Hi guys,
Anyone tried to use AKG Q460 headphones with RAZR? The headphones are designed for iPhone and the remote buttons do not work on Android. I read about some apps which should normally solve this problem. Anyone managed to solve this?
Never work i have the same problem with my Beats studio ...
Iphone jack have reverse pin 3 and 4, You can normally use the middle button
headset mod
you can try to apply this mod
it was reported to work, although i didn't try it myself.
I still have the problem on Jell Bean stock from Motorola. If anyone solved the buttons problem of Q460 on Razr please help.

has anyone noticed that the media volume automatically lowers (if its on high/max) when the headphones are disconnected?
this is kinda of annoying for me as i only really use the headphones jack to connect to my car stereo so i would prefer it to be a bit louder than normal.
ive tried it on PowerAMP, Meridian and the stock music player
Is there a way to stop this from happening?
SGS2 running KE7 with FD mod and apps frozen
Upz!
Done some searching but couldn't find a solution.
I havent tried this myself, (haven't got my SGS2 yet) but i wonder if Tasker can help you. Sound like it can run sript to do something when the headset is plugged or unplugged.
true but thats just a workaround rather than a solution
i was hoping someone had figured out how to disable this auto-lowering permanently
SGS2 (sprint) here and it has same problem... anyone found a solution to this? annoying as heck since I use 3.5mm exclusively for in-car's aux port and constantly need to increase volume to max on plugin...
Having same issue on Droid X CM 7.1, I'm thinking it's an Android 2.3.5 thing. I've tried using takser and setting profiles to overcome it, but I've had limited success.
Hi
It is my first post in forum.
I have SGS2 with 2.3.5 of Android.
I have the same problem, even when I don't use headphones.
Media volume (sms, email) is reduced at its lowest automatically when I receive an SMS or email notification. Then I have to kill all programs by (clear memory).
Any solution yet?

[/COLOR]List for Samsung htc sony (not sony erricson) and nokika lumia headset and headphones that work all three buttons & mic ( they have same headphone control input so the all will work on listed device )
- urbeats (not ibeats)
- htc beats solo (no iPhone verision)
- Sony smart headset
- Nocs NS200H-001
-Nokia purity had and inear
Interesting. you tried a single type of headset and say that none will work.
fyi: there are more thao 2 headsets on the market.
There are multiple methods to connect those cables. Samsung uses another method as Apple. Neither have invented their particular method and are hardware-wise incompatible.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
If i use the headphones which came with my S1 with the S3 the sound is awful! They just seem not to be compatible with the S3.
Can anybody confirm that? Hope it is not a S3-hardware problem...

Hi,. Hoping someone here can help me, I've moved from an iPhone to an Android phone and when plugged into the car I have to turn the volume on the car way up to hear it. It's the same on the Bluetooth in my motorcycle helmet. I really need the Bluetooth bit for GPS.
I've tried heaps and heaps of booster apps and different music players but nothing works.
Google has led me here.
I'm a total been as far as rooting and stuff goes so I need something relatively easy.
Phone is an Optus X smart aka Alcatel pop 4 android is 6.0.1
Cheers
Hi guys,
Wasn't really sure where to put this question, since it could be a device issue or an Android issue. But I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with my device.
Anyways, I have an LG V30 that is updated to the latest Android, which is Oreo. And I have a pair of AKG N40 headphones that I use. The headphones are Android compatible and are working on ALL other Android phones that I tried them on, that is not running Oreo.
The issue is that the volume buttons are only working for about 2-3 second when I plug them into my phone, then they completely stops working. Only the play/pause button works. I have googled around a lot before I created this thread. I can see multiple people having this issue, but no one really found the solution. I have tried to disable the Talkback app, clearing the cache and also turned off "Switch Access". Nothing helps..
Have any of you guys had or have this issue?
If yes, do you have a solution on how to make the volume buttons functional again? Since the buttons works for 2-3 secs, I believe it has to do with some Google app, but not sure.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I bought the AKG N40's really expensive and I really want to be able to use them with my phone.
Thanks!
