Hey guys CM 10.1 or Android 4.2 has been released for our brother Xperia Arc!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2018822
I've heard FXP won't be bringing CM10.1 to 2011 devices. But Arc has got one and the testers say it to be pretty stable for daily use (As seen in the linked thread). So is it possible for it to be ported to Xperia mini/LWW/pro etc?
A) After several requests from users FXP already stated they will be working on cm10.1 for 2011
B) a pre-build based on the rom you suggested is already avaiable in our forums http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2032900
Cheers

On the cyanogenmod forums are 13 nightly builds posted...

Anyone got any idea how stable this build is?

The brightness is too much I think 100% I think it will spoil the display.
No hepatic feedback on soft keys.
Battery back up I have not tried
Anyone can comment on battery..?
Go to Development section, there are 2 topics, CyanogenMod 7.2 and CyanogenMod 9 for 2011 Xperia series, including Live with Walkman.
These are the CM ROMs, that are also on the official webpage. FreeXperia Team is responsible for building these to 2011 Xperia phones. You can find more info in these topics.
Cm9 stable
Yes! I've tried the new rom. It's smooth and fast. NO doubt. But comes with few bugs which can be resolved easily.
1. Wifi doesn't work.
2. Accelerometer lag
3. Stereo Speakers working but no xLoud ( Only for sony live with walkman).
I've fixed all these bugs and create d a backup image. Contact me and i'll send you the link.[/FONT]

Bugs on Jelly Bean:
Phone.apk not start after first Boot
Solution :
After first Boot make Factory Reset from Settings (not from recovery) than Reboot in Recovery. In Recovery mod make wipe Dalvik Cache only. Reboot and Phone.apk works.
GooglePlay not Start after Boot
Solution:
Install Titanium Backup and following these Steps.
In TB make Backup from googleplay. Uninstall googleplay and reboot phone in recovery. In Recovery mod use crazyapphelper. Than use Clean Mod for JellyBean. After you see finished reboot your phone and install your backup from googleplay. It works
This works for the most apps
Note!!!!!!!!
The Crazy app helper only works on JELLY BEAN and not work on ICS/GB. If you youse with ICS/GB it will Bricked your Phone. Make Sure you have UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER its Importand.

Hello,
Of course, we test our equipment on our roms but it is useful if we have testers test it under real conditions. Users make errors as we do, or detect errors that we have overlooked. Each user acknowledges the error helps us and those who want to use the rom later. So there are independent testers have experienced or inexperienced welcome. I hope I could explain it as best as possible because my english is not the best

i am confused with this, the beta will be public right?
do you just mean the device scope is restricted by the availability of testers?
gandhar a team working on a rom, awesome!
Hello,
yes we have recently work together as a team because we and the others were constantly faced with problems we can solve them together better. At the beginning, there was indeed only an idea but unfortunately I was ever abused as a spinner or fantast as I have given up at some point. Only the other I have always encouraged my idea to resume. The Rom that we have here is only a part of our project. As we have said no financial interests or the like but just want to contribute our part to android.
Thanks
Mike

NOTICE !!!!
We would like to apologize but due to delay problems with the DSL connection from Telekom delayed the deployment.
Telekom uses high pressure to remove the trouble it.
Our member Gerald tried to put files on a server in France ready so we hope that the delay to a minimum whenever possible.
The reason was a line collapse at a headend.
We will keep you up to date

Sorry my mood is not the degree we best have hardly slept for weeks long wanted our women to divorce already and now this.
Gerald is currently in the process the data on a server willing to make.
Screen shots are the first extent to which we can then move on I do not know yet.
Especially the first to JB files to be uploaded because I think you want the most then only ICS.
I think in an hour, we know more. I'm sorry again.

Then tomorrow is when you should have started this thread.
I am going to close it as to not be filled with off-topic posts and PM me when you have a working download link of a working ROM.
Thread closed. Merry Christmas!
I'm a smultron user,
For high end models we could see a large number of roms present (we could even make a big list) but for xperia 2011 devices there are few roms out there but they are all stuck at ICS or JB 4.1 or 4.2.
The jellybean 4.3 are very very very few.
Since the android 4.4 [KitKat] is made considering the devices with 512mb ram like smultron can we see a large number of 4.4 custom roms with great features for our devices??

Hmmm...the key word is " BE PATIENT " about it...there no Custom Rom yet for 4.4...just wait until Cyanogenmod Team release their Custom Rom first then ONLY then we can talk about 4.4 Custom Rom on Xperia 2011 devices...

Haha....before you get too excited, here is another key word for you " COMING SOON "....are you sure its coming soon as officiallysonyrebel said????
perhaps you should read THIS and THIS....
Cyonagenmod team HAVEN'T started to build rom for 4.4 and yet officialsonyrebel confident that it will coming soon...for your info, Beanstalk rom are also base on CM source code...if Cyonagenmod haven't started building it then where will any dev get the source code????
i quote....
we will continue to work on the 10.2 code branch, in parallel to all of our Android 4.4 efforts. For those that will inevitably ask, we have not made any decisions with respect to what devices will make the leap to the KitKat code base and likely won’t have that information for a few weeks

We are not in a rush to get 4.4 builds out . We are going to continue the process of working on CM 10.2 M1 - getting that out the door and onto your devices. Further, we will 'finish' the 10.2 code base, similar to what we did with 10.1.
As a friendly reminder, please don't flood us with requests for 4.4 - we all want new and shiny things, but we will not do so at the expense of abandoning the hard work our contributors have put into 10.2.
Final note, a lot of folks are reading into the "512mb" item on the release notes. No, this does not mean a sudden resurrection of older hardware, there are dependencies beyond the RAM (and CM has enforced that minimum since ICS)

I guess it is for a reason. In all JB roms on 2011 Xperias camera's quality is poor, also hard to make some stock apps and features to work.

officialsonyrebel: current update is the last update for 4.3 ... as we are moving level up to 4.4 Kitkat .. for all 2011 line up..
I again read what he wrote and it seems that he meant to stop 4.3 with that build and start to work on 4.4 when it is available...

That's from the CM post ...
It will take lot of time & effort for a 4.4 port ..........Dont expect anything this month or this year for that matter ....
Kindly suggest me a best rom for xperia u. it can be gb,ics,jb or kitkat . please provide me the link for that rom also because i am new to this thread
I was using some ROMs so I can tell you which was the best for me:
ICS: No sh1t!^2 (I have no idea how to write this correctly)
JB: CM10 LE
KK: CM11 by XperiaSTE team (which I'm using now)
Links I will provide later, because I don't have access to my PC...
CM11
Use cyanogenmod-11 by Xperia STE team. i am currently using it and it works very good and it is latest with Kitkat 4.4.3. :fingers-crossed:

First of we do not do Best of Roms here... Second you should post in the correct section (I moved this to Q and A, you are welcome), third I suggest reading about the roms and trying them out to see what your preference is... Thread Closed
