[Q] a way to root a cube u9gtv - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all ! I don't know if it's the right place to post this thread but ...
I bought a cube u9gtv, called also u9gt5.
This is very good product, but i haven't found any thread on the web on a 'how to root' the tablet.
If anyone have a tips todo that i will thank him ! Or a way to install a better rom
Thanks in advance !

Hello, I have a similar tablet, the only method I could find that worked was this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460
Also, do you have the driver to use adb with your device? If not let me know and I will boot up my PC to send you a guide I found on setting it up without the correct driver.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium

Hi Anthony !
And no, i haven't found the adb drivers ... when i plug the tablet on my pc it install three or four drivers but no one is adb ...
I have to say that's a very good product but the biggest problem is the weak of the underground comunity ... can't compare to samsung
So i'm absolutely not against a tutorial on how to install those adb drivers.
You're Amazing Anthony. Ok, that's a bad joke, ---->[]

Vista recognizes a Cube u9gtv.How to install a drivers adb? Please, help me

Vodafone 845

Good Evening,
I understood that each device has different ways to get rooted.
If that is wrong I am sorry.
Now... I have a Vodafone 845 and saw great apps on market only for rooted devices.
Normally I would like to have those.
I surfed the xda Forum and found some discuss about this device but root links are to x10 (sony ericsson I believe).
Because of my understanding that confused me.
Anyway, I am dummy in android and did`t understand a lot from those procedures.
My request is: would you guys please make a step by step guide for dummies (with simply english) like me in android?
THAT WOULD BE GREAT!
My devise characteristics are:
Vodafone 845 ( Huawei U8120 ?)
android 2.1 update 1
baseband version 2210
kernel version 2.6.29-perf
locked in Vodafone Romania.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Respectfully.
Wonderful
This is absolutely great!!!
So many advice, so many guidance!
I really can`t choose between those.
Seems that my post is written with invisible ink!

Hey bro I just saw ya post now, I too have a vodafone 845. What you must first do is root your device using superboot, and then you need to pur a custom recovery using amonra recovery. Our device is synonymous with the u8120. If you search for any roms dealing with u8120, you can use it on this device as well. You should connect the phone via usb to a win7 pc and then follow the directions on how to root etc. These directions can be found on the page that deals with Fresh Zodiac Fruit by Cedric. If you follow these directions to the letter you will have no problem rooting your device and installing a custom rom. Once you have a custom rom on, I would advise installing rom manager from the market. Once Rom manager is installed, flash Huawei Ideos 1 recover image. Then put cm7 u8120 slyking on your sd card and flash that, it is, as far as I am concerned, the best rom for this phone nowdays. When you got some experience using and flashing roms, download v6 supercharger and play around with that, you will be amazed at the results. Anyways bro, just remember vodafone 845=U8120. Once you got this, searching is easy.
THANK YOU
Thanks Bro , I just saw your reply.
Just when I lost any hope of a reply.
From your reply seems a lot of trouble to root my device.
I rooted my phone and now of course I got a bigger problem.
From the moment I bought the phone I hated the calendar,
so I tried lots of calendar apps from the market and stopped the search when
I found aCalendar which suited me excelent.
yesterday after I rooted the phone I erased the original calendar.
This morning when I tried to open the aCalendar ...surprise,
the app didn`t open and the screen shown: OnCreate|NullPointerException null şi apoi OnResume|......
I restored to factory settings and nothing ... same message.
Would you help me please with that?
Or some guru, PLEASE HELP.

Yes I still need help >>>
I wanna to Update my android 2.2.2 to higher versions that possible .
Did you try this?
I've tried this app more than one time and it always failed to complete the misssion .
I hope you have another way to done this upgrade .
waiting for your reply.//.
Does the FOTA app on the device report that there is an update? Did you try to download it and install it over the air with the use of this app? What happened?
There is a way to install Gingerbread on OT-990 and it is explained on this forum, but, lot of providers have decided to stay on Froyo since GB on this device is known to drain baterry fast.
If You still want to experiment with upgrading Your software search forum, here is complete guide.
Let me remind You that this will void Your warranty and if you make a mistake device can be bricked.
Once You install ROM from instructions in link, Yo can install another GB custom ROM, I sugest Marina Lite.
But you must know, custom roms require new bootloader wich is included in first tutorial (first link)
And, yes, when you ask a question, try to be more specific. I didn't understand a thing from first post (or, I couldn't find question in it)
thanks for your work , but this way isn't fully and i don't get my phone rooted yet .
So, you can instruct me to root my phone first .
thanks for you time .....

[HELP] Fastboot Driver Sony Xperia Z5 Compact

Hello everbody,
i am glad that XDA is here to help me ^.^
First of all i would like to say sorry for my bad english.
I am not a native speaker D:
Whats my Problem?
I want to root and "jailbreak" my Sony Xperia Z5 Compact and i found a lot of tutorials how to do this.
The first step would be to unlock the bootloader. I already visited the offical Sony website and downloaded Android SDK etc.
The Problem is: The fastboot driver won't get installed.
HardwareID: USB\VID_0FCE&PID_0DDE&REV_0100
I already used several Flash-Programms, the official Drivers from Sony, and also the festbootdriver on the unlock-descritpion (also from sony)
But everytime i try to install the driver, the devive manager say: "Nope! Seems like the Hash isn't correct. Won't do a thing."
So my "S Boot Fastboot" is still uninstalled.
I tired this on Windows 10 x64 and Windows 7 x64... both with the same error.
Does anybody have a idea or (even better) a solution?
Thank you!
Greetings

After installing Adb & Fastboot windows tool . Right click on "My computer" navigate to Device Manager. From there right click on s1 fastboot and click update driver. Click on show drivers. You will see a lot of devices , among them select android device. Then selectAndroid bootloader interface and install it . Thats all.
