Please help Stuck Nand Write Start - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

Sorry to make a new thread about this. I'm just freaking out. I just came home with this and started to root in the method stickied here. I'm stuck in Nand Write Start.... I dont know what to do. I can turn on the phone, I cant restart it or start it up... I NEED this for work tomorrow. I've never had an issue rooting.... I'm lost guys. I would really appreciate some help. Seriously freaking
--------------
Disregard.... used a different USB cable and port and worked like a charm. Crisis averted

I'm having the same problem. Were you able to resolve your issue? How'd you fix it?

For posterity, the issue that caused my phone to hold in NAND WRITE START was a corrupted rom. Downloaded it again and it worked.

HTC Sense Problem - Help Needed Please!!!

Hi all,
Was wondering if anybody could help me please.
I've just installed VinsosWeatherIcons which i got from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7129605&postcount=6300.
Managed to install it ok and then it asked to restart device. Restarted device but now Sense doesn't load up and causes the phone to hang alot and not return to home page.
Have managed to uninstall the cab but am still having the same problems.
I've tried everything I can think of but still Sense won't load and the last thing i want to do is hard reset home.
Anybody got any ideas please.
Many thanks.
remove them ?? lol
you can do it the normal way through remove programs or do it through active sync,
p.s. the title of you're thread isn't going to attract much attention most folk on here are getting bored of help thread titles, no offence intended. and just so u no you can click the post number and it will open in a separate tab or window and you can quote from there just makes it easier matey,
Hi Demon_man,
Thanks for the reply and advice.
Managed to uninstall the cab but sense still won't load and am having the same problems.
just been reading another sense wont start thread, somebody said try booting your phone without you're mem card in mate, if sense starts then you just got to figure out what's on the card
Thanks Demon_man,
Have just read the thread myself and have tried everything that has been suggested on there but have had no luck.
Looks like a hard reset may be required
damn unlucky mate, sorry couldn't be of more help
No probs mate.
Thanks for replying and your advice.
try flashing a new ROM. it works for me. my sense didnt start on 2 occassions. flashing the ROM again worked for me.

[Q] Is my phone bricked? What can I do?

I've done some searching and come up with nothing so maybe I'm overlooking something or I need help. I flashed the AOSP ROM and was attempting to clear out the SD card and make sure everything was in its place when I rebooted my phone only to be greeted with a LG logo for a second or two followed by a black screen and nothing else. The first thing I tried was to reboot into recovery and it didn't go. So then I tried to power the phone off and make sure I was hitting the combo correctly and got nothing. Again. So I'm scratching my head wondering what to do next. I though I might need to use LGNPST but I can't find a download for it (I will join the IRC and get it that way if I need to but I wanna be sure before bothering anyone in there). What do I need to do? Am I SOL? Is there anything I can check for to see just how bricked I am? Thanks for the help and I'll keep looking while I wait for replies. I appreciate it, guys.
Edit: After LGNPST was giving me a hanging boot animation I did a hard reset with vol down and power. It prompted me to reset, I did that and now everything is working. Thank you all and hopefully this can help someone else in the future.

Yes, I can.
Went ahead and found LGNPST and the instructions to use it. It should all put me back where I need to be but if it doesn't for some crazy reason then I'll bump the thread.
Alright, I thought LGNPST would work but I'm missing something apparently. I'm getting a reboot at 67%, which is normal, and then LGNPST jumps to 85% which I assume is also normal. After that the phone does the at&t boot animation and sound and then it just hangs up at "Rethink Possible" with LGNPST saying it was disconnected and to cycle the power (which I have tried, and I also tried just letting it boot, and rebooting and letting it boot and they all yield the same results). What is going on? What am I missing here? I've tried on a desktop running XP and a laptop running Windows 7 and the phone is still booting to the animation and seems to be working alright from a hardware standpoint so I don't know what the deal is. I'm gonna keep trying but any help or troubleshooting steps I should try would be greatly appreciated. I'm sorry for the triple post, as well. I just really would like to get this fixed tonight so I can sleep haha.
Edit: I'm gonna charge it while I sleep and see if anything changes. It will charge and I charged it for about 45 minutes before trying LGNPST after I found out it would charge. When it first came on it said the battery was too low and it needed to before booting so maybe that's my issue with it booting the new rom or finishing LGNPST. To get to where I am all I did was flash AOSP coming from SnowJB (the LGOG version, NOT the N4 conversion version) and tried to clear out my SD card. I'm guessing that's where I messed something up but it could have been anything, including a hardware failure. I've read about a lot of folks having a similar issue with no resolution and either saying they'll return it or the thread dead ends and nothing else is said. If anyone has any advice I'd appreciate it and if charging helps then I'll report back as well so as not to leave anyone hanging if they stumble upon this thread and need help. I also think it's time for a LGNPST thread with links to the program and steps on how to use it and all that jazz to culminate all these issues. I'm not sure why it has to be so hidden and hard to get to.
LGNPST can't be shared publicly due to legal reasons. To get your phone to boot try a hard reset. From powered off state hold volume down and power buttons. When screen appears select reset.
Edit...If that doesn't work your miscellaneous partition may be messed up, Shelnutt2 on irc can help with that.
If this is the same problem I would try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=38571768

Alright, I ran across that last night and thought about trying it. Do I do that with command prompt or what? Usually I wouldn't ask that but I've never done anything quite like this. And thank you for your help. I appreciate it a lot.

I didn't even think about retrying a hard reset after I got it to go as far as the boot animation. It worked! Thank you, so much. And everyone who replied thank you too! Thank you guys so much. If I had more than just thanks I would surely give it.

[Q] HD2 has corrupt OS

Hi! I would like to ask for you help, because I think my phone's OS was corrupted. I'm using Gingerbread 2.3, and I think that I have to reinstall it, but I don't have any clue how. It keeps getting stuck on startup, and it won't go past boot. This has happened before, but I went to a technician to fix it for me. Now though, I want to do it myself, just so I'd know how if ever this happens again.
Please help me. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

Help with Galaxy S3 I9300 International (unrooted)

Hello guys, been trying to fix my phone and went to several forums with no positive results. I hope someone here may help me.
Phone decided to stop booting, gets stuck at that page where in white letters it says the model and all (before the samsung logo).
Went into recovery mode: failed to mount...etc lots of errors in red.
Did wipe cache, factory reset and still no booting.
Installed Kies and tried to update firmware using download mode, Kies downloads perfectly but when installing it gets stuck at 0%. Happens with older and new version of Kies.
Decided to take a step forward and I download ODIN and a ROM from samsung website from country UNKNOWN since I don´t know which one to select (phone came from USA unlocked and I am using it in Argentina).
So, Odin detects the phone, but fails with this message:
<ID:0/003> NAND Write Start!!
<ID:0/003>
<ID:0/003> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
Tried with Odin v.3.10.7 and later with v.3.185 and same error appears.
I have read that this may mean a motherboard issue? Is my phone able to be saved by me and my computer?
I really have no idea what to try next. Phone is no longer under warranty and I really don´t have the bucks to pay for a repair.
Thanks in advance to anyone who reads this and posts a reply.
Nico
Can someone help please? I really don´t know where to go from here.
I am attaching errors in recovery mode and the error Odin gives while trying to flash (I have tried several ROMs, downloaded them once again, tried with versions 3.10, 3.187 and 3.185 with the same luck). Also tried with several cables (one of them Sam original).
I´m considering re partitioning with pit file, using Nand-erase all, and everything else people have posted in here. But I know that the next step might just brick my phone if I´m just trying things out blindly.
Has anyone seen these issues before and know how to rescue my phone?
Thanks!
ps: can´t seem to find where to attach files in here...just images and it asks for a url webpage
you may see my post in this other forum (I hope no one is offended I tried there also!):

I see that you've soft bricked your phone. Try using Kies again and try to wait longer. Some people say it takes hours to complete the installation. If that dosen't work, there are some guides around the General Forum that might help you.

OK, will leave it all night with KIES.
Yes, read hundreds of threads on this matter. I´m just trying to reach out to anyone who has solved this problem. I haven´t soft-bricked it, since it was charging and suddenly it stopped booting (and mounting).
I´m thinking motherboard failure, but will keep on trying with things that make sense.
thanks Jericho.

Don't do so. It looks like a nand dead. So you might make it even worse. Just send it for a repair. Or risk if you like. Choice is yours.
Thank me if I helped you.

I never noticed that! Send the phone to Samsung. They will repair it, for a good cost
EDIT: While helping someone else, I have discovered the Sudden Death Syndrome, with similar symptoms as what you are experiencing. Not much people really know about this today. And yes it is with the motherboard
If you can still access download mode try my stuff from here https://drive.google.com/folder/d/0B4vTiHTBB629ZW5vQndpbjFnblk/edit
Use an xp operating system and the drivers with 1500 in the name for best results.
Only connect to a usb on the pc motherboard. DO NOT USE USB HUBS OR PC FRONT PORTS.
If my rom wont flash then your device is a paperweight.
Did you do a battery pull, I had a problem once , was freaking out for
hours, did a battery pull and connected straight away
