[Q] Did disable mean uninstall?

Hello, firstly apologies for asking what I'm sure is a total dumbass question but,
I have just got a galaxy s3 on three mobile, and have given up my iphone for it.
So what I need yo know is, I put the GOlauncher on then the GOlauncher task manager. While playing around with it(seeing what apps took what memory) I thought it a good idea to disable 'AllShare play" thinking I could enable it again when needed..........No it's gone totally from everywhere on the GOlauncher!?? So I have gone back to touchwiz for now, on my home screen I have a little android that says allshare play underneath, when I press it I get a application not installed notification!? But in the application manager in settings I still have allshare and allshare controller???
So I need to know Does disable mean uninstall??? If so wtf?
If not where has it gone?
If it's not installed any ideas how I get it back? Have searched Samsung's apps and play but no luck?!
Sorry for long post over something I'm sure is very simple.
Thanks in advance for any help
Rat
Hi, I also disabled AllShare Play thinking that I could easily enable it back next time. I got a scare when it disappeared from the app list and everywhere and couldn't find it at the app store. I searched online and this was the only topic on this!
Anyway, it is actually still in the phone. Go to Settings -> Applications manager -> All
It will be right at the bottom, the last app. Just click on it and re-enable it back.

[Q] S3 No longer shows force close when an APP crashes

Hi All,
I have 2x Galaxy S3's, a work one and my own one, my personal one is rooted (to allow titanium backup to do it's thing), it also has ClockworkMod running on it. It's got the stock rom still.
I'm an android developer day to do, and now when developing my app, if I'm using my work phone and it crashes on the phone it says Your App has crashed, click okay to force close.
However, on my rooted phone it doesn't do that, it just crashes and I have to restart the phone just stays with the notification top bar still there and working (clock changes and can see wifi sending/receiving) . But i can't close the app, can't use the home button etc
Does anyone know the solution to this? It's quite infuriating at times.
youtube link + ?v=3mawem-refw here's a video of it happening

[REQ] Remove the earphone icon and "Recommended shortcuts"

On the GS3 you could freeze the "Context Aware Service". I can't find anything directly related to this on the GS4. I have never once thought about opening one of those stupid apps after plugging in earphones... seriously, Reddit is Fun and Root Explorer? Titanium Backup? Why? Why would I need headphones for those? And I don't need an icon to tell me I have earphones plugged in as I can plainly see them.
I agree.. Would love be to able to remove this.
But for now just freeze the PageBuddyNotiSvc 1.0 in Titanium Backup.

I posted this in another forum, but here's what you can do:
You can remove the suggested apps when you plug headphones in with Nova Launcher. Create a new shortcut, Activities -> Settings -> Page Buddy. You can turn it off with that shortcut and it will stay off in the stock launcher as well.
This worked for me. Doing just what you want and a whole lot more. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2293956

If you go into application manager, find the recommended shortcuts app, and uncheck "receive notifications" it no longer shows up. It worked for me.

Mine does the same thing. The android OS is killing it because it is not running in the foreground. The only solutions I've read about so far are to download another equalizer until google fixes it. The app in the play store 'equalizer' appears to be a pretty good one. You can set it to only have the notification when it sees you listen to music. When you close Play Music, the notification goes away. It worked for me.

[Q] How to remove "Car mode"/Dock application from Revolt ROM ?

Hello,
I'm currently having some problems with revolt rom, "Car mode" suddenly started poping up randomly and sometimes even crashes phone. There is no application car home or dock application in "manage apps" settings, neither i can find it with titanium backup. Is there any way to remove it or do something about it?
If there is no such thing as car mode, why does it pop up?
Also, this can be asked in the ReVolt ROM thread. Earn your way into posting there and go ask in that thread. (minimun requirment - atleast 10 posts...i think)

Hiya, having this issue with my HTC Desire S, I have found that it is a problem with the USB port, pin 4 not grounding or something. I have since learned That CyanogenMod rom does not have this application so does not cause me any problems.
Also the car dock application was called automotive something, could try and remove this with root browser.
Also an app on the play market call dock no-op which also worked when I tried it using a sense 3.6 rom https://play.google.com/store/apps/...1bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5tZWdhZ3JhbS5kb2Nrbm9vcCJd
Hope it helps a bit

[Q] [Request] [Tasker] Profile to 'Disable Increasing Ring' in Galaxy S3

Hi there,
I realise I'm new here, but I have searched extensively before posting, both on here & generally on Google for an answer to this, but I've been unable to find one, so here goes...
I own a Samsung Galaxy S3, but unfortunately it has this annoying feature that can NOT be turned off. Every time I receive a phone call my ringer is low, probably about half way for about 5-10 seconds, then the volume Increases to what ever I have it set to (maximum in my case).
I really dislike this, and have been using an app called "Disable Increasing Ring", which can be downloaded from the Play store.
Now, even though this app works, I would prefer it if Tasker could do the task for me, since I already have Tasker running in the background, it would make sense.
I love the android app 'Tasker', it's fantastic, and use it for as much as possible. Having this other app (Disable Increasing Ring) also running in the background seems like a waste of resources.
So, does anyone know how I can set Tasker app, up to work the same as the 'Disable Increasing Ring' app?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
