actually can enter into download mode! What should I do next? tried using Odin but didnt see any green box or whatever it should say.. ;\
So I got some news!
I installed different kernel using Odin, and the phone turned on! After that I went into recovery mode and installed an awesome rom called SuperNexus
Thanks guys, I had 4 hours of craziness trying to solve the problems I had

Hey Captain woopy i got the same issue after flashing CWM through mobile odin yesterday. Now I can access only Recovery(CWM) and download mode.
Which kernel did you flash, could you pls provide the link? pls its urgent:crying:

Hey, I'll explain you what I did ;
After I rooted my device, I booted the device and it worked. After that, I installed CWM, tried to turn on the device and it doesnt work! stuck on boot animation..
Soo...I downloaded SiyahKernel which is the most basic and for major users kernel. You can download it here :

You install ODIN on your PC, open it, and click on PDA and open the kernel you downloaded(siyah kernel), you put your device on Download Mode (you press volume down, home, and power button. you will see the download mode screen, it will ask you to press volume up or volume down, PRESS THE VOLUME UP! THIS IS THE ONLY WAY ODIN WILL FIND YOUR DEVICE!). And than on Odin you press start. Hope it helped
I was using Resurrection_Remix_KK_v5.0.0-20140130-i9300 ... and im trying to flash the latest 4.3 BTU firmware downloaded form samfirmware "I9300XXUGMK6_I9300OXAGMK6_BTU" .. trying to get back to stock ..... the phone gets stuck on "Samsung" boot screen .. and stays there.
What to do?
SORRY if it was asked before or something, i searched and found nothing.. and this is the only phone that i have ....a fast fix is welcomed and THANKS.

After flashing with Odin boot to recovery factory reset this should solve your issue.

i tried but it does not boot to recovery .. isn't it with Vol up + home + power ?? it does not work =\ ...

Isn't a original Samsung odin rom a factory rom?
I left my phone by itself for a while. When i went to go picl it up it put it self in recovery mode and now it doesnt boot up, its gets stuck on the boot logo.
In download mode is the product name blank?
If it still says i9300 then reflash your rom and factory reset, with luck that will enable it to boot again.

Try entering Download Mode MATE
Download Mode= Power + Home + Volume Down i guess :silly::silly::silly::silly: and flash a stock ROM with ODIN

Did you try to reset the device to factory defaults and wipe the cache from recovery?
hey , i just bought my first android phone and i wanted to root it , i have installed cwm recovery and when i tryied to get into recovery (volume up + home + power ) my phone returned to download mode and it said "could not do normal boot"
what should i do ? i want to root my device but i cant because it wont enter recovery mode ..

i was trying to root my phone and flashed a su binary from twrp. after that i rebooted the phone and got stuck on htc logo. the problem is i cant even turn it off even if i press and hold the power button let alone go to recovery mode.

If you are able yo boot in fastboot
Temporary flash Twrp using this command
fastboot boot recovery.IMG
And dirty flash your ROM
Or if you can boot in recovery then directly dirty flash your ROM
If you cannot boot in recovery flash it again as I told

Hi, I have the same problem now but my twrp is broken I guess. It stuck at TWRP logo and cant do anything. I cant turnoff the phone aswell or go to recovery mode.
