When I minimise my screens, if I try to eliminate one, when I slide a screen to delete it, then the launcher freezes and I get a reboot.. does anyone else have this problem...
Happened to me also. Very irritating. I thought having page Buddy active was culprit... turns out not true. So I fixed it by going back to nova launcher

I'm using widget locker with honeycomb theme and was wondering if there is a way to replace the stock lock screen with this one due to a few force closes making it revert to stock lock screen.

I use WidgetLocket too with the ICS theme, and haven't had it force close once. It has worked perfectly for me so far. Maybe trying reinstalling it? Are you rooted or running mostly stock?
I'n rooted running adw ex with the snowball mod. I was wantint to replae stock lockscreen and not just have an overlay. Just seems like it would run better.

I find that with both widget locker and go launcher, that even if I have links to the apps copied to the system/app folder, my clock widget (fancy widget) loses the skin definition and needs to be reapplied.
Otherwise, things work fine.
Do you think putting a link to fancy widget in system/app would fix the clock skin issue?
Don't know if this would work but on my phone I use NoLock to disable the stock and Go Locker as a replacement. Might be worth a try.
There is a setting in the widget locker settings to disable stock lock screen. Can't remember where it is right now in the settings tho.
As far as the widgets disappearing after reboot, I have the same issue and haven't found a way to fix it yet.

If you want them not to lose configuration you have to move them from datt/app
to system/app and there you should give them full permissions. That has solved my problem with widgets in Go launcher
when entering and exiting the Facebook app from go launcher the app doesn't fade in or out. it just zooms in or out and disappears or reappears, on my wife's evo 4g it fades just fine, ive tried reinstalling facebook and go launcher and it doesn't fix it. maybe a resolution problem? no other app i have has this problem. all of them fade in and out just fine. been searching on and off for months for others with this problem and have found nothing, would a hard reset fix it? or just deal with it?

Firstly, I'm typically an Apex user and really like that launcher but have used em all.
The issue im having and its been a while now and again on this new S3 phone is that the launcher(apex first and then many others i try) start force closing after i get to a certain point of customization. I get my shotcuts on my homescreens. Add my widgets. Tweak settings but invariably there ALWAYS comes a point when they start crashong and once it happens it goes downhill fast.
Anyone else getting this on and off? Any thoughts n ideas?

I am using Apex and have not had the first FC. I am stock, not rooted. I have tweaked about everything that you can.

One of the first things I did when I got my Droid DNA was to install Apex Launcher, mainly because I wanted the gesture support for opening the notification drawer and the app drawer. I have swipe down set to open the notifications, so I don't have to reach all the way to the top. Problem is, sometimes I have to swipe several times or change the angle at which I am swiping in order for it to register. I have been in contact with HTC but we aren't getting anywhere.
I don't know if the issue is limited to Apex, or if other launchers have the same issue. I tried Nova, but apparently you need the premium version to unlock gestures.
My question is this: Does anybody else have issues with gestures using Apex or Nova (premium) Launchers?
Its something with apex. I just installed nova to test it our and it works flawlessly.

Well it could just be my phone, or it could be you haven't seen it YET. As I said, the issue was intermittent. Anyway, if you do keep one of those configurations, I would much appreciate it you would post back here again. Thanks for the help though meanwhile.
I did some more experimenting and I realized it may be limited to just after switching screens. If I swipe to the side to a different screen, then quickly swipe down or up before it has completely settled, then it won't go. If I keep swiping, it stays in "transition mode" and won't recognize the command of swiping down or up. The only way to stop it then, is to be a little slower to swipe, or to speed up the transition animation. Not sure why this never happened on my Thunderbolt though.
We already have a few threads on this issue but I believe I finally resolved my lagging issues by going under the display settings then home screen and changed the "screen swipe effect" to layer or just change yours to a different one from the one you currently have and see if that resolved your lagging issue.
Report back with your results because my results have been positive so far, I'm going on two hours and no lag.

nope. the lag people are reporting is REDRAWING for the most part, which can't be resolved by changing the swipe effect. it's a memory issue.

Yeah I guess so cause after a few hours the lag came back.
Another thing I notice is if you go to the app settings and choose "Home" and clear cache, the LG launcher will run smoother.

I wouldn't know because I use Greenify to keep crappy apps under control

I've been using layer as my transition effect since I like the look of it the best. It also seems to be the smoothest.
For the record, I never have experienced launcher redraw on this phone.

I thought using a 3rd party launcher will keep this problem away? I'm using Nova and I don't think I've encountered this..

It's does but I don't want to use a third party launcher.

The lag that bothers me the most is when the apps don't show in the app drawer right away, then....bang! Oh, there they are...then if you go back to home, and back into the apps it's smooth. But the first time is rather a jolt...
