I just noticed this yesterday and it's happening again today my phone has been off the charger since 530 a.m. its now 1216 p.m. I only show little over 2 hours of up time? Anybody know what's going on. I did try to reboot the phone to see if that helps but it didn't fix it.

Did it get plugged in at all during that time? Either to a computer, car dock, etc.? The second the USB cord is attached to a device or charger it resets.
Nope not for a second that's why I am so puzzled ....

Did you hit refresh? The arrows located at the top right of the screen

Of course that was the first thing I did. I went from 5:30am to 9:00pm and it only showed 9 hours. I am going to watch it closer today.

My phone of late has been playing up with the battery...from a full charge and five minutes of use it drops to less than 60%!
73% is taken by Android system, I've been running on an old miui ROM for a few months..usage screenshot below if anyone can spit the culprit?

Might be a battery or kernel problem. Have you tried any recent kernel to see if it performs better?
No I've been using same kernel for a few Weeks without problem...just happened in last couple of days!

Took my phone off the charger in the middle of the night and noticed that Google maps and Polaris office was running. Drained a decent amount of battery too. What could cause something like this? Is my battery reporting wrong?

Its not battery related, its the OS reporting what is going on.

Your not seeing the 52% screen as part of the drain? Turn your screen off and most things like office won't run.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app
I do see that drain but I'm more concerned with the fact that I didn't use maps or Polaris office so why would that cause any battery drain?

I received my new Note 2 today and have a question. Can someone please tell me how to get rid of this icon?

Put your spen back. I'm pretty sure that's the icon for quick Links when the spen is removed

I have done that, it vibrates, and makes the sound when I insert the pen so it is recognizing it as "holstered".
I was messing around with combinations of using the pen. Who knows what I have triggered. I could reboot but want to figure out why this happened.
Thanks

Just reboot. It's probably just a glitch. I had one today where it kept saying I had a new text, wouldn't go away until areboot

I've never seen this before. One minute I was eating lunch and I came out and pulled my phone out of my pocket to see this

Is my digitizer fried? Should I go to Sprint? I don't have insurance and I was planning on replacing my phone by August
Thanks
Yes, unfortunately it's a fairly common problem.

Hi guys.
I use my phone a lot in the car as AUX, is there away to make it automatically go to Max volume when aux is plugged in? I never use ear phones so the warning is not an issue to me.
