use any other Kernel Like Siyah

from my experience i would say that some batteries need to calibrate. let it discharge completly.

Thanks for the reply.
I calibrated by draining till 40% and by charging completely for few times but no use.
It seems to be awake than going to deep sleep.
I wanted to know wat is that suspend_backoff kernal wakelock.

Maybe this could help you. I suggest you provide a full BBS log file, this too might help in analyzing the problem.

Looks like the system log. I was referring to the BBS log file, i.e. the log file generated by BetterBatteryStats

You visited the link in post #6 and the Google browser is not running on your phone, right?
The BBS log does not show the culprit directly, as it seldom does
As you are rooted you should consider installing Titanium Backup and use it to freeze Apps that are not essential for the phone to run. This probably makes it possible to isolate the App causing the suspend_backoff KWL. Unlike uninstalling an App, freezing it is much safer; if it was an essential one you can just thaw it to get it running again. I would probably start by freezing "Beautiful Widgets"...
The method of freezing Apps is quite time-consuming but almost always achieves good results.

well the main culprit for this 'Suspend_backoff' KWL is the 'Google chrome' app, just disable/uninstall/freeze the same and see
Also try changing ur Modem, as ur netwrk signal is very erratic

I'd start by uninstalling Lookout Security. From my experience Antivirus programs and Task Killers cause phones to do goofy things.

That will probably do it, but if not, you can either A) uninstall anything you installed, or B) (recommended) do a factory reset, start from scratch, and don't install ANYTHING until you see if the phone is ok. Assuming it is, then you can add apps back a few at a time until you find the culprit. Or with a stock experience if it keeps happening, take it back for a new one
I would do a backup and the do a factory reset.
Would doing a factory reset break root? Since I have already done a nandroid, would I be able to restore apps and app data only after the factory reset?
via Galaxy S III
To my experience NO I just factory reset and still see superuser under "all apps"
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
Finally someone got the same issues as mine. I got mine fixed. The main problem is the google account. No matter how many times you do factory reset, error will show again and again.
Try this and see if this work.
Goto settings --> Accounts and Sync.
go through each email account, make sure "Sync Internet" "Sync google play books" "Sync google play movies" are UNCHECK!
restart your phone.
That might solve the problem
Thanks everyone for the comments I will give it a try and see what works and I will let you know.

I hope that works lol, I have had that issue since out of the box.
I have a Rogers Galaxy S3 and mine began doing it yesterday, while in the waiting room of the dentist office.
The phone became rather warm and battery life went to crap. And then my phone started throwing up the same message. I dod not install or uninstall anything just before it began.
It was ok last night, but then it did it again this morning, while I was browsing through my tweet timeline in plume.
I had a similar issue on mine when rooted. I ended up having to delete the whole data partition and start again from scratch. It was a corruption somewhere in there causing it.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda premium
Ye, could be a corruption. Flash root-notrip stock. Then data/factory reset.

i had the same issue although it didnt really freeze the phone because i would just press ok and go right back to what i was doing. but im gonna uncheck those boxes in the email setting and see if it works.
Unchecked the boxes and knock on wood no I haven't had an issue again.

Yeah, I know about that one. Something is wrong with the boot.img...
It existed in CM9 too
As for the next build, expect one sometime in the next 7 hours
That's because Offline Charging is disabled.
It is still buggy.

Google Now
Anyone noticed that Google Now doesn't seem to work? It doesn't FC anymore but it won't let you scroll through the different cards...
EDIT: Oh, and also... Link2SD is still un-usable. After installing it, downloading apps from Play Store makes the process "system" crash and there's nothing you can do from that point, you have to reboot your phone.

What Google Apps package are you using?
Link2SD works fine for me
I'm using latest "light" gapps. The problem with Google Now is not only with the cards but when I search something I can't scroll through the results, only the top part of the screen "moves" when scrolling.
Link2SD does work but I'm not sure why but it makes it a pain to install new apps. Having to reboot phone each time because system process crashed. And must be done each time you install a single app... :silly:

Still the p500 with ROM build1 can't be detected as USB modem (I meant no USB tethering) by Slackware machine. Could you please to fix it? I encountered that bug (?) in all ROM (ICS and JB) I ever have flashed it, but GB (OpenOptimus ROM build 2.202.1)!.
Anyway, your ROM even it's the first built is one of the great JB ROM for obsolete phone hardware. It's almost stable imho. If you can fix mentioned above problem and the camera, it'll be perfect for my daily use!
Hey, as I posted, take a break from your hard hacking! Enjoy your real live. Have fun!

To make Google Now work, you have to use the version for ARMv6 from this link(from 'Instructions for ARMv6 devices')>> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1816622 !!! To get the voice work (it will listen to you, but will repeat what you said, but at least you don't have to write what you are looking for) use the workaround: The Voice Search for Google Now app. More details in the link!!! And yes, this method should work on Jelly Bean, not only on ICS. Good Luck!!! :good:

Pop Up Ads All Over

I have just, in the past couple of days, developed a pretty serious issue with pop-up ads appearing all over the place on my phone. They come in two different ways. 1st is when an ad pops up over the top of another app. This has happened with GO SMS and with the Facebook app for sure. I can't recall what other apps it has happened with, but I don't get the impression that the ad is related to the app I'm in. I've had them pop up on the home screen as well.
Here is an example of a pop-up ad when I opened GO SMS:
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I also have it happen where I open my browser (I use Chrome) and it will automatically launch a new tab, then the tab will act as a redirect and send me to the Play Store for another app (basically sending me to the download/install page for an app).
I don't recall installing any apps just before this started happening. I believe that my app list is the same before and after this issue, but I'll keep looking. I have not rooted and am using the Nova Pro launcher, if that helps at all.
How can I figure out what is causing this and, most importantly, how do I make it go away? A factory reset is an option, but I'd like to keep that as a last resort if possible.
Thank you for any and all help.

It is driving me nuts that I can't nail down where these are coming from.
Try uninstalling gosms. If I remember right. When I tried that crapp it was full of ads

I can try that. If that is the offender, that'll be a real bummer. Used it for about a year, now, between my S3 and Note 3 and never had an issue. I got pretty comfy with using it as a messaging app, too.
That said, if it is going to cause pop-ups like this, it isn't worth it.

I had an add on, but it was from a while ago. I can't really think of a thing I changed between it not happening and happening.
I have deleted GO SMS, though, and have not experienced the issue since. Looking like that was the culprit. Now I just need to find an acceptable SMS app.

Increase battery life & performance !

Hi all
Last night during surf XDA i found a useful app Servicely and on the basis of reviews i gave it a try.
I am currently using LG G2 D802 v30b running on stock lollipop and powered by Xceed kernel . And believe me it is the best app i found so far . Please go through the original link and don't forget to thanks dev. :highfive::highfive:

I add those apps in hit list which i don't use regularly or those which keep processing in background . That's all you need to do. This is the principle on which this app works.
i've never seen this before. i'll try thanks a lot.

App is too good . Be careful with internal processes running in background. For more info read the OP.
I don't get it. Isn't there already apps like Juice Defender that kill processes? What's the point of killing background processes when 1) they could malfunction or 2) they will respawn themselves?

It is different because once it killed a process that could not be started until you open that again or run that again. Suppose that you put messenger in kill list , the moment you turn off the screen it will kill process and you wont able to get messages until you open that app.
Other apps like juice defender kill the process but device wakelock cycle will restart them after a particular interval of time.
Device malfunctioning is not possible until you kill system internal processes which are required to run android system.
For more info please read the original thread and get your answers . Almost every question you are curious to get answers are already asked by others . Just read ... The more you read the better you understand .:highfive::fingers-crossed:

Nope ! It is better in some ways . Like in greenify if you kill a system process the android system wake that after sometime (You cant kill google play services and many more others) and in Servicely it all happen in different way. Look i am not comparing both but Servicely is more aggressive. I was using paid version of greenify and now i am using free version of Servicely (Planning to pay now). And i found it more juice sever

Debloating, what is safe to remove?

Been searching the threads and wanted to know what is safe to freeze/remove? I imagine the list for the TMO G4 would be the same for this this device?

Experimentation is key.
So far for me I've frozen anything listed as t-mobile with the filter option. I've frozen (deleting caused problem) all the Instagram Facebook (messenger too) handlers. Froze App Source I deleted the LG voicecare (only cause when I ran LG update I stupidly checked all of them) since I know I could without drama. My best suggestion is freeze first. Run phone for a bit and see if you get any errors on the screen.
This is everything that I have frozen. No issues so far. I have Nova installed as a system app, that way I can freeze the LG launcher.

With all the items you froze, do you still see the app showing usage in the battery stats? I have had devices that this occurred.

To be honest I haven't really looked at it. For whatever reason, I can't seem to get Better Battery Stats to work right. I've been having good battery life so it hasn't really been on my mind (average of 4-5 hours SOT).

Yes, but you also need the pro version of the app to freeze apps.
okay, but...
If i were to delete these apps, instead of freezing, would it blow my phone into oblivion?

You can delete all the Google and all the T-Mobile apps. Also delete AdaptClient and LTDDM, as those are behavior-tracking spyware apps.
You can delete LGPartnerBookmarksProvider which is a carrier customization package for Chrome.
Don't delete any LG apps as they're all tied into the system one way or another.
When I was making my ROM, I found that deleting LG apps would often result in FCs in random settings screens or other LG apps.

Some apps will, some won't, just make a backup before you start, that way if you break something, you can restore...
Zdeuce2 now with golden rays of sunshine
I was hoping for a script like I used on my galaxy note 4... just hook to pc and run .bat file that someone had created.. lol Oh well.. Any updates??

Where did you find good instructions to root the V10? I'm finding all kinds of conflicted posts.
freezing/deleting bloat
Hey, I'm curious how you managed to delete Google apps without ill effect. I shut off the Google suite and my phone went nuts. Particularly bothersome was the loss of voice to text and spell checker when writing text messages (with Textra). The Google keyboard and ( I don't know why there are so many voice related apps)the voice recorder and the other audible vocal apps I had to turn back on. Do you have a trick that made it possible to disable chrome without headaches?

So far for me I've frozen anything listed as t-mobile with the filter option. I've frozen (deleting caused problem) all the Instagram Facebook (messenger too) handlers. Froze App Source I deleted the LG voicecare (only cause when I ran LG update I stupidly checked all of them) since I know I could without drama. My best suggestion is freeze first. Run phone for a bit and see if you get any errors on the screen.

I imagine (and I mean this as much as a question as I do a comment) that after removing apps that serve a purpose such as Google keyboard, you could restore functionality by installing a replacement app of your choosing...? At least it seems to make sense in theory.. Plz correct me if I'm mistaken ... This is the 1st device I'm debloating myself manually so no experience to back my assumption... But I would like a more seasoned opinion on the matter... Thx
