need help finding a safe way to root this device
and hopefully install a custom rom on to it.
i didnt realise it was a kirf device(fake) but i shouldnt have to suffer
How many rooting tools have you tried? There's a lot out there.

too afraid till i get a fair idea on what would be recommended, because it is a chinese phone after all although i know it can be rooted but with what i have no idea. any help appreciated
its is a mtk6575 model, HDC galaxy s3 i9300 mobile, android 4.0.4.

I followed the directions from A YOUTUBE VIDEO titled - How to root the HDC Galaxy S3 i-9300 8.6mm Pro!
I now have supersu and there is also an option to upgrade to supersu pro which apparently is more advanced than the superuser rooting option.
I also have the clockwood mod application installed along with Rom Manager
There is an option to manually install the clockwood mod 2.x or 3.x+,
I have used 'fix permissions' which has made a hell of a difference to the perfomance of my phone.
Hi guys. I need help with the latest chainfire 3d pro 3.3. My G version of galaxy s2 running cyanogenmod 9 ics 4.0.4 . I want to ask is it safe to install driver and plugin? It first want me to install CF3D driver but I'm afraid it won't boot up as the app said itself. Can someone who had experience with this phone tell me is it safe working or it is danger unsafe.

They got it running on the Galaxy S which our devices are based on so I can't see why it wouldn't work. Also look at

I recently bought a Samsung Player 4.2 (Brand new), model YP-GI1 CW/XEU running the 2.3.6 OS
I tried rooting with superoneclick 2.3.3 and it hangs at step 7 and the program then crashes. From what I understand superoneclick cannot root the device with the 2.3.6 OS
I have looked on the forum and seen the thread for EU devices (started by zebluk), however, I cannot download the rooted ROM as the link is broken
Does anyone know of a working link to the ROM or another way to root the device?
I predominantly want to remove the bloatware and maybe flash a new ROM in future
I have previously rooted my kindle fire and my sons galaxy tab 10.2 which were very straight forward, however, this seems a bit of a pain.

My brother bought a Samsung galaxy s3 mini ve yesterday he wanted to root it.We tried superoneclick, Srsroot and doomlord's easy root toolkit. But these programs did not work. I searched on Google and i found nothing.

I have the same phone and try to root it.
But I'm wondering if there is a S3 Mini Value Edition without NFC?
Because your model number is GT-I8200, mine is GT-I8200N.
Does it matter if a phone supports NFC or not in regard to rooting?
