I'll be glad to help. Good news there's no need to use adb or connect his phone to PC. The problem is more than likely a bad cable cord, end piece or battery. First you want to try using a different cord. Then go down the list. If switching cord doesn't work. Chargers sometime go bad after awhile and don't give the adequate amount of voltage to charge the phone.

I am sorry that your problem is still there. Now I have to ask about your specs: this will help me determine a solution
S-on or off
CDMA or gsm
Radios
Kernel
ROM
Recovery

That happens to me sometimes even an app is going crazy. Does your power setting indicate an app eating a lot of battery?

application are working normally as before, we even changed the rom...

maybe the port on your phone is damaged. if nothing else works have it checked out.
P.S. might be unrelated but an older phone of mine had an IC blown. showed charging but actually nothing was happening. it was an easy fix (but ofcourse if you have warranty send it in for repairs that way)

How to fix a dead htc hd2

Does anyone have the solution for this problem, if so let me know as soon as possible. thanks!
All depends of the determination of the term "dead htc hd2"
if you gave us some more information on what is the problem, and how/after what you have had the problem, than peoples see more clear the situation.
Help us to help you
Tell us all about the phone.
Does it turn on at all, if it does what happens?
Is it the battery? Have you tried a different one?
Is it unbranded, or network branded?
If it's a T-Mobile branded device, is it a US model?
If you can turn it on, do so while holding the volume down button and tell us exactly what it says on the screen.
That, for now, is a start. Come back with some info and we may be able to help you.
Atleast tell a story of your so called "DEAD" HD2..

My ReZound and it's constant problems

This phone has gotten me wanting to quit technology altogether. I have had so many problems with mine, I can't even explain how irritated I am and how good an iPhone sounds to me. Phone rejects all usb connections, can't stay on for more than half an hour (If I can get it to boot fully) I don't even know what to do anymore. I know I could probably get it RUU'd, only thing is that I can't lock its bootloader anymore. And also broke my root. Superuser and su are still there, but superuser can't gain root access, neither can anything else. Tried factory resetting and reflashing my rom, but that didn't work for more than 10 minutes. Honestly if I could, I would torch this phone and leave it in a ditch, unless someone has a way for me to RUU without needing to lock the bootloader, because I'm pretty sure that's the only way I can do it.
I'm on CleanRom 4.[one version before the newest]
Warranty it. But that sounds like a cluster**** of user error.

what he said. were these problems there when it was stock unrooted? doubt it.
Wow...I've had no real problems with mine at all, except for some weirdness with recovery and Boot Manager yesterday. But I finally managed to clear those up. This has been a great phone for me. I don't intend to assume user error, but it's always a possibility...but don't give up and go to the iCrap...Android is still WAY better. Hopefully someone in the community can get ya straightened out.

The only reason why there's any problems is because none of my cables connect to my phone anymore. My stock one broke and so now I'm using the standard usb cables that every other phone has. usb connection has never worked since the switch. Also my phone was working fine till it decided to randomly reboot into death.

I don't blame you for blaming me, but the truth is I really don't think this is my fault. I have almost bricked my phone due to a batched RUU Flash, but it still worked fine after I got it out of the loop. And this all started happening recently. I dunno what to think.

the cable for the og droid should be a data usb cable, so try taht one. i know that we sell cables that actually don't work for sending data in my store, but come with a travel charger.
idk man, it sounds like you may have f'ed it up somehow. why can't you unlock it again? try RUU'ing the newest leak maybe?

To run the exe, yes. But if you S-Off, it won't matter. It may be worth it.
FWIW, I know the 4G issue that occurs after flashing a radio is resolved by running the RUU then doing an hboot factory reset...maybe give that a shot?

Can't S-OFF if I can't connect my phone to my computer.
The vzw corporate just agreed with me that the battery life is ****ty and sent me a gnex which ill be happy with since the battery is better and it has miui roms which I like
what i would reccomend doing is flashing the latest ruu.
to do this take out your microSD and put it in a sd card adapter and put the ruu onto the sd card and then run it, and then do an hboot factory reset

What was the process you went through to get this done?
I would definitly say you should warranty replace it. Dont know why you cant use a data cable to connect to pc, I use em all the time, sounds like a hardware issue with that. Unless you can data connect while in Recovery or in Hboot I would say just replace with warranty.

no, the specs aren't ****tier. however, the actual phone itself is ****tier. the pentile amoled screen with oversaturated colors, the terrible radio that gives awful 4g reception and awful 4g speeds when compared to a rezound. you act like we don't have the developers...really? have you ever been to the development subsection? either way, go enjoy your nexus. i'll continue to enjoy my customized rezound, thanks to our many developers.

HTC EVO 3D won't turn on at all!!

I just bought an HTC 3D evo off craigslist, the seller said that he loaded the wrong ROM into it, he had android 4.0, tried to upgrade to 4.1.
I don't know if it is rooted or not, doesn't turn on at all (nothing happens, light, vibration, etc), i tried removing-the-battery trick, didn't work. I just want to load a new ROM into it so i can get it working again..
How do i do that?
Thanks.
Does the small led come on when plugged into a charger? Have you tried to hold down the volume down button and power button down at the same time to access the bootloader, also please specify if your phone is gsm or cdma.
(Don't ask me for help as I couldn't care if your phone explodes, eh!

As I have said, you need to be able to boot into bootloader mode to flash firmware. Whoever sold you that phone didn't tell you he hard bricked the phone in the process. The hboot had to have gottened corrupted. That's why you can't turn it on.

Here's a tutorial that you might find useful in helping you set up adb http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1751439.
Now do not take this the wrong way, you should listen to what I'm telling about your phone instead of ignoring me and trying to prove me wrong. Especially since I'm educating you on adb. I gave you that link so I dont have to explain how to set adb up. You have to be able to access bootloader, recovery or have phone completely on to run adb. In the end you will realize what I have told you. The person who sold it to you screwed you over. Your phone is completely bricked. Truly bricked. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm always open to learn new things.
I would definitely concur with Jsparta26, you unfortunately bought your phone from a unscrupulous, deceitful azz wipe.

I read your problem and read through the other suggestions, It does sound bricked but have you tried a different battery?, I had a battery one time that once it went completly dead the phone would not charge it, I had to charge it though an external charger, once it had some juice in it it would charge fine with the phone. All i am saying is make sure it is not something as simple as a bad battery before you decide to use it as a paperweight. If you do get it to turn on, let me know and I can help you get it working again.

Its like I said. Your hboot was corrupted. That's great you got your phone booted back up.
Now as for viper 3d there's no "best" ROM. Its a subjective topic so its basically not allowed. I can tell you its very stable, has lots of tweaks, and highly customizable. Only thing is that is doesn't have 4g or 3d. And it works on any hboot.

brick fixable
I had the same thing going on w/my phone. Problem was: the hboot was corrupted.. The only way to fix this is with linux.. I don't recall the exact files or command that I ran but if you search you will find them and it will bring your phone back to life.. NOTE: every thread i found had old information with older hboots which have different filenames.. Once you find the information on how to fix your hboot aka "brick" you simply need to get your exact hboot file and replace (flash) it through linux.. there is even an ubuntu cd you can download and boot into so that you don't have to install Linux.. I'd give you more info, but I'm at work right now and don't have time to research it. Good luck..!!

today i have a problem with my evo. i loss my phone in my car, and at night was frost, - 20 C.

i dont know, may be i had to remove the battery for a long time, or during this time dry condensate, after frost.

I honestly dont know what the problem might be,I would try flashing back to stock then going from there, to eliminate any possibility of a hardware issue.

[Q] Help with HTC EVO 3D GSM - What does not work out of the USB

Hi dudes!
I have a HTC EVO 3D GSM x515m 1:53 Hbooot
Brick after trying to install that crap Kernel RICMIX, who has screwed half the world!
As the device does not accept the image of more play ROMs on it, it took me a loser who claimed technical but screwed me over the phone trying to recover with Jtag. Got it back and I even got "unbrick" the device.
He works all normal charges the battery beauty!
But if I unplug the USB cable it turns off!
I do not know what else to do.
Now with RUU_SHOOTER_U_ICS_35_S_hTC_Asia_WWE_3.28.707.1_Radio_11.77.3504.00U_11.25.3504.06_M - original and correct of my model.

No, because besides the original battery it this good, I have another two new different brands and fully loaded.
It only works if you are in a charging source, even a portable charger.

Motherboard controls everything on the phone. Some phones work fine but rebbot very frequently, some won't charge, some have problems with the screen. So it's pretty large number of problems that could come up if it's somehow defective. My suggestion is to take your phone to someone who knows how to j-tag and run full diagnostic

But this problem only happens "inside" the Operating System installed, and can be any system, be it the original (RUU), ROM Yoda, Viper3D, etc ...
However, if you trigger the Bootloader, Fastboot or Recovery, it need not be connected to a power source.
It remains only hours on the battery and functioning normally.
Then "something" happens only qdo he is loaded with Android.
The only strange thing that happens is when I unroot it.
The message "Error too many links"

It looks like recovery isn't affected by phone's malfunctions. My digitizer died, but in recovery it worked perfectly. So, my suggestion still stands. Or you can get your phone to HTC service to run diagnostics but that will cost you dearly
