Small problem..........go to Display in order to change the Lock screen photo but no gallery is shown......any ideas how to get the photo gallery back to its location in order to change Lock screen !

When I view a picture in the stock gallery app and I turn the phone from portrait to landscape or vice versa, the picture doesn't rotate. Instead I need to tap once on the picture to reveal the menus and then press the rotate button (on the top bar, second from the right) for the picture to turn.
Is there a way to make it auto rotate like in the stock ICS gallery?
This may sound stupid but bring down your notification bar and check if screen rotation is on.
Anyway, wouldn't be surprised if it were a bug. I have a couple of bugs in my gallery app. Some pictures flip 180 automatically and some stretch to landscape and distort instead of staying in portrait
Thanks for the reply. Auto rotate works everywhere else. It even works in the gallery app all the way until you select one picture and view it full screen. It seems as though it was designed that way because the rotate button actually lights up when you turn from portrait to landscape and vice versa.
\edit I've attached a screenshot of the rotate icon. Its the second one from the right on the top menu bar. This icon is grey when in portrait. When I turn my phone to landscape the picture doesn't rotate, instead that icon becomes white and pressable.
Has anyone figured out how to display the captions along with the photos in Gallery? The meta data is there as I can see the description when I select details for a single photo. It would be nice to see the description while the photos are displayed in slide show mode etc.

hey, i am trying to change my homescreen wallpaper since yesterday but my device is only showing 5 options of default wallpapers came with device. i want to put my own image on lock screen. but i am unable to do so. i have tried from gallery by pressing options button but all in vain. help me

does the camera launch on lockscreen?
and does it display the picture you've taken on a lock mode (like an iphone) or do you have to unlock to view the pictures?

The camera does launch from the lock screen (even with pin enabled), it also only gives you a "locked" gallery letting you view or delete only the pictures taken then and there, you need to unlock to access the rest of the gallery.
Anyone else annoyed by this? I like the phone and camera shortcuts, but I don't like the Samsung camera. I use the Google camera and had a shortcut for it on the Jellybean lock screen, but now they've taken that customization away! Is there a way to make the Lollipop lock screen camera shortcut default to the Google camera?
