Been searching like a moron for anything to solve this problem. I have a dmtech 723b wich with rootchecker says i got root. But i cant use su or anything else root-related. It is original jelly bean so i have not tampered with it in any way. Would really lika to be able to do all the things possible on root and even try custom roms on it, but i cant.
Please help me!!!!

Nobody who knows how to obtain SU on the dmtech tablet 723b? as stated before, rootchecker says it has root.. but no SU-apps work..
PLZ help
Id happily give all info and files needed for finding a solution to this. This is a cheap and common tablet so i think there are many ppl who own and use it.
Managed to get partial root and su thru superoneclick, but get errors when using i.e. luckypatcher and/or rom toolbox. =(

yes, now the phone will go into download mode.. but it wont do anything else
Then we need a lot more information. What did you use to root? In other words, what did you use in Odin to root it? Which steps did follow? More info will help us help you.

Hello fellow xda'ers !
I recently tried to unlock the bootloader for my XPERIA ION and I think I managed to do it. It rebooted in a "new" state so everything I had was gone. Not sure if that's what's supposed to happen?
Well, then I tried to root with the "bin4ryv18" runme.bat.
It goes fine until it keeps on running ,so something went wrong...
Also when using another program, it says it "failed on data/local/tmp permission denied".
I don't know how I should continue from here? I'm quite a noob when it comes to this.
Do I flash something first ?

Yes but insn't that an early version? I just flash the file with the command "flashboot...kernel.elf"? And after that i'll be able to root it?
If so, can i then update to a newer version?

Please don't cross post. I'll continue helping you in the ion section on your other post.

Honestly I don't know, because I don't have an Xperia Ion. I don't want to say yes or no because if i'm wrong you phone could get bricked. But a similar question is asked in that thread and just wait for someone to answer it.
Hi guys. I apologise if I put this in the wrong section. So I want to know if I am able to root my note lte (gt-n7005) without the computer? Is there a software or an app where I can install superuser and root my Android without the computer?
Any answers would be appreciated

It doesn't work. I have to restart my device because it became glitchy after I attempted to permanent root my device.

root my phone. HELPPPPPP!
I'm new at this rooting stuff, but I've been all over Google & YouTube I have not found a root that works on my phone. I don't have a USB cord so I'm having to root it by my phone. I have an at&t huawei u8800-51 its running on 2.2.2, I've tried to z4root but I read it won't work with 2.2.2 I've tried and no use, I also tried gingerbreak & I went through the process but it just keeps rooting for like ever. I don't know what to do. I've been trying for days at this. If someone could help me, I will love you forever! Ugh.

I've got a SGP311 which I've rooted before but have problems with after a while. The rooting is successful and I can do stuff for a while. Then the boot loops start and don't stop until I do a full restore. I've searched for a way to fix this but not come up with anything useful so far. What should I be doing after rooting to stop these boot loops? Which su should I be using?
All help appreciated.

Use Sony Mobile's Update Service to re-install stock firmware.
Use DooMLoRD's XTZ Easy Rooting Toolkit to gain root access.
I use and recommend Chainfire's SuperSU Pro.

Thanks for that. Do you recommend getting rid of the other su apps then?

You should only have one SU installed at a time otherwise you may get conflicts.
I've done the first two steps as mentioned in Cat's reply and had no problems.

Thanks. Will try when I get home tonight (if I'm not inebriated. The UK has luvly ale drinking weather, I can't let that go to waste).
Edit: Things seem to be working fine now, fingers crossed. Thanks to all who helped. Next stop recovery.
Edit 2: XZDualRecovery installed tho CWM not working. Will trawl thru the correct thread for solution. TWRP seems fine. Will play with it more later.

It bootloops because the whole Rom is odexed. Im rooted stock, and I forgot that you need to be deodexed in order to not bootloop.

Hi all,
I have been having trouble finding any way to root my android tablet, I've tried many methods to root but no luck.
All I know is that it is an A13 7" Chinese tablet, I can't find the company anywhere what so ever
I have taken a couple screenshots with hardware info, Model and Build number to give a bit of insight.
Any help welcome Thanks in advanced, Hayden
