I want to remove 3Three.co.uk splash screen from startup and shutdown/restart. Is there a easy way to do it? because I having difficulties to understand the technical terms which is on lots of threads. and i'm new to this. Please help

You can't get rid of boot animation without rooting your phone. Try one of the rooting methods and you'll be able to delete boot animation

So I updated to 2.2 official and everytime I turn my phone on it makes the T-Mobile jingle. I want to turn the sound off and Ive turned media and system sound off but It still makes the sound so anyone there who knows how to fix this?

IF you at willing to root your device then it is as easy as deleting a single file. Otherwise, I am not so sure there is a way. Good luck!

What single file? Do tell. I'm rooted and I'm having this problem.
I'm pretty sure /etc/PowerOn.wav.

OK i just flash 1.2.6 on the atrix i don't know how to say this but the screen seen like it's not centered so to pressed on a app or w/e i have to touch below the icon for it to work as a result i can't used any of the touch keys like menu,home,back,search because i can't touch under the icon
so if anyone understand what im saying please help

Hey guys, sorry if this has already been posted, I couldn't find anything, but I'm wondering if anyone else is having the same problem or if there is a fix. Currently whenever I turn on my phone to wake it, a series of lines on a black screen displays for a few seconds before I am greeted by my lock screen, does anyone know how to fix this?

Hey guys, I am currently running a gs2 with cm9 rom, and the cm9 kernel, however if I have my phone on any of the profiles I.e silent vibrate or loud etc, I constantly switches between the profiles automatically, roughly every ten seconds .
Things I have done:
Flashed a newer nightly
Crashed system UI and restarted it.
Done all the wipes when flashing roms.
Changed between themes and icon packs.
Any other options for me guys? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advanced guys

Try to set Profile to default (hold Power key) and then switch sound mode.

Strange thing.
Try to:
1. flash RC (http://download.cyanogenmod.com/get/jenkins/3457/cm-9.0.0-RC1-galaxys2.zip)
2. make Nandroid backup, format system, flash CM9 again
3. change kernel
4. make logcat (aLogcat form GPlay or through adb on PC)
I have no more ideas right now.

Hey guys, not quite sure where to post this so if it's the wrong section please move it.
So I'm looking for an app to lock the phone when I close my flip cover, I've tried many but all of them takes me to the app once unlocked again which is unhandy if I try to take a call, I have to open the dialer again
Are there any apps like that out there? I'm giving up hope.
Any suggestions are highly appreciated
