Sometimes I get a unknown text message which contains just numbers, how do I block it so I don't receive it anymore?

Those are cell broadcast messages. You can disable them by going to Messages > Settings and scroll down and uncheck "CB activation".

When I purchase a movie, does a complete file download to my phone? Or, is it something that I can stream from my account only?
I would like to place it on my computer as well.

You can stream it or, if you tap on the pin icon, it will download to your device.

Thank you, Bill. Do you know if I'd be able to transfer to my computer?
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
I haven't tried that, but I'm guessing that due to the security Google uses that it won't work. Try it and post the results here so others will know.

Just installed I9300UBDLI2 from Kies as firm-grade update. It did not do a full wipe. Had to re-root using Samsung GS3 Int ToolKit 6.0 last update 08/11/2012. Check operation and seems to be fine.
Nice!
Can you check in build.prop what the changelist no. is?
If you will tell me how know problem

Thanks bro. I'll check that out, yeah I couldn't figure it out so I started uninstalling a bunch of new apps that I downloaded to see if that icon would stop popping up.

I used this great little app to install the game "Horn" without all the fuss of changing my build prob.
Here is more info from the Dev and link....(apk Not on playstore)

*Tip *
Go to play store from browser to send Horn to phone. Your device will be listed as S3

Samsung stock one, android 4.2, version I9300XXEMB5
there is no official 4.2, you're using a leak, problems are to be expected
